Same. My doctor did a blood panel because of mine 💀 Too be fair I had multiple deficiencies. I had to go on quite a few vitamins and new meds. I eventually received new diagnosis (I had multiple autoimmune already) Potassium & VitD was so low I had to get an IV. My GP believing something untrue Really helped me out I guess!
Actually, in my case it really was zinc deficiency. I didn’t get any trauma to the nails. As soon as I started taking appropriate supplements and adjusted my nutrition, the white spots went away. I’ve had this problem practically all my life and the deficiency is just how I am.
oh yeah i've always had multiple of these on my nails at any given time. i've been biting my nails for as long as i can remember and at this point i don't think i will ever stop.
I got mine for no reason, no impact to the nail it’s just there. It looks cute tho, two perfectly round dots. Btw does anyone know anything about purple nails? Mine are bluish purple and sometimes get darker
My toe nails were bluish purple after wearing tight shoes and Both of my toe nails literally ripped apart a year ago and I had to wait a whole year to grow them again… I think your nails are getting an infection, maybe try asking a doctor
It’s funny, because you said that in one of your videos about the white in your nails, being a sign of zinc deficiency. But I’m glad you’re corrected yourself now Doctor
As a Nigerian, the ONLY way I believe this forms is by waving my fingers at seagulls and singing, "Leke Leke, give me five fingers". Then if you want them gone, you sing to them, "Leke, Leke. Remove my five fingers." It works! - like a gem! 😂✨
Yeah, nails do tell about health. He didn't tell the all thing. when white spots appears only 1-2 nails, means you just hit something. But when it appears 4-5 fingers or all it means you have health issues.
When I was a kid, my mom used to told me sweet story about those white thing on nails. Its a white flower that have grown to your nail and it means soon you'll get new dresses or gifts. To be honest it was actually true❤😢miss u mom
Ermmmm my nails have white spots due to both my Vitamin D and Iron deficiency, and when I took my supplements they seem to go away permanently. So I am a bit confused……….
I got this white spot after taking off my acrylic canal and I didn’t know what it was until I googled it and it wasn’t even that bad. It actually went away within a few days.
I had white spots on my nails for my entire childhood up to my 20's and I ate crappy, processed, high carb, high sugar foods the whole time. I cleaned up my diet and they went away. I recently went through some depression that led me to eating crappy food for a solid month and the spots are back. So you could be right, white spots could be damage to the nail. But there's DEFINITELY truth in the fact that they also are signs of nutrient deficiency.
My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
i used to never bite my nails and thought it was disgusting and my friend told me she but her nails so i wanted to try it now i can’t stop biting my nails 24/7 helpp 😭
Oh that makes sense. When the clear fingernail gets damaged it gets opaque. So there is white spots. I have seen plastic do this too. I don't know why.
Also, fun fact with misdiagnosis like this, I had a Dr tell me I was developing fat. He ignored all my signs and symptoms. Took his time getting me tests. Left me suffering in pain for over a year. Got a new Dr recently. She immediately put me through tests and diagnosed my "fat" as ovarian cysts. The pain and swelling over 1 year+? Cysts forming and bursting from stress. My right ovary is covered. Another fun fact, I have to text to make sure they aren't cancerous due to cancer being genetic.
I dropped my whole dang bed on my nails so im sure ill get these. Also, ive had this strange black-ish line going through my thumbnail for god knows how long. It doesnt "grow out" its been there for way longer than it should take to grow. Never hurts. Its just there.
Uk i discovered this when i was in karate classes. Whenever i hit my hand (the back side ), it caused these white spots . After that just to try it once more ,to test it, i hut my nail hard on the corner of the bench ,and it worked (it did hurt but anything for science !)
Man I need to stop biting my nails but I've tried everything, I even started subconsciously enjoying the taste of that foul anti-biting nail polish. I'm gonna have these white spots forever...
actually though, last year i was really unhealthy in eating and i has a lot of white spots on my nails, after that i started to stop eating processed foods and really sweet foods and they disappeared. idk why but when i started eating a bit more unhealthy, they came back. also i don’t recall injuring my nails AT ALL and there are white spots all over my nails and i definitely have not injured it before so in my case i really think its nutrition wise.
This is convenient because these just appeared on one of my fingers, and I couldn't figure out why. I do remember a couple of weeks back I dropped a weight on that finger, though, so that could explain why.
this a lie I’m a doctor from osu and this is not possible if it was everyone would be at the hospital it’s just a damaged nail on that specific part where u hit it
Unfortunate news, these have been with me for my whole entire life
there are 3 more reasons
1 of them is regular use of nail polish.

Yes but I sneak out at night to snack on your leftovers and I like to chew on your nails while you're asleep so that's probably why.
