And this isn't a coincidence, there's a reason why Seth is the master of a character that is basically ripped right from an HP Lovecraft story and it has to do with the real life historical occult teachings of Kenneth Grant a real life author occultist and student of the infamous Aleister Crowley. Kenneth Grant basically developed what is generally referred to as the typhonian School of esoteric Magick. In this he took the working the archaeological series of the time that postulated a syncretism between the serpentine/ dragon like Typhon from Greek mythology with Seth from Egyptian myth. He then took this entity which he referred to as Sut-Typhon and associated it Yog-Sothoth an entity from the lovecraftian mythos. He was one of the first to adopt the fictional universe of Lovecraft and his inner circle into a set of symbols and archetypes that could be used for ritual magic. His school of Typhonian Magick, which blended elements of Greek and Egyptian mythology, Hindu philosophy, and Lovecraft's fiction became the primary basis for Modern day Khaos magic. So the original author of The Digital Devils created a series influence by tons of real world historical occult teachings, so he naturally included the teachings of Crowley and Grant in his worldbuliding. The original trilogy of novels is a Sci-Fi series and was basically his attempt at creating his own contribution to the Cthulhu mythos because he was a huge fan of Lovecraft and his work which is far more science fiction genre then pure horror.
kazune414 And now instead we get stuff like Doi's Odin being ''Marvel movies portray Thor and Norse gods as aliens which i think is cool, so imma gonna make Odin into Ultra Man'' I actually really like that Odin design for the record and i think it's a huge improvement over Purple Guy, but it's fun to think of how far we've come. There's also Doi's Demeter but we don't talk about that one .
@@JackFrostAegirine Not even Doi liked the Demeter design, apparently from a interview, Atlus wanted him to drew her a loli, he doesn't always have full control over the demon designs.
@@JackFrostAegirine I don't like Demeter's design in strange journey redux, but I understand it. I understand that the intention was to deliberately create the sense of uncanny valley where you had a character that every player knew from the beginning was shady as f***but still try to present herself as a helpless well-meaning ally. Incidentally I also love the Odin redesign, and I know it's an Ultraman reference but I also always got more Kaman rider vibes from it. I also think it was designed to juxtapose Dagda's design considering how their foils for each other and both mythologically descended from the same God. I also really like the Zeus design used in strange journey redux, I thought it was a brilliant bit of referencing a really obscure bit of Greek mythology that not many people know about with his light and dark motif. That being the fact that for many ancient Greeks the figures of Zeus and Hades were one in the same God.
My favorite demon is probably Cu Chulainn! I LOVE his Nocturne design, with the white and blue armor and the long dark hair. Also, while he's never, like, the most powerful demon in the game, he's ALWAYS one of the best demons at his level. In SMT IV he's the first demon to whisper a 1-4 hit medium magic attack at level 50, which is useful until the very end of the game. In Persona 5 R he comes with a near perfect kit for crit fishing right out of the box, with rebellion, apt pupil, one shot kill, and charge. I love Cu Chulainn a lot lol
I also love Cu Chulainn a lot, but personally I like Tam Lin more. The sleek blue armor and white hair is something I really like, and while also never the best demon, he carries me in every game he is in. I always make sure to pick him up and run through the entire game just destroying demons with his phys skills.
I actually live in the town in Ireland where Cu Chulainn was said to have died! It's nice seeing a mythological figure that's so familiar to me talked about around the world thanks to SMT.
Titania. She's gorgeous, a great healer, and in P3(FES, P), you have a chance to refill your magic. If you have Oberon on your team as well, you can use the skill Summer Dream to create a random effect on the battle field. One of these is to heal up your party member's HP AND SP, meaning that the only thing stopping you from getting to the next top step in Tartarus is the fatigue system. Which I've never had a problem with.
I'll have to say Alice really, I think her design, thought Abit simple, is very iconic from just a glare. Plus he has appeared in most of the games and is always a good pick up in my party
I've got a massive soft spot for Fortuna and Kikuru-hime. Both of them have designs that I absolutely adore. P3 was my first game and I remember my Fortuna sticking with me for way longer than she had any right to. As for Kikuru-hime she has ALWAYS been my main healer for literally every smt and persona game. She was best for me in 3 but I also remember just not finding a better healer in 4 so she was genuinely there until the end despite being so underlevelled.
