Hey Guys, As you have probably noticed already i have updated the channel name and logo. The channel is no longer Really Random Channel it is now RRC Restoration. Just incase you were wondering why the water marks in the video still say Really Random Channel. Enjoy.
As a young fella I had a 1981 ATC 110 but it got sold off. A few years ago I managed to get hold of another as part of reliving my childhood. Recently pulled it all down and am now spending up big on replacement parts when I can find them. I can't wait to see your reassembly so I can follow suit - the 90 is very similar. So glad you're doing this as there are no good detail clips around until now.
Absolutely love this kind of restoration....small enough to be manageable, but large enough to cover a wide range of necessary skills. I really enjoy watching these projects.
This should be lots of fun. The dissambly was interesting but the cleanup and restoration of all the parts is what i'm waiting on. So much sandblasting and polishing to do.
thank you sir, i have not seen one of these for about 30 years, my cousin had 2 of them for getting around his farmland in the Shetland Isles. They were great fun to ride, surprisingly nippy. Stay safe and healthy flower.
You beauty! Happy memories indeed for me with this. I'd have sold my granny to own one myself back in the early 80's. Really Random channel delivers once again!
Great video, I've watched most of your back catalogue but somehow missed this one. It's a very cool vehicle, cant wait to see it go through the process.
I remember seeing these in James Bond "Diamonds Are Forever" in the theater ..as a kid I wanted one bad......look forward to this being all shiny and showroom fresh again!
@@_allegra Very True...I recall the "Moon Rover" Bond initially escaped in crashed during filming. You can see one of it's wheels roll by in one shot. The chase in Downtown Las Vegas is much better.
Funny you should mention diamonds are forever as i did think about turning this one into a replica of the movie trikes but then i thought the original red looks way better. I also love that scene where the moon rover wheel rolls into shot haha!
Дружище желаю тебе удачи. Ты просто молодец. Мой совет, когда соберёшь трицикл, сделай на двигатель защиту от грязи, иначе он долго не проживет. Жду с нетерпением, когда закончишь работу 👍
Can’t wait!! I love it...nice job grinding those welds down and removing the parts undamaged. Those can be a pain! I know this will be awesome! You’re the man!
Awesome!!! - One of the famos vehicles James Bond uses in „Diamonds are forever“ from 1971. I‘m looking forward to this enormous rust and paintjob. I already love it.
What a nice project, that motorcycle is beautiful, I already want to see it finished and this is just beginning. A fantastic project. Congratulations ..👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Ashford Chroming in Kent. They have a very good reputation because they specialize in Motorcycle Chroming. You may find them a bit pricey though, but they do a thorough job completely restoring the parts like new. The only other root is to go OEM. I get my parts from MSP EU they may still have the parts for that trike. Hope this helps. I follow all your video's and love every one as i have Three Motorcycle under restoration. You do fantastic work, thanks for sharing it.
A friend of mine had one of these. One day his mom decided she wanted to ride it. It turned over on her and she broke her arm. His dad sold it soon after that! Looking forward to the build. I am sure it will be really nice when finished!
My first experience operating a motorbike was the trike... I don't recall taking a tumble on it but then again, maybe I have brain damage & that's the reason I don't remember .... either way, excited to see this rebuild. Thx for the videos!!!
I have a 1980 ATC 110 I rescued from a salvage yard about 3 weeks ago, I actually pulled it off a dump trailer with a a bunch of garbage that would have buried it or damaged it even more. It’s about 95% complete, going to do a full restoration on it, if I can afford it. I couldn’t let this thing get crushed. Wish me luck!
Enjoyed a lot watching this. Just waiting for the next episode!!! I find a huge amount of inspiration here. is definitely You my friend, the kind of person I aim to be
Looking forwards to this restoration, one down, more to go, only a year late lol! Little or no grease left anywhere on that ATC, soon sort that out i think! From Sue's husband, Buckie, North East Scotland.
Good to see these old trikes are still around, if I remember the late Rik Mayall had a bit of a tumble with his a few years back, nearly killed him then. There’s still a few out there in the UK that are still chroming used a company in Birmingham just before the lockdown. If you ever get stuck with parts for this trike! There’s a company in Holland called csmnl.com used them extensively when I restored my Honda CB500 Four reasonable prices and turn around very good with advice and genuine or alternative parts. Looking forward to the next part. Nice one 👍
Wrench Monkey You’re probably right, it was a docu type programme about his life etc and it had shown a vehicle very similar to which he had fallen off. Apologies for that.
@@hamishmacbeth4292 There's absolutely no need to apologies for that mate, I wasn't even sure myself so I had to look it up on Wikipedia - after all, it was 22 years ago. :)

Would you be interested in another 1978 with title?
I had a 1977 ATC90. My father bought new for my brothers and I in 1978. Watching you tear in down brings back memories, everything looks so familiar.
This is the best rebuild channel ever.
High praise indeed :) Thank you
Something therapeutic about watching these videos!

