Laphroaig Càirdeas Port & Wine Cask Review

The 2020 annual release for the Friends of Laphroaig features the classic 10 year after being rested in Ruby Port 'barriques' and double aged in ex-bourbon and wine casks. The lads compare to the standard 10 year and discuss 'nipulature'.

That could be a good Tribe episode. Take an entry scotch, i.e. Ardbeg 10, add a drop of sherry and see how close it is to Uigeadail, or as Rex says Og-DOLL.

Love the channel! People don't talk about nipplelature enough. Maybe this would be better on Tribe but I would love to see an episode with tasting notes of the different things used in finishing, such as the different madeiras, ports, wines, cognacs, rums, and beer. I'm not going to do it but would love to learn more.