The lore of black frost is kinda sad actually something about him being evil then making a friend being judged(maybe?) then given only one day of his entire life to spend time with his friend then disappears and never to see each other again
@@bluebros.7266 I don't know if she was telling the truth tho. She mispronounced black frost and then went "I didn't mispronounce it! I made all that up anyways!"
@@suoodalmhri8172 Well, in Nocturne Black Frost born after eating a Magatama, technically he's a Demi-Fiend version of Jack Frost. So she was probably talking about Demi-Fiend
In Persona 4 Golden I had a Black Frost with agidyne, mind charge and fire amp. Did like 2000 damage to bosses if used right carried me through most of the game.
My personal favorite 'demon" is Messiah from Persona 3. Its a design that always stuck with me, with all the symbolism involved with how he looks and a facial feature similar to the Sun social link, representing everything the Protagonist has learned as he seeks to sacrifice himself to overcome death for everyone. It works on so many levels, and in general, the Persona symbolism in 3 is so good, very like 1 and 2. Pity they dropped it a lot for 4 and 5. I know persona exclusive demons are cheating, so otherwise, my favorite is Metatron. His boss fight in Nocturne is spectacular, I love how Kaneko took the "tron" in his name to become a literal robot. Its so good. I love biblically accurate angels (as you brought up with Throne) and while Metatron isn't exactly that, hes still my favorite and I make sure to fuse him in every game I can. So much better than a pretty angel. He invokes a feeling of cold terror, and its awesome
I'd say that P5R Okukumura is probably one of the most frustrating, though "hard" is a term I'd avoid. 55R Okumura specifically. He's not a particularly big damage-dealer like the Reaper, he won't hold you to a set of rules and instakill you for breaking them like Elizabeth. No, his major sin is that you are on a timer the entire fight, in two ways. First is obvious, you have 30 minutes to beat Okumura. But the second is a little more hidden. Starting with his second phase--where the corporobos will use Selfless Devotion--if you don't kill a wave in two turns, then the wave resets. This is a problem for two reasons: 1. The corporobos resist all elements but Gun, Almighty, and 2 others. 2. The Model GM are fairly strong, what with using Megaton Raid, their decent stats, and the aforementioned resistances And 3. Okumura is constantly casting Rakunda or Famine's scream on the party and buffing the Corporobos with Rakukaja. Keep in mind, you are on a time limit. So, you have to go in ready to blow past the earlier phases, debuff the Model-GM, cure Hunger to keep the party's DPS up, and abuse the fuck put of Technical knockdowns and Baton Pass. Yeah, and the game doesn't even tell you that the corporobos can be afflicted by ailments or that you have two turns to wipe out all of the robots. Okumura was boring in vanilla P5 and frustrating as hell in Royal. I'm almost cheering when Black Mask shoots Okumura.
Demonee-ho is one of my favorites. He gets one of the best suits in the series, gets 3 really good unique skills, and his character is just really funny to interact with.
Ditto. Demonee- ho's Desperate Hit was the best damaging move in IV besides Uriel's Kannuki Throw. It's actually possible to beat Masako's Shadow in that game by just spamming charged Desperate Hits and without the aid of DLC skills.
@@JackFrostAegirine When I first saw Demonee-ho in strange I knew he had to be in my team in every game no matter what. He carried me through the mem aleph fight so hard with his desperate hit.
Jack Frost is my boy. That face never changes, he looks so out of place, he's adorable. I love it. Plus the puns are just amazing. Hee-Ho, it's time for you to go.
Mothman is my favorite. Nocturne, raidou, persona, SJ, there hasn't been a game yet where it has been dead weight to the team. When I reach the part in the games where I can fuse it, I'm always able to make it such a great support with buffs/debuffs and attack spells.
Anyone else just realize that back in the day people confused shin megami for pokemon and tried to get pokemon banned because in it you supposedly summoned demons?
Pixie is one of my favorite demons. It's simple, but a memorable design and I like the character, sue me. I also love Alice. Being one of the more powerful demons but also being an adorable little girl based on a book a lot of us read growing up is just hilarious to me.
For me my most favorites are Pixie best starting girl, Nekomata, Jeanne' De Arc(Yes she was a Law-Neutral alignment demon you can recruit in Nine and a useful one at that as like Pixie, and Nekomata she had access to potent healing spells as well as various buffs, debuffs, along with getting every version of the Hama spell), Hellhound, and Alice.