Can't wait for part 2. You are one clever guy and your attention to detail is second to none.

You don't choose easy projects
I didn't even skip 10 seconds
Your work inspired me to my youtube channel.
I am waiting for the continuation.
I dearly hope after all of that teardown, sandblasting and removal of rust is next. Nice little project. Thanks for sharing.
Yup ALOT of sandblasting and rust removal coming next episode ;)
I just have to re watch this one more time, your videos are pure art.
This should be lots of fun. The dissambly was interesting but the cleanup and restoration of all the parts is what i'm waiting on. So much sandblasting and polishing to do.
Congratulations, seen your video I revival my child repairing my ATC 90.
Great Proyect your restoration amaizing
I watched this video at twice the speed, it was awesome and I could still understand what you said. I love this channel!
Awesome! Thank you :)
Good luck with getting the parts chromed. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you and thanks for watching :)
My girlfriend's dad had one of these on his croft in the Highlands back in the 80s. Had some great fun riding that at the time. :)
Nice, I must say im a tad jealous i'd love to scoot around the highlands on an ATC :)
3 wheelers are awesome they never should have stopped making them regardless of how many lawsuits.
Man! Those sixteen minutes and fortyfive seconds have passed really fast for me!! I can't wait for part 2!!!
thank you sir, i have not seen one of these for about 30 years, my cousin had 2 of them for getting around his farmland in the Shetland Isles. They were great fun to ride, surprisingly nippy. Stay safe and healthy flower.
Great, leave us with suspense! 1978 huh?! Crazy. That is when I was born. I feel like my chrome has seen better days too!
You beauty! Happy memories indeed for me with this. I'd have sold my granny to own one myself back in the early 80's.
Really Random channel delivers once again!
Long time no see ;) Im so glad you're happy to see an ATC on the channel lots of nostalgia surrounding these death traps haha.
I didn't even have to watch the video to hit like. The Honda ATC 185S was the first thing I ever restored, after I retired from the Army.
Thanks for the like i really do appreciate it :)
Great video, I've watched most of your back catalogue but somehow missed this one. It's a very cool vehicle, cant wait to see it go through the process.
I haven’t visited the shop ( channel) in awhile. You’ve got a big project here. Looking forward to the finish 👏👏
Excited for the resto. Don't make us wait too long for part 2!
Im working as fast as i can on part 2 ;)
I really love the fact that you always know what to do and always use the right tool. Can’t wait for part 2!
Thank you so much :)
Fab work, fab vid - better production and camera angling than most static video logs out there
Thank you very much for your kind comment :)
can't wait for the next episode..it will be an epic restoration.
I remember seeing these in James Bond "Diamonds Are Forever" in the theater ..as a kid I wanted one bad......look forward to this being all shiny and showroom fresh again!
It's a classic bike, but that's possibly the worst 'chase' in the Bond franchise lol

Finally back from hibernation and its motorcycle restoration, couldn't get any better 👍

I never expected this! This is going be an epic rebuild 🙂
Thanks, Glad to have you along for the ride :)
Enjoying this. They are a pretty simple construction, aren't they?
Glad you're enjoying the project so far :) Yeah they are a very simple machine but a pain to restore due to the lack of available parts in the UK :(
Got me by surprise on this one. Can’t wait for the next videos!

Nice one. Keep up the good work. My guess is a spray booth behind the door. 🤟🤘
That's exactly what i'm thinking 👍😎🏍
Thank you :) Its actually my spray booth that i film in just now because of the good lighting so im afraid you'll have to guess again ;)
Can't wait to see how this turns out. Had one of these when I was a kid.

Thanks for the info, I actually ordered a lot of parts from csmnl for my TL125 restoration really good selection of parts.
I seem to remember Rik Mayall's accident back in the late 90s was on a quad bike not a trike, but I could be wrong, but yeah it nearly killed him.
