These animated videos bring so much to the videos. knowing the history behind the song makes it more emotional.
He (the baron) knew his engine could run on a leaner fuel/air mix than anything the allies had. (He had faith in fine German engineering) Therefore he could achieve more altitude and attack from above in the enemy's blind spot. (Bi-wing planes have a huge blind spot from above and front due to the top wing) From survivor's testimony, most of his victims where hit before they ever saw him. Every time I listen to a Sabaton song I study the subject and their music is so fascinating and well researched.
The red Baron is and was that well known, that F-4 and F-111 Crews during the Vietnam War made custom crew Patches with the red Baron as a sign of elite

Cool, another history lesson. During their live shows, they bring a red triplane on stage which is actually a Hammond organ, where the prop moves when it is played. Richthofen's squadron was nicknamed 'The Flying Circus,' possibly because the pilots had their planes painted in bright colors (violating German military standards at the time), or perhaps because they moved up and down the front lines like a circus, going wherever the fighting was the heaviest. Richthofen was wounded in the head and required numerous surgeries before he was well enough to return to his squadron. Some believe his death was a result of the brain injury, since his actions on the day he died violated many of the orders he gave his pilots. Great story, and a great song to immortalize it. The fact that on Bloody April the Baron alone accounted for an entire third of the total planes shot down by himself is a testament to his skill.

I like to correct an error on my part, the plane is a Hammond Organ that’s on stage not a piano. As a very very old Metal rock head who loves Sabaton music and historical accuracy I hope I’m forgiven for the mistake. God Bless, Rock On and Stay Safe!🙏🤘

So many people give hate to the germans as being "the bad guys" in WWI and WWII, but you got to give them credit at how legendary the German Military was. Erwin Rommel wrote the book on desert tank warfare (a book we are still reading to this day) and Oswold Boelcke invented dogfighting. Sometimes you just have to give the Devil his due.