I’m a new fan so I’m not too well verse in SMT but atm my top 10 is: 1. Bugs 2. Forneus 3. Titiania 4. Satanael 5. Yoshitsune 6. Alice 7. Matador 8. Sraosha 9. Kohryu 10. Pixie
Satanael from Persona 5 or Soul Hackers ? Satanael has two diifirent appearance. In P5 he looks like a badass, in Soul Hackers he is very ... specific ;D
I’m not sure if this counts, but Azathoth from Persona 5 Royal has one of the neatest designs I’ve ever seen in these games, and the boss fight itself is great, so I’d say that’s one of my favorites. Aside from that, I’ve always thought Metatron was pretty cool, even if he is a pain to fuse most of the time, and Loki (specifically Akechi’s) is just SO cool looking.
Moh Shivuu never fails to carry me through the early game in all her appearances. Good movelist which can be flexible thanks to her slightly balanced stats. Slightly biased on this because in Raidou vs Soulless Army, she comes early with wind spells, healing and has the Fly detective skill
Metatron is one of my favorite demons, because I like his design and it became one of my best units on my second run in SMT IV . IT has also an interesting background story.
Tiamat, she was the first of the more intimidating demons i got to summon in smt4, really freaky design that i grew to love after learning about her lore (mother of the sea and monsters that inhabit it). it was also a really awesome suprise to see the big role she plays in Deep strange journey.
Amazing video honey! I love that you covered such a large range of demons throughout the series' entirety. Your transitions in your videos are improving so much lately and I adore it ❤
Y'know, I'm surprised you didn't mention the connection between Satanael and Satan in the megami tensei lore, as I think it's one of the most fascinating and compelling things about both of those demons. The angel cast out of heaven for defying a corrupt false-god and giving humanity freedom, choosing to serve under the true gods eternal enemy, Lucifer. It's great stuff, and I hope that in future games that lore is fleshed out more
As a Hindu boi myself, I love the representation of our deities in SMT games. Fun fact:- Keeping Pralaya exclusive to Shiva is probably a reference to him being the Destroyer as he brings Pralaya(destruction).
Maria just has to be my favorite Demon along with many others in MegaTen. I mean, we’re literally summoning Jesus’s mom! What’s not to like?! She also has been appearing more recently with SJR and P5R (coincidentally ends with R...) which more people know how cool her design is.
Personally I love Wu Kong, his lore and the various designs they gave him. The Monkey King is my favorite legend, so to see him get representation is awesome. I also love Daisojou. His resistances in Nocturne and his unique skills make him an endgame demon for me, especially when using the Mitama to boost his stats. Then of course, who could forget.. Yoshistune, especially from P5R. Hassou Tobi + Charge.
There are a lot to pick from but Fafnir is one of my favorites. While i have only played P5R and just started P4G, Fafnir is just so cool. The badass mechanical dragon design is the main selling point, but his gameplay in P5R is the main reason i love him. Once i got him, he was my nuke damage guy and damn was he good at it, Combined with his resistances (repel phys and gun, drain fire and nuke) made him a staple in my team, he's now one of my two "Nullifying buff" personas, immune to everything and focus on buffs and debuffs, with the other being Mara I also have a soft spot for Hecatoncheires as he was my main physical persona (with null phys) for a good chunk of the game Mithras, Kaiwan, and Decarabia also have a spot for being great magic damage, Mithras actually being the one to carry me through the Okumura fight
Fafnir is probably my favorite too. Though as someone who started with P5 but went back to the other games, that's probably the best he's gonna be throughout the series. SMT IV and Strange Journey make him weak to ice and thunder (albeit they make sense since he's a mecha-dragon) but I still wanted to use him on my chaos runs for both games. He isn't even immune to both physical and gun in Strange Journey.
Loved the video and would love to see more top 10s! Beelzebub is definitely my favorite demon. Nocturne was one of the first RPGs i ever played, and the idea of fusing a boss you beat to make him an ally was mind blowing for me. So to actually be able to fuse a demon lord that had a whole section of the Kalpa cursed, and has badass skills, and looks sinister as hell...and upgrades from his human form to his fly form, thats a keeper for sure! and since then he's always been my fav.
