The townhouse was beautiful, l liked the layout/ concept with the kitchen in the middle lve seen that before in Europe and l think it's great, so many steps will keep you fit🙂 The day looked so much fun and yes Ale is a super Mum. It was such a fun day getting to explore Orlando with Ale! :) Definitely made the most of my time and saw some places I hadn't seen before!

Nice that you were able to spend the day with Ale. Guess there are some perks when your flights are cancelled. Eric will love the cookies, if you don't eat them all first. I thought there was an age limit to become a FA. Reason I say that is my neighbor has a 58 year old aunt that just became a FA for a small regional airline but is trying to get on with a major airline...I think she is nuts 58 but she wants to travel. HMMM, any thoughts?

pilots have an age limit but flight attendants do not :) As long as you can pass training and are physically able to do the job you can be any age!

Glad you had Ale to hang out with. I got stuck in Dallas for almost 2 days. Had so many cancellation s, but I finally got to Cancun, and all was wonderful!

You kind of touched on something that would be interesting to hear about. Can you talk about flight safety, things that we as passengers should be better prepared for and all that you do/are qualified to do? Also, have you dealt with any emergencies during your FA career?

Way to make the best of it! I was delayed for four days in January trying to fly back to Dallas from my parents’ in Syracuse and it definitely made the situation easier having someone to spend it with! I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that we understand when delays happen! Can’t wait to see your trip to Epcot! ❤️
How lucky to be in a warm place when this happened. We just had a flight cancel due to weather and I was grateful it canceled because I was very nervous about flying in bad weather and driving home!

I went to college in North Texas. Ice storms are nothing new - they are an annual event. You'd think the Metroplex would have figured out some equipment and funding for street maintenance.

Have been waiting for this upload to see you meet up with Ale, now I have to wait for part 2 haha.
Here in the UK we have been hit with 3 severe weather events, strong winds upto 100mph, so plenty of disruption here which affected my flight home from Spain. Nice to see you share your worries and concerns and not hold them inside. But you had a big smile on your face when you met up with Ale.

Lake Nona looks so cute! The good thing about that townhouse floorplan would be if someone comes to your front door, they can't see into your living area. So glad you got to spend the day with Ale. Your blue drink was a cola? I think I may have gotten a sugar high just looking at those cookies! 🍪🍪

There's no place like home and you can't get there!!😪 hope you finally are able to get home safely!!...we've had some warmer weather here in Central California for early February...in the high 60's and 70's...no rain for 45 days...now Feb 21 and today in the 50's with a cold wind. Cold nights now which isn't good as all the almond trees are blooming!!...take care and stay safe. Hugs to Luna!!

There was snow and ice in Tulsa on Valentine’s Day 2021 and in early Feb 2022. It was really cold and icy. I still had to work though.

If you ever.go back to gideons and like peanut butter you have to try the peanut butter banana cake slice! It took me a week to eat it because it was huge but was sooooo good!

That townhouse is called an upsidedown house, they usually do that so you get the view from your living space, rather than bedroom where you wouldn't really get to enjoy the view much.

Having just had a six hour delay in Seattle, due to weather elsewhere in the United States, and being stuck inside of a very inhospitable sitting area, I kept thinking about you flight attendants and where you might’ve been during this delay, and this video sealed it for me. You’re enjoying the comforts of a hotel room. So I hope you understand when we’re grouchy and tired when we were supposed to get in at 11:30 and we don’t end up getting in until 630 the next morning. I was up for 24 hours

I was following your updates on IG and was wondering how you were doing in Florida. I'm glad that Ale lives there because I cannot imagine being there by myself, stuck, not being able to come home. I've had flight delays before, but not to that extent. We may have more crazy TX weather, from what I heard. I'm in San Antonio, BTW.
Four hundred thousand dollars for a house that cost seventy thousand dollars to build. I guess the inflated rate of Florida real estate is a huge factor in a part of that cost? Add to that the over priced cost of permits and who knows what else? How much would the monthly mortgage cost be? Look at the delay this way the delay in Orlando is a great place to just hang out while the weather improves in the most of the rest of the country. Here in Arkansas we had three/four inches of sleet and snow. It was just great and so beautiful.

Hey, at least you were trapped somewhere warm. lol The reason they put the living areas upstairs is so you can have a view. You don't need one as much when you're asleep. It's common in areas that have a view.

It is amazing how Luna appears and disappears at about 5:44.
Back in 2007 I was supposed to fly from PDX to Dallas to Orlando when there was flooding. We circled for hours and refueled at another airport before landing in Dallas when I was supposed to be landing in Orlando. I managed to get myself on a 1 am flight
On the way back my flight was delayed because the flight attendants needed a break so I got rerouted to another airline and had to sit in the airport for 6 hours. I got to fly first class for part of the trip and arrived home 90 minutes after my original flight would have landed because I had only one layover instead of 2 (I didn't fly out of PDX that was a layover)

Texans have the biggest bathrooms...across the entire country. During my travels, I have found tex bathrooms can be even bigger than my entire California apartment.

It’s too bad you didn’t get a coffee cake cookie from Gideons (they sell out fast), they’re the best.
Cookies and MILK = heaven. But brush your teeth cause milk or sugar requires it. Love the episode.

It's not often that work puts you in a position where you are forced to take a bit of a break, so its good to enjoy it when it does happen! That "Beep" bus (2:40) you and Ale drove by is actually more autonomous than Tesla's system because it doesn't require a driver. Bit of a nerdy difference, but Tesla's system is misrepresented sometimes

Does DFW have de icing machines? Live in Michigan so very familiar with then. Understand the southern states just can’t deal with cold weather and all it’s issues.
They do, but the highways for airport workers are another story. Tomorrow night brings another round of snowy/sleety weather to DFW, hope Julia doesn’t get stuck somewhere again. Unless, of course, it’s Orlando again.
Gideons is amazing. And will last for two weeks. Bonus
