"Kaputt" means broken, not working anymore if youre talking about a thing, but also wasted, done or totaly exhausted as a personal condition. Like "the Machine is broken- die Maschine ist kaputt" but also "im so done - ich bin so kaputt" after a long work day

Kaputt in german means no more, dead, destroyed, something that can't be restored or fixed. But then it came into the English meaning wrecked, ruined.

"Born a soldier from the horseback to the skies". Is a nice detail. Also fun fact the 3rd wings were added to make his plane slower and as a result more maneuverable. This gave him a huge advantages in dogfighting but made him more vulnerable to AA, which was his demise.
Exactly. The Fokker Dr1 Triplane was said to be one of the hardest aircraft in history to fly. At all times you had to have your hands on the control stick and feet on the controls... it was extremely temperamental and finicky. Many have likened it to a thoroughbred racehorse.
The fact that the Red Baron was able to tame this craft speaks highly of his talents.

Great reaction, Sabaton got so many great songs. And this is a great way to learn history by listening to Sabaton. You should definetivly check out Tommy Johansson, (Sabatons guitarist). The man scored 80 kills (that we know of for sure) during his career, which in itself is insane when you consider how new aerial combat was. Erich Hartmann got 352 though, in case you were wondering what Ace has the most kills in history. Not during WW1 though, so the tech of his time was much much farther along.
In all honesty Manfred probably had around 100-107 kills

I love the work YarnHub do. They keep getting better, but I really love the old version of the red baron too. If I have to choose between them, I would take this one as my favorite.

Listening to Sabaton is a history lesson! As a kid I didn't like history in school, only later I realized knowing history is very important in order to understand the present.
If history teachers played Sabaton to kids in school, they would probably become more interested. And, as added bonus, some musical education along the way.
7:23 Fokker. Anton Fokker was a Dutch aircraft designer, who worked for the Germans. The triplane, a Fokker Dr.I, was arguably his most famous design.
The Red Baron was Snoopy's (Peanuts) enemy.... and yes it was the same Red Baron being referred to. Snoopy used to pretend he was a WW1 Flying Ace. He pretended his doghouse was a Sopwith Camel (a plane referred to in the song) and the Red Baron was his arch enemy.
Anyone who says Snoopy vs. Red Baron isn’t a cool song can kiss my Polish ass. Christmas Bells is just as cool.

I'm not entirelly sure about German, but in Swedish the word kaputt has the same meaning, but not as serious as the word for broken. It has like a tiny bit of humour in it

Kaputt we translat to broken. But i think its unrepairable, dead is in a maschine is kaputt.
While I do love Sabaton's animated stories, this is the one song of theirs that enjoy the other video better. Not that this is bad video, but the "regular" video is just awesome in my opinion.