One of my favorite Demons(or Personas becuase i have only played P4 and P5) is Shiki-Ouji. I think the design of this paper mache man is really damn cool, with him being white on one side, and red on the other. Also, in P5, his resistances are SUPER good for where you get him. Nulls Phys, Gun, Bless, AND, Curse? Yes please!
I remember when I got my first Surt in Persona 3. I went from dealing around 100 damage on average to 1200 damage with Mind Charge Ragnarok. Fun times.
Ahh, mine's Mother Harlot, has to be the design, and being the Queen of Fiends in most games kinda, i think, sadly i don't think i've ever got her in SMT because she's always so high level or i simply didn't find her, she's kinda on the weaker side on Persona like mostly every Fiend there feels like, always do my best to make her strong though and use her in my final party. Next would be Ongyo-Ki, he looks absolutely sick, and he's the boss of the 3 other Onis i think, i already like the other 3 Oni as it is, i think they are all really strong demons at the point they appear, but fuse them together and the guy becomes Ongyo-Ki some ultimate black demon that can now make copies of himself, think he is almost always crazy strong in any game, also love his quote whenever you fuse him in most games "Oh so you can see me?" Referring to his ability. Pretty much those two, just a fair mention i go apeshit whenever i see Loa for some reason, certainly did when he even got added in Royal, i just can't explain Loa at all cause im confused about it myself.
About the Fiends, you might be correct in regards to them as a whole but I always thought that at least Trumpeter was pretty consistently good, well maybe not so much in P3 as Hama and Mudo kinda suck in that game, though P4-5 he certainly was. I guess similarly Alice and Daisoujou since they're the only ones with Die For Me and Samsara respectively.
I'd say my top 3 demons would be Alice (because they have an interesting backstory, and are probably the best mudo demons in the series), Nebiros (cool design, nice magic-focused demon and persona, also ties in with Alice's backstory), and Girimehkala for similar reasons to Nyarly (great resistances, great choice in almost every game they're in, etc)
Favorite ones are: 5. The angels, like, all of them, I like all of their designs in SMTV specifically. 4. Setante and Cu Chualinn, I love the story of Setante. 3. Idun, she is stupid useful with her unique healing ability. 2. Pixie, same reason, plus, she looks cute 1. Manananggal, I’m stupidly biased to this cause I’m Filipino, but I love how they made her and gave her her own unique skill, I also like how they’re branching out into Filipino culture with it, I’d like to see a Kapre join one day, or even a Tiyanak!
Currently replaying my Atlus games in prep for SMT V. Just replayed beat SMT 4 again yesterday and I gotta say I adore everything about Sanat from that DLC quest and as an ally. Also Minotaur is one of my favorites because of how reliable I've always found him.
I got Attis for the fitst time mid game in P3 and I’ve loved him ever since. A combination of Evil Smile, Fear Boost, and Ghastly Wail made him a beast, and Thermopylae was a staple in a lot of my P5 playthroughs. I think he has a fantastic design and he’s just generally really cool
I love watching your videos on Megaten demons, would definitely love to see more ! As for my favorite demons I would say Mother Harlot, Beelzebub, Berith, Eligor, Nidhoggr, and probably some others I can’t think of at this moment.
Great vid. A note on Abaddon for you, (pro. Aba-don) he has a giant mouth in his design because before he was named an angel in revelations, in the Torah he was not so much an entity but a endless bottomless pit in Sheol.
Pixie has always been one of my favorites but Maria has overtaken that. I love her design and healing abilities. They developers really stuck to her mythology.
Ancient of Days is one of those demons I hope we get to see someday. God's aspects representation is always welcome because it helps to keep the YHVH concept fresh and this specific demon did a great job in that regard. The design also has this Kaneko style prevalent in most higher rank demons.
Mt favorite has to be Thanatos, specifically the persona 3 design. He was the first Persona i ever saw and he introduced me to the franchise as a whole.
The only way I can imagine people being scared of the “people with halos and wings” interpretation of angels would be if they suddenly appeared via flash bang. Like the shepherds in the middle of the night suddenly surprised by a great flash of light.
Thor has stuck with me a lot in P3P with memories of using Arms Master to just spam Deathbound and power through floors. Rakshasa is also super iconic and cool-looking for me. I never played much of Nidhoggr but I love its design. Portraying a dragon eating the roots of the World Tree as this parasitic-looking maggot-centipede with a giant mouth is so brilliant.
