As for myself i trained with British Airways in London and worked for them for 23 years.
@@lcolussidamanproductions6614 I follow 6 female American Airlines flight attendants: Julia, Jessie, Jo Jo, Kat, Kacey and Stella and I KNOW it's the airline's regulation that their flight attendants can blog on YT (as long as it doesn't interrupt any of their duties with the Company) and even can be shown in uniform (Spirit, Wonderful Ale's employer, doesn't even allow them to be shown in their blogs in uniform), but CAN'T MENTION THE AIRLINE BY NAME in any of their blogs, you have to figure it out for yourself.
Some airlines doesn't even allow their flight attendants to blog on YT, like Delta, United (?) and Southwest (probably had to do with the experience they had in the mid '00s with their involvement with the US version of the Airline reality TV series).
You have to RESPECT the conditions each employer puts on their employees for their social media involvement.
I assume you would prefer international trips over domestic.
I also assume you get just as frustrated with flight delays and cancellations as passengers.
Julia is a real content creator, not afraid to show her vulnerability, insecurity’s and challenges. She shows that life has its ups and downs and that a positive attitude goes a long way. No filter or fake glamorous lifestyle we see too much of on Social Media just a genuine good honest person 😊.

Julia, of all the FA's I'm familiar with, you are by far the most natural and enjoyable, along with Eric. And of course including Luna makes your channel extra special. It's absolutely refreshing as well that when you take us along with you on your travels, there is as you say no "bar hopping," night clubbing etc. And I agree: your beliefs, political and otherwise, are best kept private. It's none of our business. Taking us along on so many fascinating trips is more than enough. By the way, I'm highly organized as well, can't have mess and clutter. Have a great week!

I really enjoy your content and the humor. I used to travel with my former company (600k air miles and several hundred nights @ Marriott) and loved watching the Flight attendants keep it all together. Watching you is like sitting over your shoulder while you travel and work. Thank you for sharing your career - you're amazing! Great video! It's already been said! But very good advice your mom gave you! About not relying on your significant other to make you 100% happy! Have to be independent! Definitely also agree that you must keep private certain aspects of your life from the public. Do love your channel and find your flight experiences and destinations interesting.

As much as I love your travel vlogs, I also really enjoy these more personal "get to know you" ones. I know I'm just a part of your audience, but if we had met in another life, I feel like we could have been friends! I really relate to being an ambivert (somewhere in the middle of extra/introvert) and I've never been bar hopping or to a night club. 😂 Not my cup of tea. Long time follower, first time commenter 😂 I want to just say thank you for the videos but thank you for your boundaries! I admire anyone that does not give in and follows their boundaries they set out and stick to them. No matter if we are on the same political spectrum, I admire and respect you won’t share. As a therapist, boundaries are healthy for ANY relationship whether than is social media, friends, coworkers or romantic relationships!

In retrospect I think I would have loved being a flight attendant. I love aviation, helping people & travel so think I would have enjoyed that career. But, that wasn't the "plan" so I'm totally grateful for what I'm doing now. Being close to retirement age, it's too late to start over. I am so happy that I can watch your videos. The videos are always a bright spot in my day. (I watch your videos first!)

Hi! It’s never too late to start over. Airline’s like like mature adults of any age. I know of several flight attendants who starter over later in life. Even though I’ve have some time before I retired, I started at 54yrs young and now 56yrs wiser and the happiest I have been in year’s doing what I love doing. So, go for it!💙✈️

I also wanted to be a Flight attendant too. I was very close to doing it, but I was young and wasn't ready. I'm 58 and I still think about doing it. Airlines like to hire older people, they are settled and very stable and can afford to do it.

Milwaukee has a lot of cool stuff going on during the summer - amazing festivals, tons of outdoor music, and a great art museum. I'm guessing, though, they put you up in the hotels near the airport, which keeps you pretty well separated from most of the fun things to do.

If I was 50 years younger, and just starting my transportation career, I would actually be really interested working in the 24/7/365 madness known as crew scheduling. I love logistics and puzzles, so I feel that would be right up my alley, so to speak. Do staff in that department also enjoy flight benefits like pilots and FAs? You are such a lovely person and I hope to run into you one day when I travel!!! Okay, so I have one random assumption, which could be flight attendant related or just on yourself. Since traveling is your job and your airlines pay for your rooms, do flight attendants take home the mini shampoo/conditioner/soaps that are there in your rooms? I assume not all the time because you bring your own toiletries but I figured if there was a good scent, you'd take it with you! I love bringing those home since they are great reminders of a good hotel stay!!!

Hey Julia-- Great videos! Just a couple questions. What makes up a crew members uniform? Do you have to pay for the uniform and accessories yourself or does the airline give you a per diem? I know exercise is important for a crew member, but I can imagine with air pressure and the number of cycles, it could be hard on your skin, your joints, your bones, etc. over time. What would you tell a new flight attendant regarding self care?

You mentioned Galvanstan Texas I went there in 1989 with my Grandparents and my twin brother we rode a ferry over the Island our van and trailer took a lot of space on the ferry in that same year I lost my moms dad I was 13 years old at that time I am 46 years old now I would to go back some day hope you have fun when are there
