Hi Julia, I'm so glad that you don't mind getting out on your own for different experiences. I'm the same way. Some friends don't understand how I can go places by myself. Well, sometimes if you want to go and friends decline.....I still get out.....I've been to both Disney parks by myself....had a great time...movies...doesn't matter....Life is too short to stay home just because you don't have someone to go with you. If you’re looking for ideas for another video soon; one I’m curious to hear about is how you and your fellow flight attendants deal with your schedules. I mean, in the context of having to deal with lots of time zone changes (in this video, four in one day on the first day), different wake up times and odd wake up times, and so on. Are there times you either forget where you are when you wake up, or talking to others you think you’re one place when you’re really in another, and how do you combat fatigue from the long days and odd wake up times?
Was watching RUclips flight disasters & your thing popped up, so now I'm a new subscriber. Like others, I like your sunny outlook on things. Not sure if you have ever done a personal safety video, but it you were my daughter, I would hope you carry a little container of mace/pepper spray gel. They make something for $10 that fits in hand or pocket with a little elastic strap for jogging. Merry Xmas.

Your video is sooo interesting to me! I grew up in Glendale California and moved to Chicago with my parents when I was 13. My crew and I would ride our bikes up to the Hollywood sign all the time when we were kids in the 60's and I then move to Chicago! Who woulda thunk it! I guess it is true that we are only six people removed from knowing everyone! Keep flying kiddo! I am enjoying your videos!
That hike to the Hollywood sign was brutal! Thrilled you took me with you and the flower conversation was needed. I’ve been struggling with motivation and my surroundings. Also, the funny story made me chuckle! I though maybe you were going to ask him he if he’d like something to drink or prefer you to spill more water on him!! @@JettingJulia Whenever I fly next to an empty seat and snacks are being handed out, I ask for an extra "For my friend, Tray" (motioning toward stowed tray next to mine). Always gets a laugh. :-)
I'm pretty sure the flower was a "Moon Flower". We had one at out old house. The flowers start as a long finger like cylinder and then one late afternoon they pop open and continue to get whiter and bigger as the day progresses. The next day the flower starts to wilt and falls off of the plant. A seed pod with spikes starts to form at the base of where the flower was. The pod grows until is is a little larger than a golf ball and than it splits open and reminds you of a green pepper inside. Like a green pepper it has a lot of seeds in it that will fall to the ground or be eaten by bird. A funny thing about the seeds is they must be scratched or slightly damaged to sprout and grow a new plant. Another strange thing about them is they like to grow in the absolutely the worst soil they can find. Ok I've bored you enough about the Moon Flower, nice videos Julia I love your positive attitude on life.

I lived in Burbank for about a year many moons ago. I interned on General Hospital, left my small town on the east coast and moved to CA all alone. Craziness, but it was a fun year to say the least. I loved Burbank.

It definitely helped bring his reading skills on par with other students and since then he has loved reading. We even took him on a cruise and he spent his time getting books from the ship’s library! Great vlog as always! At SK in the old days the AHs had cupons for dry cleaning to give to pax that accidental had been soaked in dif kinds of fluids. What a great lay over! No one picks up the dry leaves. No wonder it is a lot of forrest fires in the US! Looking forward to the next one.
Mandeville Canyon is another great hike, where you can see the ocean. Fryman Canyon is another good hike. You can’t actually hike up to the Hollywood Sign anymore.
If you ever have a long enough layover in St. Louis, Missouri get to a place called Pappy's Smokehouse, they have really good sweet potato fries. Just make sure to get there right when they open because the line gets long but they get you though quickly.

Welcome to Beautiful (Downtown) Burbank! That morning haze it what we call the marine layer. (The clouds come in off the ocean and move inland until the sun burns it off) Tip - If you want a real studio experience, I love and recommend the Warner Brothers Studio there in Burbank. Even more of a real, working studio experience is the Paramount Tour. If you are a Lucille Ball fan, the Desilu offices are on the Paramount lot.

I don't know if you feel the same as you fly and work as a cabin crew. For me as a passenger, I always feel so good to see view from above up in the air.
One year I went away 3 times in the span of 2 months: Dominican Republic, Acapulco, and Cuba. I took the same charter everytime -- twice with my mom, once with a friend. The crew was exactly the same on every flight, coming and going.🤗

I went to Los Angeles a couple years ago and only saw the Hollywood sign from the Griffith Observatory. I will try that hike whenever I can get back!

Welcome to Beautiful (Downtown) Burbank! That morning haze it what we call the marine layer. (The clouds come in off the ocean and move inland until the sun burns it off) Tip - If you want a real studio experience, I love and recommend the Warner Brothers Studio there in Burbank. Even more of a real, working studio experience is the Paramount Tour. If you are a Lucille Ball fan, the Desilu offices are on the Paramount lot.

I don't know if you feel the same as you fly and work as a cabin crew. For me as a passenger, I always feel so good to see view from above up in the air.

One year I went away 3 times in the span of 2 months: Dominican Republic, Acapulco, and Cuba. I took the same charter everytime -- twice with my mom, once with a friend. The crew was exactly the same on every flight, coming and going.🤗
