I like your cable management but I'm seeing some things I would have done differently. -For starters, when I'm doing a serious cable management I prefer removing everything off the desk and make a fresh start. This way you could have flipped the desk board upside down and properly aligned the cable racks you put underneath before you screw them in. Also, is easier to avoid tangled cables if you start from scratch. If a cable is very long you can coil apart the extra length with some velcro ties to reduce the cable mess. Normally I prefer to start by placing the power cables first, since they go to the power strip and the rest of the cables usually go to the PC and this way I can better structure where the cables go. - Not a fan of plastic zip ties, velcro ties all the way. They are a must have. - The problem with double sided tape is not if they are going to fall, the question is when, because they will eventually fall. Those small black pieces from the cable management kit come with very bad tape and are a pain in the ass. The rubbery ones falls constantly and the clip ones broke very easy. My favorite thing to clip cables under the desk are adjustable cable ties that you can stick to the desk but have a hole if you one to put a little screw and fix them for good. Like these: es.aliexpress.com/item/1005003717095442.html - You could have used a white mesh cover to hide the monitor cables and avoid sticking anything to the wall. It will crack the paint if you remove it. Another option, since the monitors are very close together, I would run the cables from the center monitor to the right monitor and run the cables along the camera arm. In that case maybe you'll need longer cables but the outcome would be very clean.
Maybe I'm just too OCD, but to me hiding everything is not cable management. The mess behind the Alex Drawers would stress me the eff out. My cables are neat everywhere, whether you can see them or not, which also makes it not an absolute nightmare to remove one thing when needed.
@@eternalgoat265 not the point? It didn’t say anything about visibility. It said it was hard to take off the adhesive if you wanted to do something else. So the best alternative is remove the material for a hole in that spot instead
Yeah this guide only works in 2023 and 2024, any other year like 2022 or 2025 you’d be screwed. 💀😂 I was referring to this with my comment, calm down. ruclips.net/user/clipUgkxkvII5hsATfrTKSBQ4RfNWT7PFj4pA2h9?feature=shared
He said “best” cable management guide, there might be better cable management guides in 2025 and the products he used in the video might not be available before 2023. Ever thought about that? Before making a hate comment, make sure you think of it thoroughly. Would like to hear your response!
@@Isaac-w1j3s That wasn’t a hate comment I was just being silly. But if there was an improved version then you’d just unlist the video and put out a new one. Just the year per of the title just seams silly. :) TLDR I was more making a joke about how it was worded not the actual meaning of it. 🤣
My first time cable “managing” after building my first pc I quite literally used packing tape and zip ties, which was indeed a pain in the ass to undo when I was moving into my own apartment. It’s been almost a year since I moved and I still haven’t cable managed again, guess I’m just gonna wait for when I build my next pc next month
Cable management is easy. The tools and items used are expensive. My table has a back plate, leaving just half inch of table top on the back, which means most of the cable management tools and tips are useless to me.
My frustration is finding a tray that can be mounted BEHIND the desk. My new desks are small and have a back panel so the back of the desk is a flat surface. I'm looking for a 24-32" x 4" tray to hold everything that is mounted to the vertical plane. Everything I find is mounted to the bottom of the table top,the horizontal plane, and that doesn't work for me. Any ideas?
Bro I don't understand what happened to your cuts/edits. Craziest thing I've seen in a while. And why are you just holding that lapel mic? Clip it to your shirt! Production of your video could be 2-3x better if you'd just take some time. Thanks for the tips but I feel like you could step it up so I had to say something.
This was more like how to hide your cables than real cable management. I think the track on the wall was the only actually management. Hiding the cables is only part of the job, they should also be neat too imo
hi i want to print gaming wallpaper what method for printing I must use ( digital-uv- or....) and what kind of paper I must use ( glass PVC or... ) please help me
Does anybody know how people get those cool fonts on their wallpaper where it shows the date? I see them a lot on GutzyAiden's videos but I don't know how to add them. If anybody knows, please tell me.
The "best" cable management guide? Really? Sorry - but the "best" cable management guide would take you through all the popular cable management equipment available and what to use in what situation. "I haven't done any management in 2 years" so how are you qualified to even suggest your guide is the "best"? Then you take us through what you bought - "i got some cable management things" - "i got some more cable management things". Pathetic and useless. Be better!
I use 3M Command strips to mount pictures w/out drilling holes - and to route cables on my desktop. No drilling holes, easy to move and reuse.
Agree that cable management can be simple and tidy or as complex as you wish.
Great video Aiden 👍🏼👍🏼
thank you so much!
I just have my pc and monitor so this new video will help me.

So easy to have good cable management but SOOO much easier to just plug shit in and rock out

I'd bet my next paycheck (if you're a Honda guy) your car has a mil-spec fully tucked wire harness 😂😂😂
Goo gone and a hair drier or heat gun only on low is the best for removing sticky tape residue and a bunch of other sticky messes ❤
Let's go aiden W vid
Always love watching your video's thx for showing me how to properly cable manage my setup.
“Leaves reside super hard to get off. So instead drill holes that are even harder to revert 👍”
it is under the desk so people wont normally see the holes unless they actually look for them
abit of puddy and sand it by hand is way quicker
@rickysmith6930 It takes about 15 seconds to get mounting tape residue off with some adhesive remover

thank you sir for this guide, i sill dont have a pc, but its in the work :D and this gave me idea for my future setup
I believe using a docking station is a good method of cable management.
editing mistake on 2:50-2:54 lol , loved the vid
2:49 how did this even happen
thankgod it wasnt only me that heard it lol thought i was going crazy lol

@dschooo surely they would have watched it over in post before exporting and uploading 🤷♂️ you know.. to make sure things like this Don't happen 😅

Love the part where you managed all the cables
hey gutzy! i’m gonna get one of your mousepads soon. great company!!

I have backplate also, should I just shove everything in?
That's what I did. Just put something there and on top of that one or two cable boxes so that they reach up to the backplate.
that's just as much management as hiding a bunch of rubbish in a cupboard is
not tryna be cocky or anything but imo i think that the big monitorwould look better on the bottom and the smaller monitor, centred in the top
i agree
Great video man u really helped me cable manage my setup
ty for inspire me man
I just put that thingy u can put multiple cords behind my monitor then it’s easy

What’s the thing at the start for the monitor cords
DC2 shirt let's goooo
Cable management is a nightmare for me because I have a glass desk lmao
Take a shot every time he says cable management
Nice vid!
I got an idea, why not just buy an all wireless accessories like headphone, mic, keyboard, and etc the only thing left is the pc and monitor wire
Where did you get the desk??
hi i want to print gaming wallpaper what method for printing I must use ( digital-uv- or....) and what kind of paper I must use ( glass PVC or... ) please help me

What kind of desk is that
it's made out of a counter top from ikea that is normally used for kitchens and two Alex drawer units

ikea
are you new?
Butcher block top
IKEA Alex drawers on each side
Hi
Anyone know a simple product like in the video but not one that screws in? I have a cheap 100$ desk that I cannot drill through
double sided tape
I have cables running sideways on my wall

wanna come over n do mine?
Top tip wd40 takes glue off with ease.
Just use zip ties
That’s some pretty sloppy cable management. This should be called “stuff and hide messy cables”… But, thanks for the ideas anyway.
He has 2 pcs😮
can i have your pc?
lol
2:49 wtf??
yooo gutzy plzz reply to my comment it would make my day and i love your content
