This is a touchy issue in which there will be many different views and arguments of course.. but I for one have no issue with someone getting Government Handout as you may call it..we do not know each and every individuals Situation that's one of my view, another is, even if she was working,she may not even can make enough to afford Regular Basic Shopping needs, as she did express that she has no Car, no Transportation and she lives in as we could see in a Poor Area! Yes she has 2 Kids, some have commented she looks Pregnant (I don't know of course and doesn't concern me) life must continue! But back to my issue, regardless if she receives Government Assistance..we are a Nation of Consumers and we are Blessed and lacking nothing..we have more than enough Food in Supermarkets as where no one should be Starving and no Food should be thrown away because no one could Consume it! Whether it's Government Handouts, it's still Money being spent to Sustain our Economy, when we buy, it keeps Jobs afloat! The Poor we will have with us always as Jesus said in the Bible and we are to Love and Support the less Fortunate, it is better to Suffer for doing Good than doing evil! No matter how Strong of an Economy or as Nation, the Poor will still be among us! What do you say to the Homeless, you think People actually want to be Homeless, what about the Disabled, what about the Mental ill, What about Veterans, the Elderly!? Only Republicans make the issue of receiving Benefits for a Certain amount of time, but there isn't and never will be 100% employment and Jobs for everyone! Republicans in my view claim to be Pro Life but at the same time, Cut Programs to benefit the less Fortunate!! Voting against Minimum Wage increase, Cut Social Security, Cut Medicaid, denying Schools Free Lunch Programs but at the same time allowing the Wealthy to keep more of their Money and the Poor and Middle Class should pay more!! But to end this..if my Tax Dollars goes to the Poor that they can eat, then it's a Good investment, I am not looking for anything in return, Life is only once they too deserved to be Fed!

Indeed I've lived on my car 16 years after raising three and am paying back for the section 8 from my social security earnings which would have been $2000 and are now $1300 because I had to take it early when my kids threw me under the bus thinking they would cash in on their dad wealth. He died from a heart attack on the golf course.

I work(same employer for 20 yrs and I’m in my upper 30’s) , I’m intelligent, I’m not lazy, and I’m black. Yet still I am currently having trouble with housing and feeding my babies. The housing issue is beyond comprehension and food insecurities is real! This isn’t a color thing. It isn’t a “stop having kids if you can’t feed them” thing. And although I refuse to accept governmental assistance.. it makes me no better than anyone else who just wants to have a home and food! I could go into statistics of which race actually receives more governmental assistance than others.. but will it matter? Will some of you begin to rethink your stereotypes?!? I work(same employer for 20 yrs and I’m in my upper 30’s) , I’m intelligent, I’m not lazy, and I’m black. Yet still I am currently having trouble with housing and feeding my babies. The housing issue is beyond comprehension and food insecurities is real! This isn’t a color thing. It isn’t a “stop having kids if you can’t feed them” thing. And although I refuse to accept governmental assistance.. it makes me no better than anyone else who just wants to have a home and food! I could go into statistics of which race actually receives more governmental assistance than others.. but will it matter? Will some of you begin to rethink your stereotypes?!? I honestly don’t believe it will.
Just be mindful of your judgement.. all you need is ONE thing to happen in your life and it could easily be you! ❤
Tattoos and colored hair indicate other funds available. Plant a small garden. Find a food pantry. Are you employable or unemployable because of a rap sheet? Start on work on self sufficiency!

I remember when only certain items were permitted to be purchased on food stamps- assistance. There was a huge black market of cheese, milk bread along with stolen goods and usually exchanged for alcohol. This is something that needs fixed and was broken even more when Obama took office and was giving out free phones and trips to Disney land with a cash card.
There are fast food restaurants that accept EBT cards in many areas.
Get a job and don’t depend on state benefits! No one owes you anything for your bad life choices. Having children out of wedlock or the means to support those children is a decision that you made and you should be responsible for providing for them. Looks like you can find the money for a wig! I was recently in the Memphis area German town I believe and the area was nice but I’m sure that the residents were not sitting around waiting on government assistance.

That has to be tough on a single mother to take the time fto followup with the food stamp office when your working during the day and the office has limited hours.
