Hi there everyone, thank you for watching once again and I hope you were able to take something away from this video. Please support my new facebook page: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61551929490084 I will continue to work with other business owners who are willing to teach how they started up their company, cost to start up, process of making money and how much they profit they make. I will turn this into content and hopefully create more videos like this one.
No need to thank us my dear you are one in a million with what you are giving us here. I appreciate you and I wish you good luck because you're a great lady. Remain blessed always.
Thank you very I got everything I need to start up the business. This is bit by bit from A to Z. What remain for me is to purchase the materials needed for the work. Thank you once again I very glad
@koachkrafts why did you ignore my comment? Was it inconvenient? You replied to almost every comment after mine so you were reading comments. What's up? You are hoping viewers won't look into comments so you don't have to explain this? xD
Great presentation! I knew that canvas was all money maker, but presenting the actual dollars and cents of it is mind boggling! A couple of tips for selling the Canon:to begin with Canon's color management system is renowned in the art industry. With the right packs of ink and the right paper, you could sell glacee prints, recognized as an archive print, which is the same level of quality as a fine art print. Good money with high end decorators, and the carriage trades. I also think that someone doing canvas prints of any grade is missing out on a lot of cash not on the order. I suggest three or four moldings to offer. Sell it with a good amount of profit in them. Your customer will be glad not to have to then go out and get a frame. Doing the chopping nailing and finishing work is easy after constructing a few as practice. That's extra high profit revenue. But since it was sold with that extra profit, you could order from a b2b picture frame. The industry has an excellent software interface. Cheers, and thank you for all of your hard work!🎉.

Very short and sweet... I love it. I normally I would look for a company to print for me but I had no profit.. this video was very thorough and straight to the point...

Finally a video that gets down to the nitty gritty. You covered almost everything in a single video! I'm a photographer and I'm trying to sell my prints on canvas etc through dropshipping. They say the canvas or fine art papers are very expensive and charge upwards of $100 for a 24x18. How is it costing you so less? Are you using top quality archival papers/canvas and inks?
@@koachkrafts Ok nice. Also do you think if I print here in India and ship it to US/Europe that would be cheaper or using a dropshipper who does the printing, packaging, shipping would be cheaper? They charge like $100-150 for a 18x24. Because if I ship abroad, I think the shipping costs could be very high due to the heavy weight of Framed fine arts prints or gallery wraps.
Can you tell us the name of the Epson cotton canvas product number and gsm weight you recommend..because the prices here in Australia for cotton roll are pretty eye opening.
Thank you for this masterpiece, you got me inspired! In fact Im on a lookout for a printer and I have the following question: Since I can't get ahold of the Pro 2000 in my country, I was thinking of going for the Pro 1000, as it is easier to find and the price appears to be within my budget. Do you think that I will be able to get the job done using the Pro 1000? I found out that it will be able to handle the 11x8, 24x17, 30x20 sizes, that you mentioned in the video, but I was wondering if there're other factors that I need to consider, as I am not really experienced in that field. Thank you once more!
You printed your photo and went straight to stretch with no varnish protection at all?? Any bit of liquid can fall on your print and ruin it. Are you printing on a varnished canvas that's pre-protected??
Great information thank you. Just quick question how do you pack you canvases for shipping? Where do you get your materials for shipping big canvasses ? Thank you
Shipping depends where you are. You will need to wrap the canvas in a layer of bubble wrap and place in a box. Check prices on local boxes and shipping. But your client will bare this cost.
Thank you a lot for this video! Finally, I found some answers, I just want to ask you, don't you do you lose some jobs because of the print size limits of the printer? How often do people ask for prints larger than 20x30? At least here in my city, I see that the 24x36 is a very popular size for a canvas, but to print this you would need the bigger 44-inch printer, am I right?
Yes it would require a larger printer. I do get asked time to time but for the most part they can work with the 30 by 20. Having a larger printer would be pretty worth it so you can service those large canvas orders as well, as long as you can bear the extra cost on the printer.
I have never watched a video that was so detailed and where everything was explained in great. I am a web designer and looking for other ways to generate income from home. I paid almost $75 for a 20x30 print for my recently finished basement and I just love canvas as it looks great, easy to hang and light. May I ask what you do for shipping? are you in Canada as I am in Canada.
Hi there Steve, thank you I am happy you enjoyed the video. I do live in Canada. I use canada post. You can get some bubble wrap and boxes from Uline. Shippy is easy , just have to make sure your canvas is secure. Charge your client for shipping (shipping, box and bubble wrap cost).
I am doing research on printing on canvas personalized lake house signs. When you google it, several ones come up. They all seem to be canvas print wrapped over frame. Hi Cindy, yes canvases would be a great way to sell these lake house signs. Sounds like you are seeing canvases just like the one in this video. If you have a market and some cool trendy ideas for the artwork then I would suggest you start your own canvas business.
Hey, I just bought a Canon iPF GP-200, but it looks bad when I print on canvas. do you have a setup tutorial, so that what's on the screen, comes out from the printer?
Out side of afore mentioned, I like the idea of printing on canvas and i will give it a go allowing a year for it to get going. Video waas very well done!

