    Well that is the one thing I learned today, I had no idea you could change the canvas color! I always used to make a large square and set it to the background in whatever color I needed, super glad not to do that anymore.

    You're videos are always so helpful! Now if Cricut would just open up that print& cut size, silhouette is so confusing and ugly to work in lol.

    Thanks for the great tutorial! What's the difference between group and attach?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Год назад +1

      Group just puts them together for convenience on the canvas. Moving them together, etc. Attach puts them together where they cut EXACTLY in that location and out of the same material.

    • @kimhandy1861
      @kimhandy1861 Год назад +1

      @@AngieHolden so a leaf with veins needs to be attached and cricut will both draw the veins and cut the leaf together on one mat. If grouped, they'll appear on separate mats. Is that correct?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Год назад +1

      You got it!

    • @kimhandy1861
      @kimhandy1861 Год назад +1

      @@AngieHolden thanks so much for clarifying Angie! My veins were separating from my leaves and I wasn't sure how to connect them. 😂

    Awesome!,, But can you rename groups?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Год назад

      Yes! You can rename ANY layer. Including groups, etc.

    And every time they update DS, I have glitches. This latest update freezes my PC if I have another program running at the same time... like RUclips. LOL
    I want to get a laptop that's dedicated specifically to Cricut DS.

    I’m trying to do a sublimation but in the layers it will only let me go to size 6.78in x 9.28 I need to go the size of the paper 8.25in x 11in how do I change that please?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Год назад

      In Cricut Design Space, the maximum print then cut size is 6.75x9.25 inches.

    Hello Angie, can you explain why the “blue” Cricut Access banner is a part of the layers panel. It is very annoying and distracting.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Год назад +1

      It is just where Cricut put it. I don't like it either actually.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Год назад +1

      Yes! You can change most of them with features like slice, etc. I have a video coming up on their new editable images that makes the process a bit easier.

      Please don't give up. I'm 65 and it took me a while to warm up to my Cricut, but I just kept watching Angie and other videos. Like others say start out small find what medium you want to work in. I work in stencils for etching glass and dabble in T-shirts.
      Just one step at a time.😊
