About 2 or 3 years ago I discovered Sabaton. I commented on one of their videos saying they exposed me to history I never knew about. To my surprise they replied to my comment saying History is their passion and will never stop singing about it.

I don't believe you've done that one yet (but I could be wrong (I'm quite an expert in getting things wrong :) It's another one of those stories that would make a brilliant and inspiring Hollywood movie (an original instead of remake no. 10.001 (so it will probably never happen :) ) A story about Incredibly brave girls and young women protecting their homeland against the nazis in outdated ancient planes. She was awarded the French Légion d’Honneur (Legion of Honour) twice, as well as the Russian Cross of St. George, the British medal of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael, and the Serbian Miloš Obilić medal. She was the sole female recipient of the French Croix de Guerre 1914-1918 with the gold palm attribute for service in World War I. She was eligible to receive a French Army pension , if she moved to France. She turned down the offer, choosing to live in Serbia.
