Laura Post did such an excellent job with Nuwas voice, she sounds so badass, but also enticing at the same time. Her overall design is godlike too. Nuwa is definitely one of my favorite characters in the game so far, really hoping there's an ending to side with her, only at shinagawa atm.
to be fair neko shogun is too. One of the better early game demons since it has debuff/buff afinities, and i actually used the talisman move that deals nasty almighty damage
@@mintce2238 Well if you must know theres a satisfying feeling when you take down bosses at lower levels. A lot of people like doing low level hard type runs to see how much they can get away with. Myself included, I beat Nuwa at level 18 without needing pyro jack lol
Out of all early bosses in video games, I love how Nuwa is introduced. Pile of angel corpses, dramatic dialogue expressing her intent to not let you leave alive. She's posed as a legitimate threat, and not just another diety to fight. That's peak dedication to storycraft.
The fact that you don't even kill her but just deplete half of her hp bar before Yakumo shows up, proves she isn't just any ordinary deity/demon. Which is a good touch.
It was so difficult to burn through her hp with my meme build mc. All my demons were out of mana and I was about to reset, but then the fight suddenly ended at 40%
I just "defeated" this boss after a long fight using jack-o-lantern, raksasha and shiisa and watching you use the "anti wind" item made me die inside because that would have made the fight SOOOOO much easier
The cost of skills is insane in this game, and bosses omega spongy. Yet, somehow, the game doesn't feel unfair with all the tools and options it provides, at least on Normal :) Great job as always Buff

And well, even if you can get 8 turns you must keep in mind that: 1 - you will not be bringing 4 demons with the correct element each time and 2 - you still need to protect yourself, so some of those turns will be spent buffing/debuffing/healing or even guarding. But as i said there are enough tools, like gems and dampeners. It's just very easy to run out of mana during boss fights.
@@Mage-Andrey well i do always make a team that is appropriate to the specific boss, and sometimes even enemy encounters , if they are too strong. And even then i like to have backup just to be safe, but to each his own
Really had to pull out all the stops on this boss. Had Nahobino wind resistance, agilao spamming with Jack'o Lantern, Aquans poisoning, Leanan healing up to first magatsuhi. Then switched to Archangel/Take-Minakata with dia/Bicorn with agi. Even then I had to use 3 or 4 fire gems along with double sukunda/tarunda to win. Nuwa does not mess around.
This is mainline Shin Megami Tensei my friend. Male character are the ones that get all the erotic art and female characters actually tend to get shafted.

I seriously dont know if I got lucky, but I "beat" her on my second try. First fight I found her weaknesses, and understood what magic she does, then before my second attempt I swapped nahobino's weaknesses to just have force resistance. Team got destroyed, but nuwa kept using force spells and her magatsuhi attack;and rarely attacked me with a regular attack (24 vitality) which did chip dmg to me. Kept getting free turns so I just Rinse and repeated a grindfest of turns that somehow landed me to the end of the fight and the cutscene appearing appeared. Never played an SMT before and doing the game on hard
Yeah I did this last night. I just set it to autobattle and whittled away her health with only my nahobino for the memes and was suprised when I actually defeated her. Never before have I ever played a game that just lets you do that
If you dont take about 15-20% of her health, she can use it again. That's what I got from a little testing. And yeah, I kinda soloed her with Nahobino too, though I also brought Fortuna, Sudama and High Pixie to get a bit of extra damage
It's interesting how on this fight on hard mode you get to use more dapaners as she uses electric too. I played on normal, and she gave me a rough time even there

I handled the Hydra thing relatively well. This was the boss fight where I was like “Oh no. This game IS gonna be an ordeal.”

You could have used a essence to change your Resistens to block wind attacks
Same team as yours except replace Shiisaa with High Pixie. And I got Null Force on my Nahobino.

boss are tanky cuz they can be exploited for 8 turns so super easy since most have weakness lol and this boss is over at 40% health not 0

I just ran with a sudama Affinity, elec dampener, and then basically soloed her with nahobino. She only ever uses mazio once
