I invested in an iPad this fall for school and I practically saved my shoulders from carrying books around campus. The ability to multitask on a single screen is super cool and useful too. Since you have a MacBook (if I recall correctly) you can use it as a second monitor (or even third) while you’re working in your office.

I will say, really am enjoying learning life as a flight attendant; since one of my high school classmates is a first officer for delta. However in relation to your IPAD mini inquiry; my brother is an IT software technician for a corporation and he suggested the 8.2 inch screen, with full memory capacity.He does not recommend protection policies, since, there is always loopholes from the manufacture. He did say; “his opinion, do what you feel is best”

At least you can drive to DFW. I know a lot of pilots and F/As deadhead to the crew base. So, an early morning start of a trip means deadheading in the night before. A friend of mine had to commute between Chicago and Miami while assigned to MIA for a few months. Probably 75% of his trips started before the first flight from ORD arrived, meaning deadheading the night before.
If your body is telling you that you need rest by all means listen to your body. Don't worry about making an entertaining vlog. You are a great story teller and your vlogs are so easy to follow.

My daughter's mac book just had the black screen of death, thankfully she had apple care, got fixed and sent back to her within a week. I'm not an apple product person but was impressed.
Julia, if you’re going to buy an iPad the memory should be 64 GB at a minimum this will allow you to load a good number of apps. If you can afford the price get a128 GB. it can be purchased without cellular capability just WiFi that will save some money. Since you have a smart phone it can be used as a hot spot for times when you don’t have access to WiFi or you don’t want to do financial transactions over WiFi
I think everyone is feeling stress emotions. Literally almost everyone has suffered some trauma or loss during this time. The sadness, anger, frustration, and other grief emotions are normal part of grief. You are lucky to have all the years of gymnastics and the lessons in learning to reframe your emotions and focus on gratitude and positivity.
Hi Julia, I'm sorry about your tablet. I have an iPad (and I dropped it once in a parking lot and had to get the screen repaired) and I absolutely love it. I read my books on it, listen to podcasts, listen to audiobooks, check my email, etc. Couldn't imagine not having it. Good luck with whatever your decision may be. I love your videos so much. Learn to take care of yourself...if you feel like you need a relaxing day just to recuperate because of early morning flights or whatever, no need to apologize...listen to what your body is telling you and take care of yourself!!...learn to do that now while you are young. Years ago I used to really push myself re working extra shifts and in the end, it really didn't benefit me but I'd crash and burn and was then too tired to do the enjoyable things I should have done. Depending on how big you want the iPad screen you could get the cheaper $329 iPad and it would suit you well for many tasks. The newest iPad mini is pretty slick and just the right size for travel and such.

About tablet screen - if you will check online how much cost screen replacement exactly for this model then you can ask somewhere for how much than can be fixed and you will figure out is it worth do so or not! Also, you'll need to ask is tablet will looks visually perfect after the screen replacement, because sometimes that not looks perfect around the screen anymore!

I use the iPad Pro because my vision isn’t the best and since retiring it’s a great option to use instead of my laptop. My grandkids have the iPad mini - that might be a really good option for you. The big decision is how much memory - if you don’t save lots of content permanently on your device, the lower amounts are fine. I used the iCloud for storing my pictures. Good luck!
iPad is definitely the way to go. You can put it in a nice outback cover choose your own color. iPads are a lot easier to utilize and read the screen and see the pictures then iPhone. I have dropped mine Bunches of times and have yet to damage it. Everyone needs to take at least one day each week to recharge your mind get plenty of rest and do the things that you want to do. I got an iPad Air a few months ago for school and I love it. It works as an ereader, TV, phone, second screen when doing laptop work etc. 10/10 recommend. As for what model, it depends on what you plan to use it for.
You'll get the compatibility with your laptop if you get the regular iPad and the screen should be fine for reading, too. Also, midweek is usually when I hit a wall and I really need to clear my head and do a little re-set so I can stay sharp for the rest of the week. I don't think there's anything wrong with taking that time !

I know where that hotel is. My home is a couple miles from it and I’ve been to the medical facility you saw when you opened your curtain. That hotel is far from MCO but easy to go to via 528.
You can get into a rut/cycle of all early shows. You can try to keep up by going to bed at a ridiculous early time, but the body can’t “preload” sleep. So, enjoy/appreciate when you get a trip that doesn’t have all early shows.

I love my iPad. I’m on my third one since they came out and I don’t know what I would do without it. I use it daily for reading, recipes, Facebook, RUclips, games, shopping and so much more. It’s so easy to use when you already have an iPhone, since it works the same. You won’t regret it.

The iPad mini 6th generation is absolutely AMAZING! And it’s small enough to where it won’t take up a lot of room in your flight bag.
I just dropped the money for the iPad Air. My old one I had since 2012. Been wanting a new one , so glad I did.

I got an iPad Air a few months ago for school and I love it. It works as an ereader, TV, phone, second screen when doing laptop work etc. 10/10 recommend. As for what model, it depends on what you plan to use it for.
You'll get the compatibility with your laptop if you get the regular iPad and the screen should be fine for reading, too. Also, midweek is usually when I hit a wall and I really need to clear my head and do a little re-set so I can stay sharp for the rest of the week. I don't think there's anything wrong with taking that time !
I’ve noticed I need about two evenings a week for a total “reset” to avoid burnout!

Black Friday is over. This year inventory on everything is low so there won’t be super low prices. Just get an iPad or Tablet if you want one.
Get the Ipad Mini 6th gen if you want something smaller or the Air. They great devices. Luna is a sweetie!

I have an iPad 2 and dropped it & cracked the screen. I took it to Batteries Plus Bulbs and they fixed. Now I just use my iPhone.
This was exactly what I needed tonight Julia. It has been a really sad few days for me and my family. My grandfather passed away last week and so we were all at his funeral, and I just got home from that this evening. Thank you for always being so kind!

Get an iPad Air (love mine). Search for a deal on Amazon or Costco and then get a protective case.
I know where that hotel is. My home is a couple miles from it and I’ve been to the medical facility you saw when you opened your curtain. That hotel is far from MCO but easy to go to via 528.
Scheduling wants you to see those amazing sunrises
You can get into a rut/cycle of all early shows. You can try to keep up by going to bed at a ridiculous early time, but the body can’t “preload” sleep. So, enjoy/appreciate when you get a trip that doesn’t have all early shows.
Thank goodness my next trip doesn’t have an early report time but it does have an overnight flight on the last day 😴

I love my iPad. I’m on my third one since they came out and I don’t know what I would do without it. I use it daily for reading, recipes, Facebook, RUclips, games, shopping and so much more. It’s so easy to use when you already have an iPhone, since it works the same. You won’t regret it.
Just finished Maid and it will take you on an emotional roller coaster. Especially if you or someone you know grew up in a similar situation
