I wish they'd give us the option to save Cricut images into our own folders. For example images we like but don't have a project yet save them to a birthday folder or military. Instead they show us all the ones we saved. For some that could be hundreds they have to look through when all they want is one they know they saved.
This is almost the only update from Cricut I'm super happy about. The renaming function is something I've always wanted since starting Cricut and the less steps for slicing is a dream. Great start to my day!!!
Love the update but I agree with other people since the market now has printable htv cricut should give us the print only option so we can make large projects.

I was wondering the same thing! You don’t need to use the slice button anymore so I’m not sure why they still have it but maybe to make the transition easier to have a familiar button. I’m not sure! Lol have a great weekend also!!

Amazing feature being able to rename layers - I’ve been wishing for this forever 👍. The fact they’ve moved reference to the action is a bit pants though 👎. Some of the other features are pretty awesome too 👏. One of the most useful updates yet.

Hi! Thank you for this video, super helpful. My issue with the update is the color on the layers panel when I have clicked on the eye for it not to show up on my canvas. My layers panel is white and a very light grey. Is there a way for me to change this setting? I hope I explained this correctly.I work with a macbook pro. Thanks
Thanks for the info does this now allow any image not cricut you upload that has layers can you now manipulate it as in take the layers apart as you could not do this before 😊
Man. Not seeing the operation type right away on the layers panel is going to mess with me! Especially trying to make sure all my draw lines aren’t accidentally “basic cut”. When you have big projects there are way too many layers to have to click on and check each one!
How do you delete just some words form a design...not sue how to do this ...in new features...old was was to ungroup and then delete...what am is missing
I have a file that now is messed up and looks totally different since the update. I can't seem to figure out how to make it revert back to "normal". Is there anyway that you could help me out with this and see what the issue is?
Question: I have an svg that I can't ungroup. I want to slice off the bottom. I placed a rectangle over it, tried all the combine buttons and the result was not what I wanted. I can't seem to get the slice button to become available. Any suggestions? Thanks!
with this new design i only can slice a small heart out of a bigger photo but can't figure out for the life of me how to slice a photo image in half so I can make a larger photo for my crafting wished they never change .i may sell both my Cricut and by a different machine to frustrated

No Update for Me. I have restarted cricut design space a couple of times, restarted my PC, and still my version only shows version 7.19. No update coming thru from Cricut. When I uninstalled design space and went to Cricut and re-installed still I am only receiving version 7.19. Am I doing something incorrect? Is this update only for those users who are working with a Maker? I am using an Explore machine. I wondered if Cricut has put out this version for Maker version users only. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I saw another video on these same changes. That demonstrator actually went into the beta version, so it doesn’t appear that the new release is out. You’re not doing anything wrong.
I have owned a Cricut since the day it came out and this is the absolute WORST update I have ever experienced. NOTHING works correctly. Years worth of images do not upload and give me the "image could not be added to canvas" error. Nothing slices like I need it to, half the time combine, slice and attach don't show up, and I'm an EXPERT at this software. I have done beta testing for Cricut in the past, but not this one. It is horrible. I would say be ready for a lot of anger and frustration. Spend some time playing around with it before you do a new project because you will end. up extremely frustrated if you try to do it on a time line.

For those who can’t find the new update . Go to your settings and change your “ application experience “ to beta instead of live !

I am trying to change a square image to a circle. I used to be able to do it with slice but can't figure it out now

Every time they update, I have to recalibrate my machine. It's frustrating.
I’ve noticed I’ve had to recalibrate mine more often too. They’ve been doing soooo many updates lately. I wish it would go a little smoother