I'd like to see a top 10 list of the freakiest demons in the series. Pisaca is such nightmare fuel, I swear. I love how a lot of the generic random encounter enemies that we blow away like nothing in SMT can star in their own full-blown horror games Edit: I should have watched the "Top 10 Worst Demons" video before talking about Pisaca
All solid choices, but for me, Mother Harlot and Jezebel are top tier. Harlot as a representative of the whole Fiends and Jezebel as of the Bel race.... such cool concepts for demons in the Megaten lore! Also, Ongyo-Ki is a must have in all my playthroughs in which he appear. I love the evil Oni so much!
My favorites are def Siegfired because I love his design and he's an absolute BEAST and my other favorite is Obreon he design is sick and in Persona 3 he was with me since the Lovers boss and carried all the way through the game until the final full moon shadow he was amazing and it hurt when I had to get rid of him
Abaddon's old design is kinda straight forward: as the angel of the Abyss that huge mouth (that can even devour parts of a city in SMT2!) *is* the Abyss. Edit: If I'd have to pick some favorite demon/persona, I'd probably go with Uriel from original Persona 3 (the first SMT I ever played): seeing a blue-skinned Archangel in the Tower Arcana that is used for calamity and destruction was something I never forget. The few Persian demons/personas, like Armaiti, are also great fun. (A "waifu" would be Yakshini.)
Kind of a weird one but Arahabaki's always been one of my favourites. I started with Persona 4 and I think it was the first persona I got that reflected physical and it's found a place on my team in every other game. It's design is pretty nifty too.

@@JackFrostAegirine I never noticed, but yeah I can definitely see similarities to smt4 Odin, and an Ultraman.
The walking animation of Surt in IMAGINE is.. something special
I just saw that out of Curiosity....it was worth it, But now I cannot unsee it everytime I look to Surt.... thanks :v
Ikr i started playing that game a bit ago and saw someone with surt and it freaked me out
You should check out Anubis in Shin Megami Tensei NINE, it's a thing of beauty too.
The walking animations of demons in IMAGINE are both amazing and sometimes cursed.
Jerk-O-Lantern how did you play NINE?
The fact that neither Yoshitsune nor Alice were on this list breaks my heart.
Same Alice is my favorite and yoyo sword man is my number 2
Alice is cracked as hell
I love Alice! But Black Frost is still my favorite
Yeah bro, Alice is good,
Alice is our go-to for most of Persona 3 until thanatos can be fused.
Black Frost is just the definition of
"Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb."
@@alexkeenan5201 that's so awesome! The story of his death is really cool as well, I love the lore behind him so much
I love both of them they look so cool
Hunter Carvey My favorites as well! The designs for these characters are sleek
Ahhh Pixie ..the Only TRUE friend of every Main Character in every SMT game :)
I'll have to say Alice really, I think her design, thought Abit simple, is very iconic from just a glare. Plus he has appeared in most of the games and is always a good pick up in my party
"Plus *he* has happeared"
Hold up
@@mortenera4423 fuk-
Just started getting into the SMT series, and I seriously love Black Frost.
Specifically the fact that he's not evil. He's *Hee Ho* evil
I always found Hariti to be better that Kikuri-Hime
The lore of black frost is kinda sad actually something about him being evil then making a friend being judged(maybe?) then given only one day of his entire life to spend time with his friend then disappears and never to see each other again
Margaret said that in Persona 4, but didn't she say that it was a lie to teach the protagonist not to just believe anything said to him
Blue Bros. Entertainment Wait I just realized could that friend be Demi-fiend from nocturne
Shit happened in devil survivor with midori and black forst so I guess that makes sense now....
My favorite is Metatron because I love the lore and the way he looks
And also Kusi Mitama because the face is funny
Since I played DeSu I actually hate him he is pretty cheap in that battle
And also, kusi mean piss in finnish
Black Frost carried me in persona 3, till I got beelzebub and he blew down anything that stood in my way from them on
Black Frost truly is the most powerful Persona of the Frost family because he is allowed to say the n word ;) hee ho
In Persona 4 Golden I had a Black Frost with agidyne, mind charge and fire amp. Did like 2000 damage to bosses if used right carried me through most of the game.
