Another brilliant episode! RRC you are a total inspiration to me and so many other people who follow your videos, organised, systematic, sure and steady on every project. The channel really stands out for the quality of it's content. Well done! Keep them coming!
Your voice and accent are awesome, so gentle and reassuring. If you were my friend, I would feel guilty if I ever had to yell at you lol! Oh yeah, another awesome upload!
I know sod all about cars/engines/mechanics but I love watching these vids - your breadth of knowledge is fantastic and the attention to detail and high standards of workmanship really chime with me.
Simply put, this the best, inspirational channel I watch. I really like that there is no stupid music in the background and the minimal commentary is perfect. Very well done. Don't change a thing,
Absolutely superb proper restoration work lovely to watch, the back plate was very impressive, as usual a great series, looking forward to more instalments and a plating video, thanks for taking the time to make these, top bloke 👍👍👍👍
Can't believe you went to the level of guide coating the brake backplate. That's paying attention to details. Can't wait to see this Big Red back together again.
Another excellent video with great attention to detail. Your filming and editing, which must have taken ages, is also to be complimented. Thanks for posting such interesting content.
Thoughts: Very professional restoration, all pieces / parts addressed in sequential order of build process , nice tack welds on the backing plate / mounting bracket...The crimped lip on the plate added a lot of strength, the home made crimping tool shows that you do think outside the box (Didn't expect any less from RRC) There is no doubt in my mind that the end result will be flawless. Great work and a pleasure as always to watch you work👍👍👍 Cheers from Canada
Another great Video. Thanks. You may want to get yourself a small vice for the drill press or maybe even use a piece of wood as a backing piece while drilling through flat plate. So much easier and safer. It stops the metal from flexing and it will give you something more substantial to hold onto. If the drill sticks in a flat plate it can cause the plate to spin around and act as a finger slicer!
Found this channel by these atc videos. These are awesome! The old videos... well they really lack a lot cos there is no narrative. Def. gona follow so keep them coming.
Lovely work my friend. I've been banging on for ages about an in depth tutorial covering your zinc plating process. Very happy you have succumbed and decided to do one. 😀
I was watching the zinc plating part of your vid' and when you said that you would do a detailed vid' of the plating process I was stunned because I was going to comment suggesting you do just that. You must have known exactly what I was "zincing".......... I'll get my coat. 😊 I look forward to seeing the trike back on the road and that video.
Watched a shed load of plating tutorials on YT but I’m holding off my first forays until you post, so please, I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s really looking forwards to your expertise. Always quality and no shit music, winning formula.
Brilliant, man. You are an inspiration showing a hefty project broken down into manageable components for restoration. Production/video is great as ever too, it's as if you have three people with three cameras going on LOL
Amazing, can't wait for next episode thanks for sharing...I wish I had a friend or neighbor or uncle who have the same skill and passion like you to teach me how to do things
I notice you're really good about getting out what's needed and putting it away again. I look forward to your plating video and if you can address storage, that'd be very useful. Thanks for the content you produce, always entertaining and informative!

It makes me remember my "hunt the piston-rings experience on a Honda 90 when was 18. I made a stupid timing mistake & bent a valve.
