Damn, SMT V makes cutscenes that shows just how terrifying the scale Demons can cause collateral damage. Sure we've seen universes being destroyed and recreated before but it's hard to imagine
I think Strange Journey Redux's opening also displayed it well. Freaking Morax, the first significant boss of the game was probably even bigger than Surt here, and he ruled over his own space-time. Surt is probably one of my favorite bosses in the game, if only because he gave me that same sense of dread and ultimate satisfaction as with that, without being the final or secret boss.
I have been trying to to get to this boss so many times the angels don’t let me pass what do I need to go through the flames and where is that tailsmen exactly?
You have to unlock him first by completing a quest from Demeter in the 2nd map. If you havent, she can be found before the fairy village slideshow in a building, check the map for a sub-quest.
@@EmblemSnake Kinda. You can't directly change demon's resistances with essences, only Nahobino. However you can give them skills such as "resist fire" which do change them but take up skill slots
I always thought this boss intro was especially good No offense smt4 but there intros were menacing but kind cringe and I couldn't get where the mythos was but here I get why and where his words are coming (Maybe because its surt but still) from plus the theme makes it just like I could've thought Surt (He was referred to as king of chaos before right?) was the demon king plus the scaling the scaling makes it all so much more better

My Nahobino came in weak to fire. Whoops. But luckily I gave him an essence that made him IMMUNE to fire.
I went into this with level 42 it was soo hard

i'm stuck wondering why nahobino didn't just use an essence to get repel fire and repel the fire wall
Avian Accursed Poison helped me beat this boss almost too easily. That magatsuhi skill always effective for bosses.
I used when he gathered magatsutchi and it sealed him so he couldn't cast. It made the fight a breeze

Those dampeners seem...Kinda broken. Are they rare someway? And Buff is just super prepared with them?
elemental dampers can be bought from the store, but physical, those need to be farmed.
Be aware you can only carry 3 of them, so use Dampers wisely,

If you're wondering about dlc, it shares across all saves. whenever you load a older save all the dlcs will activate.
