Good guy he is honest knows what he's doing I have the same jeep he replaced my AC condenser and recharge my AC and I had ticking in the engine and even cam shaft needed to be replaced it took about 3 days to repair everything I have no problems now I would recommend this shop you won't be disappointed
Thank you so much. I appreciate your business and you comment. God bless.
This is best video on RUclips explaining this process
Good video. I used this as a guide for rad replacement. Could not find a good video on that, but this worked. Thanks for mentioning the bleeder screw for the cooling system.
Great video. Thanks very much for taking the time to record it and upload it. This will save me some trouble/money for sure. 👍🏼
Thank you for watching and I do appreciate your comment and feedback. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
2015 Jeep Compass 2.0….when I turn on the AC, the compressor makes loud knocking noises but still cools. So, I figure the compressor needs replaced. There are no AC leaks or transmission fluid leaks. Would you replace the condenser, dryer, expansion valve, and ect while everything is apart and convenient or just replace the compressor? I want to do the job right the first time, if possible….and just wondering what your thoughts are on this.
Great video Thank you
Great video!
Taking the whole bumper off is so much easier you doing extra work
Im recovering mine from a front end damage collision.
It’s a 2016, but it doesnt have that cooler piece in front of the condenser. Is that normal or am I missing something?
That power steering cooler is optional In some models. So your car maybe doesn’t have that option
Excelent Video and Thank you for posting. I have to get mine replaced here in Virginia. Now I know what the shop will have to go through to get mine fixed. About how long does the job take and what would be a ball park fair pricing to expect from for this repair (parts included)? Thanks !
That job is rated for about 2.5h multiplied by the Shop rate. Parts prices will vary depends on the brand $150-250. Thank you for watching and I do appreciate you comment. 🙏🙏
Honestly.. ive been working on cars for 15 years.. but old school cars... nothing new. Ive never seen a a.c condensor used for the transmission cooler.. thats odd. In the past it would be built into the cars radiators.
When did they start putting them into the a.c condensor ?
I’ve been seeming this for years now.
How much oil do you add to the AC system after condenser replacement?
I usually add just 2 OZ of oil with dye just to check for future leaks
Hello
What new cooler do you recommend ?
I would assume the mopar ones have a defect which probably still has not been fixed ?
Is your shop in Mn ?
Thanks
I’ve been doing aftermarket for a while now and seems really good. Few different brands. Couple brands are just local stuff.
@@a2zautomasters862 Any links to them ?
Do you have a shop in Minnesota ?
@@bigsled12 the only location we have is in Garden City NY.
Is it possible to remove the AC/Trans cooler and leave the radiator hooked up so you don’t have to drain that?
Most likely not the radiator hoses are in the way.
Hello
Do you know if the 2011 Grand Cherokee is pretty much the same ?
Yes its. Thank you for watching.
So useful 👍
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Can do it without removing the radiator pretty easily
Now I see why the repair shop wants to charge 1800$ to replace this cause its a lengthy tedious process lol
Lol. It’s
$1800 is still alot. Maybe $1200 included with recharge
I have to get this done on my 2014 and the cost is $1100 😢
Sorry to hear that. I’m not sure how far are you from us but I can definitely help you out and get it done a lot cheaper.
@@a2zautomasters862 I’m in Georgia… where are you located
@@renaymiddleton2868 ouch. I’m in garden city NY. You can save $400-$450 if you wanna take the ride. 🤷🏼♂️😂
@@a2zautomasters862 I’m from Connecticut so I drive from GA to C T regularly… thank you for the info

How much oil do you add to the AC system after condenser replacement?
A lot of oil stays inside the compressor. I usually add only 2 Oz of oil with dye to check for future leaks.
