Love your Yule decorations. Just made my wreath for the front door from ivy,holly, yew & a few sprigs of my olive tree. Now for the rest. You are an inspiration as always ❣️x
I love the idea for your tree and it is is charming from what I could see. Would you have time to show us the tree in detail again in the daylight with bright light on it? Trees are madly expensive for both natural and artificial here in the U.S...even at Walmart! I don't have access to natural greenery here in town in a low income apartment. My 9 year old cheap 5 foot artificial tree loses its "hair" every year during unpacking, decorating and repacking so is very sparse now. I looked at new ones and they are near $70 for one equivalent. So I bought inexpensive bunches of silk greenery and flowers , cut them apart and poked those in everywhere. It is glorious now! I want to thank you for your continuing inspiration...especially for us senior single women. It means more than you will ever know. Blessings and love to you and Jack. Karen
Lovely job! I love what you’ve done. Our Christmas decor was created with natural yard clippings and thrifted to the tune of less than $5 this year. I went into the yard this afternoon and cut various greenery to fill our large plant pots, baskets and crocks on the deck. I used pine cones and pieces of downed branches to add more texture to the pots. The rusty garden shovel was decorated with a silver Sharpie with the words “Let It Snow” and some hand drawn snow flakes. I finished it off with some leftover bits of tartan plaid tied around it in a bow. I even left some bits of dirt of the shovel! My inspiration came from a You Tuber who hasn’t the money to spend on Christmas decorations and uses what she has. Its amazing how much we can do just shopping our homes! 😀. We have many blessing to to be thankful for. Somehow the season is so much nicer not making ourselves nuts with shopping for that perfect item to decorate with. I love Ur trees and simple decorations they are beautiful. X I have 2 artificial trees I have had a few years and a few things items with led battery lights. I made a few items myself with glass jars pebbles silk flowers led candles and lights as I am not buying any more plastic baubles tho I have a few from last year. Just lovely! There's something special about homemade ornaments and the memories they hold. I still decorate my tree with ornaments that were made by my sons when they were in school. My boys are now 42 and 39! I also include pictures of my dogs in special ornaments. Press Jack's paw into your clay and label it. He needs an ornament too!!! Take care!

Inspiring, yet again. My daughter gave me an interesting home made decoration. A polished coconut shell with a sparkly star nativity scene. Baby Jesus in his manger is a glow in the dark baby. I love it.
Suggestion: make an ornament with Mr.Jacks' paw print. As kids we'd cut out paper snowflakes to hang in window.... I just might. Fresh greens smell the best. Peace.
