The sad part of this entire story is Milunka died a penniless woman and was a maid who cleaned the bars in the town she lived in. France offered her a nice house and a pension for life but she refused.
Apologies for our pronunciation. Thank you for the reaction !
Oh wow, it's an honor to have you here! You did such a great job with the video! And your pronunciation was fine. Our apologies if we sounded mean or something, that was not our intention whatsoever.
@@neonskepetunije No worries, it was a great reaction and it made us all smile. Savage :)
At least you have the correct Serbian flag in the animation. I noticed on the album "The Last Stand" that the artwork for the song "Last Dying Breath" used the wrong Serbian flag - They used the modern flag instead of the one for WWI.
Thanks for checking out the animated version and reacting to it. I'm glad I sent you the link. Have fun, young ladies!
Yes she was the most decorated female soldier ever. But lets forget for a moment she was a woman she was just overall one of the most decorated
soldiers of all time and just a real badass male or female.
more like brave arse!
Milunka Savić 1892-1973,was a Serbian heroine of the Balkan wars and First World War...
The lady looks like Floor Jansen whose husband is the drummer for Sabaton.
I think they might have come across Milunka's story while researching the "Heroes" album
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
A wonderful christmas song.

Do not put it off until tomorrow, so that later you do not regret the lost time.
*salutes to Mulunka*
Greeting from Serbia and yes it's a true story
she was a BAD ASS
yeaaa, you got hold on the english, fucking good work !! best regards from sweden !!
She died at 85 if you consider her birth at 1888 or 81 if it was on 1892
Milunka Savic medals
Order of the Star of Karađorđe with Swords (twice)
Miloš Obilić medal
Cross of St. George
Légion d’Honneur (twice)
Croix de Guerre with gold palm
Order of St Michael
Thanks for reacting. (Even though you already reacted to the same song)
Some suggestions, not sure what you seen already, but you should check out 'En livstid i krig' live from the Great Tour in Gothenburg. Its in Swedish but use the subs. Another good song if somewhat older is 'Ghostdivision' live from the polish Woodstock back in 2012. So much energy.
We just wanted the ladies to see the animated story video since they are Serbian.
@@andrewludwig9251 Yea, I did the same 🙂
Copied from other reactors page ""In 1914, in the early days of World War I, Savić was awarded her first Karađorđe Star with Swords after the Battle of Kolubara. She received her second Karađorđe Star (with Swords) after the Battle of the Crna Bend in 1916 when she captured 23 Bulgarian soldiers single-handedly.
She was awarded the French Légion d’Honneur (Legion of Honour) twice, as well as the Russian Cross of St. George, the British medal of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael, and the Serbian Miloš Obilić medal. She was the sole female recipient of the French Croix de Guerre 1914-1918 with the gold palm attribute for service in World War""
Hermosa reaccion estoy aprendiendo ingles por eso miro reacciones de mis bandas favoritas en ingles saludos desde Uruguay!

Par predaje zastavu Milunki: "za Srbiju"🖤
That’s inspiring !
She died in her 85
Thank you for the pronounciations. That was cool.
We need a cod game with her in it
That would be cool, it may get me to play COD again.
Her story is even more awesome than this video. It is sad she died penniless.
Thank you ladies for sharing Serbian history! I'm proud to say I've third-generation American/Serbian ancestry! We don't get these historical European perspectives in the education system in North America, mostly American historical figures that's directly related to WW1-WW11 history. I was a U.S veteran history teacher (1990-2010) in an American military school at "California Military Institute" located in Perris Camp San Luis Obispo, Riverside County (Perris Union High School). I'd a few male and female students with American/Serbian ancestry whose familes immigrated from Novi Pazar, Požarevac, and Novi Sad. One referenced her name to my unknown knowledge. I was inspired to learn American/Serbian ancestry history. There were about 190,000 American citizens who identified as having Serb ancestry. Serbians to the United States were mostly young men without wives or children. They came with some relatives or friends revisiting their old homes. America and Serbia were allies during WWI-WWII, expressed their support and sympathy for the Serbian people from the very beginning, enormous financial support and thousands of humanitarian aid were provided to the Serbian people from America. Yugoslavia was created under the influence of 'Fourteen Points' by U.S President Woodrow Wilson and America was the first nation to diplomatically recognize Yugoslavia. America was heavily involved in defining the borders for the new 'Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes'. Respect brothers & sisters Jim xx
If they helped créate Yugoslavia, why did they destroy it later? Why did they ilegaly bombed their allies from the great war in the 90's? Why are they trying to take Kosovo away?
@@boya7262 The Balkans have the best history in my opinion.
People talk about war crimes and such forgetting what UK, France, Italy and Germany (literally birthed fascism and Nazism), Japan, China, Korea, India, USA (built upon genocide of natives) did.
Balkans are just so amazing when you see at how small they are and what fierce characters were birthed there.
I was even surprised when I read that 17 Roman emperors were born in what today is Serbia. Amazing.
Great song and interesting reaction) I'm very interested what you say about song of Radio Tapok - Операция союзная сила.
Respect from Russia!
Siete Bellissime 🤩🤩

Niste dostojne
As formidable as she was as a fighter, she actually preferred taking prisoners, rather than killing her enemies. She had a very favorable reputation and respect from he enemies because of that. Years sfter the war, one of the Austrian Soldiers she captured sent his son to her. His son planned to go to a military academy and the father wanted her to teach his son on how to be a proper soldier before he attended.
