It's the kind of jack Iphones USED to have for the ear buds.. if you're unfamiliar with the 3.5mm or 1/8" size/jacks. I can plug this into my Xbox One S wireless controller for example and it works fine .. I do not have a PS4.
You can. However people with the same headsets complain and brag about hearing or not being able to hear footsteps of enemies. There are more variables to be honest. Ermm.. so many possible reasons your headphones aren't 'emitting sound' I don't know where to being. Try them in another computer/phone / device to ensure they work. Make sure the volume knob is not turned down on the cord. If they don't work in another device then return them.

My Head phones wont emmit sound anymore i had it for a few days dont know if its the wire stuck or something please welp me

10.6 Ounces ,.. Which is just a bit over half a pound. They are light.
ah ok. I se these, but i have seen a dent inmy head right where i wear them. I wear them at least 4-6 hours day
