As a Yankee fan Dominican 🇩🇴 who got to see Joe Mauer and the Twins play a lot. Congrats on his induction in HOF. Best Catcher in the game during mid-late 2000s. For what he did at the position was extraordinary and to win a batting title 3 times as well for a Catcher is unbelievable. Handled the Twins pitching staff really well but was also a great contact left handed hitter who can hit to the opposite field. A leader on Twins clubhouse and great at getting runners out from stealing bases every once in a while. Congrats Mauer like we did with Jeter and Mariano. The memories of Twins vs Yankees and especially the playoffs many times. Expect Buster Posey to be in HOF when he gets on the ballot as well. Best catchers in late 2000s-2010s.

Few free agents from DR , Puerto Rico are actually thrilled with smaller salary and 25 degree home openers. Joe was the big ticket for the pohlad vault . Can't really blame Joe for that.
