What i find fascinating is the difference in energy at these unplugged performances. Alice In Chains was so somber, Nirvana seemed like it had this tension ready to burst as Kurt just kept so chill between songs, Pearl Jam here just so electric and inviting - incredible how amazing these unplugged performances are. They should really bring the format back, love to see Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys, just various bands using nothing more than acoustics and a drumset and killer vocals.

    Son, she said
Have I got a little story for you
What you thought was your daddy
    Was nothin' but a...
While you were sittin' home alone at age thirteen
    Your real daddy was dyin'
    Sorry you didn't see him
But I'm glad that we talked
    Oh I, o-oh I'm still alive
    Hey, hey I, o-oh I'm still alive
    Hey I, o-oh I'm still alive
    Hey, oh
    While she walks slowly
    Across a young man's room
She said, "I'm ready for you"
    I can't remember anything
    To this very day
    'Cept the look, the look
    Oh, you know where
    Now I can't see, I just stare
    I, I'm still alive
    Yeah, yeah, I, o-oh I'm still alive
    Yeah, yeah, I, o-oh I'm still alive
Yeah, yeah, I, o-oh I'm still alive, yeah
    "Is something wrong?", she said
    Of course there is
    "You're still alive", she said
Oh, do I deserve to be?
    Is that the question?
    And if so, if so
    Who answers, who answers?
    I, o-oh I'm still alive
    Yeah, yeah, I, o-oh I'm still alive
    Yeah, yeah, I, o-oh I'm still alive
Yeah, yeah, I, mmh I'm still alive
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
    Wow aha, yeah aha

    Yeah, aha
    Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!

I’m almost 54 and I just got really into PJ nearly 4 years ago. I was always a fan but didn’t buy albums or delve much deeper into their music. Then I got satellite in my vehicle and got sick of listening to various channels so I plunked myself on PJ station and I fell in love! My husband would tell everyone that all I ever listen to is PJ! That was true until the U2 channel came along. Then I bounced back and forth between the 2 channels and pop over to Ozzy’s Boneyard now and again. I LOVE Eddie’s voice and the stories. I had a bad couple years where I lost my dad and two beautiful German Shepherds. They have been forever linked to several PJ songs that sometimes choke me up when I hear them, and sometimes fill my heart with love and joy. I’m very grateful to discovering PJ when I did. Now I just pray I can see them live in concert just once. THAT would be amazing!