@@ericschuster2680 Yes, but the most powerful Persona character at all is Mark from Revelations: Persona and it is imposibble to refute.
mark is both white and black, giving him the ability to get away from the police and say the n word at same time
I fought the final boss with Black Frost and holy fuck is the black hee ho good
My personal favorite 'demon" is Messiah from Persona 3.
Top 10 hardest smt boss fights? No final bosses and maybe limit it to 1 per game.
^^
i think we also shouldn’t include bonus bosses (such as demi fiend) because they’re supposed to be ungodly hard (or challenging at worst).
@@awe9217 agreed
Minotaur Medusa matador
This is a problem for two reasons:
1. The corporobos resist all elements but Gun, Almighty, and 2 others.
2. The Model GM are fairly strong, what with using Megaton Raid, their decent stats, and the aforementioned resistances
And
Girimehkala is my favorite and it's nice to see it got on to the list. Something about that big eye and proboscis really resonates with me
Beelzebub, cause of how absolutely terrifying he looks, and how his alternate forms relate to how his myth goes. It's quite interesting, really.
Demonee-ho is one of my favorites. He gets one of the best suits in the series, gets 3 really good unique skills, and his character is just really funny to interact with.
heck ya, like all the different jack frost their are all cool like Lucifroz just being Jack Frost that thought lucifer was cool.
@@minin1152 yeah lucifroz has a really cool design I hope they add him in future titles like maybe in smt 5
Ditto. Demonee- ho's Desperate Hit was the best damaging move in IV besides Uriel's Kannuki Throw. It's actually possible to beat Masako's Shadow in that game by just spamming charged Desperate Hits and without the aid of DLC skills.
@@JackFrostAegirine
When I first saw Demonee-ho in strange I knew he had to be in my team in every game no matter what. He carried me through the mem aleph fight so hard with his desperate hit.
"A list of all the demons I like would take forever"
Honestly, I AM HERE TO LEARN LET'S GO MORE DEMONS
My fav one is Mastema simply cuz he look like Todd Howard
Go away.
You mean he looks like tommy wiseau
Ah yes, the lying napkin
(Do gotta admire the neato inspiration behind his mask tho)
Jack Frost is my boy. That face never changes, he looks so out of place, he's adorable. I love it.
Plus the puns are just amazing. Hee-Ho, it's time for you to go.
Mothman is my favorite. Nocturne, raidou, persona, SJ, there hasn't been a game yet where it has been dead weight to the team. When I reach the part in the games where I can fuse it, I'm always able to make it such a great support with buffs/debuffs and attack spells.
He's even good in the mobile game. Or he was, but I haven't kept up with it since launch.
Picked up Devil Survivor Overclocked as my first 3DS SMT to play during quarantine (lol) and yeah Black Frost is the best
The demons that immediately come to mind as my favorites are Seth, Cu Chulainn, Alice, Trumpeter, and all of the SMTIV Archangel designs
My favorite demon is from Nocturne and its Raidou Kuzunoha from the series Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army
Dante > Raidou I’m so sorry

My favourite Demon is Jack "Hee Ho" Frost
My Steam name is “Jack “Hee Ho” Frost”!
hell ya jack frost is like my favorite too, he's so cool.
In Mexico Jack Frost is occasionally translated as Juanito Escarcha so ever since i learned that, that is all i refer to him as from now on.

I’m a new fan so I’m not too well verse in SMT but atm my top 10 is:
1. Bugs
2. Forneus
3. Titiania
4. Satanael
5. Yoshitsune
6. Alice
7. Matador
8. Sraosha
9. Kohryu
10. Pixie
Satanael from Persona 5 or Soul Hackers ? Satanael has two diifirent appearance. In P5 he looks like a badass, in Soul
Hackers he is very ... specific ;D
n r Persona
@@nr2676 Satanael in SH is based. Really like his design.
COME LOKIIII
Alice is my #1 favorite👌 it's cute when she say "will you die for me"
I like that moment in SMT I
I really like Fafnir's design in P5R. Asterius, Satan, and Baphomet are all great too.
One of my favorites is Norn. She is usually pretty consistent to get and if you fuse her, you got yourself a great Caster/Healer!
Your transitions in your videos are improving so much lately and I adore it ❤
My favorite is Alice! I like to chease enemys with "Die For Me", but I Miss the Card soldier animation.
