Gonna be spending New Years with family on the east coast. Also, we get hundreds of hello fresh boxes at FedEx. Usually a whole trailer’s worth of them (I work inside Fedex trailers, the small ones that you probably have seen on the road)

So fun that Leah now lives in Dallas! Best wishes for reserve month! My husband and I will be seeing his family after two years for Christmas! I waited too long to get my ticket because I got a jury duty summons...so had to bite the bullet, but I will just think of the extra cost as going toward all the hard-working holiday flight crews! I will be flying Christmas Eve, so am very grateful for all who will be working that day! Safe travels!

Living close to your friends is a definite advantage, and something else unique in Leah's apartment is that 5 burner gas grille. If you like cooking, that's a very durable and versatile setup that you don't find too often !
If you are thinking about relocating check out the Southlake, Colleyville, Hurst area, it is fairly close to DFW Airport as well but has more wide open spaces.

I just travelled from Orange County SNA to Oklahoma City via DFW. Was really hoping to see you on my planes or in the terminal. I treated my outbound flight crew to a box of nice chocolates because I know how hard it is this time of year + Covid of course...
I love your channel Julia. You always give a very good account of your travels and home time. I love flying, but the turbulence, I definitely do not like. I live in a town called Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. The longest flight that I have been on was from Dubai to Sydney, which was 13 hours. Thanks again for your posts. You should always start a video off with Luna! She is so cute! Its funny that you mention that you can't have Xmas or Xmas eve off; I was told I was needed to during this time. That must be really fun to do flying the USA on a regular basis. I drive 100 miles I consider it a 'long trip'. Ha Ha. Xmas is approaching. Gift Cards are the name of the game this year.

I'm guessing if you really are excited about your next trip you maybe have a long layover at some place with a beach?
I love your “hair bob” to accommodate your head wrap to keep head warm. Italian wedding soup up north when you go out to small restaurant you can get that as a side yum! Sorry to hear about your 14 day separation hopefully that time will go fast. No layover in Philadelphia oh man😕

Looks like you can cook pretty well there Julia.😄 Obviously AA do it different for the holiday, kind of tough on the crews. BA would look for volunteers over christmas and new year, that said it was a much reduced schedule and then double crew everything. Finally they leave slots of leave on hold to release on the 23rd.
Julia Really enjoyed your video! If you ever retire from being a flight attendant, I think you would be a wonderful instructor for up and coming flight attendants. I've used Hello Fresh before and it was delicious. However, as a single guy it was a little too much for me to be cooking for myself as I'm more of a griller. I will TOTALLY keep in mind your code though if I decide to go back in and hopefully they give you the kudos you deserve for promoting them.

Your Union needs to get better language regarding how shifts are arranged. Right now it it appears you are expected to jump when the boss wants, and to ask how high on the way up. That needs to change. If not unionized, it will only get worse.
Curiosities….looked at the map and see that your airport is between Dallas and Fort Worth. Do FA tend to live near one city or the other? Access easy for driving?
Julia, you are looking absolutely beautiful. Eric is such a lucky man. I hope you remind him of that. On a serious note, you are right. Aviation is often about being gone over weekends and holidays. I had my fair share of that flying charter and even corporate. My question to you, Julia, is this: Is being a flight attendant what you want to do long-term? Maybe you've covered this in another video and I missed it. if so, I apologize. I think you'd make a great pilot, personally. Your personality and good spirits would get you a long, long way. People just want to be around others with a good attitude, and I'll be honest. Even though I know you've had your struggles with stuff going on, I think you have one of the best attitudes in this business that I've seen in a long time. I'm totally a 'Julia Cheerleader' because I've been in this business for so long and know what a toll it can take. I think you're doing great.
How long does training take? Like when u graduate highschool then u have to do a training to be a flight attendant right. But how long does the training take?

Your Union needs to get better language regarding how shifts are arranged. Right now it it appears you are expected to jump when the boss wants, and to ask how high on the way up. That needs to change. If not unionized, it will only get worse.

On a serious note, you are right. Aviation is often about being gone over weekends and holidays. I had my fair share of that flying charter and even corporate.
My question to you, Julia, is this: Is being a flight attendant what you want to do long-term? Maybe you've covered this in another video and I missed it. if so, I apologize. I think you'd make a great pilot, personally. Your personality and good spirits would get you a long, long way. People just want to be around others with a good attitude, and I'll be honest. Even though I know you've had your struggles with stuff going on, I think you have one of the best attitudes in this business that I've seen in a long time.
I'm totally a 'Julia Cheerleader' because I've been in this business for so long and know what a toll it can take. I think you're doing great.
How long does training take? Like when u graduate highschool then u have to do a training to be a flight attendant right. But how long does the training take?