@golemtv6698 excellent attention to detail Darlene and golem. It's very sus and more than that because he said he made so much money by marketing on ig, it feels like he made the numbers up. You left out the fact that with a Canon printer you must print every 60 hours. Or the printer will run a cleaning cycle to keep the heads clean, which wastes ink. Failure to do so will eventually clog the head. Ink cartridges are the most expensive item after the cost of the printer. If you have enough clients and orders to keep busy every day or at least every other day. That's awesome. Good luck.

Thank you for Sharing. It is vwry Profitable for any Artist who are into Selling Art. When you are Breaking down the Cost and your Profit. I think I need to go against how you compute the Cosf of the CANVAS PAPER - For example for a 20 X 30 Inches Canvas you should have add extra 3 inches for each side of the Canvas for Stretching the Canvas. So for a 20 X 30 Inches Canvas the Cut Canvas Size should be 26 X 36 Inches. I hope I have corrected you on this
Hi there, I actually do go through and explain the extra paper needed to wrap. It is explained in the video and that cost is included in the total cost of paper used per print. Let me know if any confusion.
Hi! Excellent video, it was the best I found on the financial aspect! I read in the comments that you stopped working on this to focus on your main business. If you were to record this video today, would you change anything? Something went wrong? I ask because I want to start in this area, but the investment is quite high (especially here in Brazil, the printer and inks are ridiculously expensive).
Hi Matheus, that is an excellent question. Sorry for the equipment being so expensive, hopefully you can find an alternative. To answer your question, if there is anything I would change it would just be to market the canvases even more. This would include to add some more creativity and making canvas designs that are trending. For example, when argentina won the world cup it would've been a great idea to make some Messi canvases and market them. Basically if there it one thing I would change it would be to target some methods that help the business go viral.
Firstly Thanks for such wonderful video, I m from india want to know currently which printer is best for such printing. Which type of canvas needs to be use i.e. polyester or matte paper only. Please reply asap , thanks 🙏
Greetings, there must be plenty of printers in india. You must do your research, share the printer with me via email and I will give you my feedback. Polyester canvas is best.
Thank you for this thorough explanation! Question, what company do you use to ship your canvases and how much does your shipping cost affect your profit? Any other shipping advice on how to get the most profitable rates?
Make sure the shipping charges are paid by your customer, they dont mind paying as they are already expecting the charge. Shipping Charges could be anywhere from $10-$30 depending on how far it is going. Make sure your canvas is bubble wrapped!
@@koachkrafts thanks for responding! I need some guidance on editing (just starting out in process of buying my own printer). What editing tool do you use if any and how often do you edit the images that get sent to you?
@@koachkrafts I know we ask the clients to send the image in a high resolution, but what if that’s the highest resolution they can provide and they want a larger image? What editing do you do then?
@@SJ02208 The only reasons I'd have to edit them are because: -the focal point of the picture is too close to the edge (the edges have to wrap) -Picture needs to be adjusted to the size printing -other minor edits For all these edits I use adobe but theres several programs you can use out there like Photoscape.
You want to use the Canon certified inks. You can also order from overseas but run the risk of losing your warranty if the printer detects an ingenuine ink
Hi there nice video it is educational I learned something. Is there anyway to make Ai art canvas? I mean which generator is used to turn photos into Ai art canvas?
I’m going to purchased the same printer soon. My bf don’t think it’s a good idea bc trying to look for clients is going to be very hard. But I added the printer on my Amazon cart but I’m having trouble with the roll of paper.

