  • Two door manual sports cars are quickly going away, especially when you don't want to spend a ton of money. I really enjoyed my time with my Mustang GT, however there were aspects of the driving experience that I just couldn't forgive.
Follow along this week as we take a trip to the west coast in order to pick up my very own OG BMW M2.

Thanks to everyone for sticking around for 100k subscribers! I took some time off but expect more videos coming your way in the future. See you out there ✌

  • @danielg3734

Congrats on the m2. Have enjoyed your videos for a long time and you have cycled through two cars I still own - was interesting to hear your perspective. Looking forward to future videos.

Looking forward to all the content to come , especially with the m2. Your original m235i video was a big reason why I bought my 2014 m235i and I still have it to this day! Great car.

This video hits pretty close to home for me - I also went from an S550 Mustang GT (2017) to an OG M2 (2017), both 6MT. immensely enjoyed my time with the M2, still miss it now and would love to own another one.

Perfect car! About 4 years ago I rented on Turo a White 2018 M2 with a 6 speed and I still think about that trip! Took it through all the canyons in Malibu and along the coast. Instantly felt like I had driven it my whole life. Just the right size. Just a slight press on the gas and the back end would kick out through the curves, and then correct its self. So much fun. By far the funniest day of my life in a car. Searched for 2 years for a 2018 M2 Laguna blue with a sunroof, 6 speed and low miles…..Nada. Gave up and bought a 2021 Supra which I love but it’s an auto….still fun but nothing like the M2.

I've been looking at these online. Looking forward to your full review!

Found your video (and channel) through the Bimmerpost forum. Loving the music choice ~@

  • @diegohooker

Love your new car purchase videos. Congrats on the M2!

  • @AGMella

Congrats on the OG M2! Just bought a manual one too back in March! Super fun daily!

  • @kkeshav74

OG M2 is my dream car. Love the N55.

  • @slipstream182

Hey man, thank you for the content. Find it very enjoyable. Out of curiosity, and if you don’t mind being asked, how much do you loose on average, if at all, every time you switch to a new ride? Also, do you still own the GT4?

  • @eldontsoi

great justification... look forward to more m2 content!

  • @seandebottis3276

Wondered where you went, love the channel, hope life is going well. Colorado is beautiful. Would love to spend some time there

  • @stevec9704

Great video and way better choice of car! Love the alpine white over black, really a classic Beemer combo. I love those years M2’s as they really bridge the gap between new design and BMWs roots, nothing like it. As a fanboy I like your choice. Enjoy it.

  • @whitefoxcoupe2024

Every time you get a new car I feel like I get one lol. Love the channel congrats.

  • @aroundomaha

Cool update, and congrats on the M2 and 100k. I've been wondering about my 22 BRZ since Subaru has waffled in standing behind it's 2.4-litre engine. It is making me ponder cars I'm curious about like the MR2 Spyder or an early Boxster S that has had the IMS replaced. I'm looking forward to seeing the M2 journey.

Hey great to see you back. I was looking at those M2s…I really like them, for all the reasons you went through. I have an X5 with that N55 - I love that engine. Also, I do think that era BMW dash is really really good. I have a ‘14 BMW and a ‘21, and I like the dash of the ‘14 more. Great purchase and rock on!

  • @FMOSRacing

I chose a MT '21 M2C over the Mustang and Camaro primarily because of the interior, the outward view, and the need for an actually usable back seat. I miss the V8 sound constantly, but the turbo 6 torque is no joke. I'll just deal with the exhaust sound, no significant regrets. Like you, I love the overall size of the M2, and how small it feels.

  • @josephcassiba8328

M2 is one of my favorite cars I have ever driven. I’m considering selling my Honda S200 to buy one. Love the S but need something more practical but still fun and special feeling.

The N55 in the M2 is an N55+, it is different from a regular N55 and not just a tune. Some forged internals, oil cooling, etc. BMW basically took the 2 series racing engine variant and put that in the M2.
