- My ELD went down . So I had to resort to Paperlogs ! YOU NEED PAPERLOGS AT ALL TIMES GUYS
Fun Fact : If the rule survives a legal challenge, commercial truck and bus drivers currently required to record their duty hours must start using compliant ELDs by December 2017. The rule exempts short-haul drivers who use time cards. Drivers of vehicles made before 2000 can continue to use paper logbooks.

Love the Videos! Looking at getting into Hot Shotting. Should I start with a dually, or should I get a SRW truck and trailer combo just to get the ball rolling? Obviously everyone has their opinions, and I know if im successful i can always upgrade but i fear I'll be held back by the amount I can haul. Unless theres not a massive difference between duallys and SRW until you hit much larger loads. Any insight is helpful!

Should have triple redundancy….tri-factor are normally a good rule of thumb…
It's a problem when they switch over to digital logs and people are having problems with them

NOOOOOO paper logs for me..I use the BIG ROAD app and have been for 5 years. It provides the required info just like paper logs, but its 1000% better!

I would only use paper logs.
Could be wrong but I think the truck has to be older than 2000 to avoid electronic logs

You have to use electronic logs if the truck is I think made after 1996 I could be wrong on the yr tho but yea u hv to use them and you hv to always hv paper logs in your truck just incase ELD goes out.. but even if your ELD are working you still "by law" hv to hv your paper logs in your truck at all times.. but I agree I wished we could just use paper logs all the time.. but it is what it is..🤷♂️😁