This is the best video I’ve never seen on RUclips 🎉😊 Thank youuu 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you for watching. you have some amazing videos on your channel as well !
hello do you put varnish on the paper how do you avoid cracking the paper?
Firstly Thanks for such wonderful video, I m from india want to know currently which printer is best for such printing. Which type of canvas needs to be use i.e. polyester or matte paper only.
Please reply asap , thanks 🙏
Greetings, there must be plenty of printers in india. You must do your research, share the printer with me via email and I will give you my feedback.
Polyester canvas is best.
No reference to packing and shipping costs, which can be substantial.
Thank you for this thorough explanation! Question, what company do you use to ship your canvases and how much does your shipping cost affect your profit? Any other shipping advice on how to get the most profitable rates?
I was going to ask the same question
@@SJ02208 The only reasons I'd have to edit them are because:
-the focal point of the picture is too close to the edge (the edges have to wrap)
-Picture needs to be adjusted to the size printing
-other minor edits
For all these edits I use adobe but theres several programs you can use out there like Photoscape.
This was very helpful. Thank you very much!
Glad you liked it, your very welcome
What specific ink should use??
You want to use the Canon certified inks. You can also order from overseas but run the risk of losing your warranty if the printer detects an ingenuine ink
Which one is ideal between paper and fabric canvases?
paper
Wonderful. All I kept thinking was "make sure you don't staple your hand please"
Haha thankfully that has not happened yet
Wow, thank you so much, for sharing this.
thank you for watching
This is really good! Thank you for it.
Thank you! And you are very welcome :)
Thank you this helped me a lot, I am planning to start this business soon in Libya, hopes it goes well

Hi there nice video it is educational I learned something. Is there anyway to make Ai art canvas? I mean which generator is used to turn photos into Ai art canvas?
Do you mean using AI photo generator to create images?
Man I would really love to this!!!!! Trying to find a way to buy the printer.
It is a very fun full time or side time job if you are looking for something that is fun and income depends on your work and creativity.
may i ask, do the echo solvent printer do the same work or similar work, just asking? please reply thank you
Yea there are a lot of eco solvent printers that can do similiar tasks.
I’m going to purchased the same printer soon. My bf don’t think it’s a good idea bc trying to look for clients is going to be very hard. But I added the printer on my Amazon cart but I’m having trouble with the roll of paper.
Which printer are you purchasing?
Pro2100. The only issue I’m having now is putting the image on the frame. It’s not fitting. The frame width n thickness is 1”. Im looking at the paper sizes and can’t get it right. I did 30x20 using A1, I did the 11x8 using A4 n 24x17 I used the B2 because I saw u used that format. Am I using the wrong paper size?
I meant the frame is 30x20 n the image is 24x36
I know you said the thickness of the frame is 1” but what’s the width?
Depends but should be atleast an inch minimum. The ticker the sturdier the frame.
This is a very well done video!
Thank you for the compliment ! :)
One cost you don’t take into account can be quite expensive, and that id the cost of delivery!!
Shipping depends where you are. You will need to wrap the canvas in a layer of bubble wrap and place in a box. Check prices on local boxes and shipping. But your client will bare this cost.
This makes me put up my own canvas business because of how clear and thorough your explanation 🫶🏻🙌🏻impressive. Thank u 🙏🏻 for sharing this.
I just wanna ask if what are the downsides starting this business? Like what are the type of a quality ink ✍🏻 to use that u can suggest?
Is the maintenance of your equipment not so difficult?
@@pams_touches thank you for watching. This business has flaws just like any other business . Maintenance is minimal on this printer.
Ink costs are not cheap which is one thing to consider.
Such an informative video, thank you! What is the original size of the design you created before printing? 16:9 or 3:2?
Thank you so much. Sizes are all detailed in the video.. it has been a while since I made this 😅
Thank you for this!!! You are amazing amd have helped me a ton ….. im so excited you start my biz 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
Thank you for the kind words, I am glad I was able to help. Best of luck on your journey, let me know if you have any questions.
Awesome video. Very useful tips.
Thank you brother!
i wonder if it'll print on regular linen canvas?
hmm, I am not too sure. I only used cotton and that is most popular way to print.
So do these printers come with UV/fade resistant inks to sunlight?
this ink is UV resistant