@@cunnyman Yes officer this comment right here
I don't know what the hell they were thinking replacing her Card soldier animation in P5, thankfully Dx2 brought it back.
God...this is the channel I really really need. thanks man. truly.
Seth is my favorite because it’s a dragon named Seth. It’s amazing
Wu Kong is a badass no matter what franchise he’s in, and I love his design in SMT IV
There are a lot to pick from but Fafnir is one of my favorites. While i have only played P5R and just started P4G, Fafnir is just so cool. The badass mechanical dragon design is the main selling point, but his gameplay in P5R is the main reason i love him. Once i got him, he was my nuke damage guy and damn was he good at it, Combined with his resistances (repel phys and gun, drain fire and nuke) made him a staple in my team, he's now one of my two "Nullifying buff" personas, immune to everything and focus on buffs and debuffs, with the other being Mara
I also have a soft spot for Hecatoncheires as he was my main physical persona (with null phys) for a good chunk of the game
Mithras, Kaiwan, and Decarabia also have a spot for being great magic damage, Mithras actually being the one to carry me through the Okumura fight
I realy hope to see a mega ten or persona game with all 3 of the jack brothers, I mean Jack Frost, Pyro Jack (Jack - o - Lantern) and Jack the Reaper

With SMT V and Nocturne remastered coming next year, I think your channel will grow tremendously. Keep it up, dude!
I love Cybele(she was my strongest demon in persona 3) There is Yoshitsune, Amaterasu, Trumpter, Daisoujou, Anant and Okininushi
Fun times.
I really like hell biker! He's kinda like Ghost Rider in marvel and I always thought he was pretty cool too.
Another fantastic video, and pretty dang inciteful on some of their mythos! Great work!
Hello, didn’t think I’d see you here (:
My favourites are Ame-no-Uzume and Baal. Love how Kaneko captured their grace and power with their designs
Nice list.
Oh and great that there is only Kaneko representation here. Man of true taste.
I love all the Jacks. I even have a Jack Frost Nendoroid that looks absolutely *perfect.*
Shiva is not just a great demon, but in SMT V he's easily my favourite bonus boss ever. He just summons his family to beat you up while he dances.
Favorite ones are:
5. The angels, like, all of them, I like all of their designs in SMTV specifically.
4. Setante and Cu Chualinn, I love the story of Setante.
3. Idun, she is stupid useful with her unique healing ability.
2. Pixie, same reason, plus, she looks cute
My number one is Metatron by far! Great vid!
I always call Girimehkala; Harry Elephante. He is the greatest and if I'm ever in doubt I use him and it somehow works out every time. King shit
Nice list man! One of the best series that has collectible monsters.
Ancient of Days is one of those demons I hope we get to see someday. God's aspects representation is always welcome because it helps to keep the YHVH concept fresh and this specific demon did a great job in that regard. The design also has this Kaneko style prevalent in most higher rank demons.
He’s in SMT IV DLC? Or do you mean outside of that DLC?
@@shadexvii3975 He's part of a DLC quest. When defeated you unlock its fusion. I'm referring to getting to see this demon on future SMT releases.
Gratz on 50k man! Well deserved ✌️
I've always liked Succubus, making her op as fuck in the Persona games and having her for a little too long in the SMT games
Some of my favorites are Alice, Surt, Seigfried, Beelzebub, Metatron, and Scathach.
I'm always happy to see MegaTen TopTens. It's cool to see what people think about the series
My favorite Demon is Thor he saved my ass the first time i played persona 3. And now i try to get him in every game he is in.
Kaneko is the best designer. The way he draws demons is incredible
My favorite demon will probably always be Lucifer. I mean, it's kinda of an easy choice, but hey, the guy is just very cool.
I'd like to see a top 10 list of the freakiest demons in the series. Pisaca is such nightmare fuel, I swear. I love how a lot of the generic random encounter enemies that we blow away like nothing in SMT can star in their own full-blown horror games
Edit: I should have watched the "Top 10 Worst Demons" video before talking about Pisaca

I love Odin in 4 apocalpyse design. I loved the short time i used him before i benched him.

Shoutout to ose for carrying me through persona 4 from rises dungeon to izanami
And if you’re wondering how skill cards.
From where is that scene 3:00?
