What other band has this high quality a keyboardist? Eddie is not only technically proficient, but incredibly creative. And adds a dimension that makes the Enz unique and more artistic.
As a pretty good jazz pianist who has played with some famous musicians I take my hat off to him. I love listening to the Enz and I will always feel some envy for Eddie, but I could never come up with all of his many creative ideas. I can see why McCartney recruited him to record with him on the “Press to Play” album in ‘86. Eddie you are one fantastic musician!

Eddie is incredibly talented. Mental Notes (the Phil Manzanera production) is one of my favorites. I love Eddie's work on that album.

Split Enz bass player is a far too well kept secret. Regardless of the sound quality this is a piece of history for us Enzthusiasts (geddit?) My brother loved this band and wore a hat very similar to the one Tim started the concert wearing. Thank you for posting this.

Split Endz really should have been international household names. But they really were revered as brilliant back in NYC by both critics & fans of great emerging music. Without taking anything away from the rest, ...God, how prolific is Neil Finn? And what sensitive, intelligent lyrics, varied styles ... & those melodies!!! Bravo to these fellas 45 Years Later. Thank you for sharing this gold dust.

I saw this tour when I was 12 in Royal Oak, MI! I was so infatuated with Neil and Tim Finn 🥰❤️ I believe this is exactly what they were wearing at the concert I was at. Caught Neil’s towel and still have it 😂. This performance must be right before or after the one I saw. June 12, 1982

I did a road trip from Austin to Tulsa just because they had a copy of this tape in in a Blockbuster in 1984! Internet is quicker, but I would do it again 😁

I first saw them in 1972 before they got into art rock & when they toured as an Art Rock Act in 1974 ? I was blown away. They made it into the big time by moving to Au.
