10:59 this part sometimes gets me up, I'll explain.
I was completing Drift events with a Tofu AE86 and that cutescene appear nearly made me laugh, because he talked about tuning(and could be serious) and the AE86 appeared in the background.
One of the more forgotten points that nfs 2015 got right for me was the progression system. All cars were unlocked from the start, but you gotta work to get that car you wanted and you needed better parts to progress, which i feel worked well. A shame that more modern racers didn't follow this route of progression and go the forza horizon route.
The game to me really could have been way more. But to me they were trying to be realistic in a Underground type game. That’s really difficult to do. The only thing I liked about the game was the different icon cars. Like Nakai-San’s RWB Porsche, or Ken Block’s hoonicorn. I didn’t care for Eddies Skyline or the M3 GTR because they weren’t like the original cars. Plus the fact of a Supra being in the game. Which the last time we saw one in a NFS game was Prostreet. I liked the car selection from the game, but I felt as though the game lacked things in almost every category. Car selection, customizations, cop chases, seasonal map changes, and storyline importance. Even online has gotten boring these days. My cousin told me there is nothing but cheaters on the servers now (Sore losers who like to side swipe you in a race. You know, they type of guy that no racing player wants to ace against.) Basically, this game is about to be one step away from total recall.

The worst part of the police isn't the police itself but that fact that you need to actively engage with said police in very specific situations to progress, like stay in pursuit for 5 minutes or cross two road blocks. If the police worked more as an answer to the old Underground question of: Why are there people driving around in dangerous ways and the police doesn't show up? The police could have been just a detail to the map for the player to just drive pass it.
I remember when playing the game doing all the types of driving in order leaving Pursuit for last, through all the game I was having fun just driving around and also relaxing knowing that the police wasn't really capable of arresting me but then when I had to intentionally lock my car at 50 km/h for 10 minutes to do a dumb challenge it's when I actually hated the police in the game.

The thing of what is interesting about this video is where the player gets intimidated from Spike and the player as the boxer beats up Spike.

I find it funny that NFS 2015 technically has "offline" mode and option but it still requires an internet connection to get past the loading screen and throwing into a private session. So this is also hidden feature from the game code as The Crew 1 exe
Underglow, more densed map, cop takedowns, wayy better customization, video editor, villian characters, better physics, unmute player, RB26 R34 engine, huge car list would’ve made this NFS 10x better.
So you didn't complain about the mute player in NFS Underground 1- Undercover but here? And you know NFS Underground 1-2 had like 20-24 cars. And if you talk about the 2f&f Skyline sound if you didn't know it is not even RB26 sound it is mixed with RB25 single turbo and bit of 2JZ with tubilar manifold (not even stock exhaust). EDIT: by those references I meant the logos, decals and more when making a car even in 4:24 you see Vic's Toyota and I'm prolly missing more than that.

Ya know, I never got the point of this game. What were you trying to achieve? In most wanted it was to get your car back. In Carbon it was to be the best racer in town/ put the prices together on what happened the night the player disappeared. In undercover, it was to bust crews involved in car smuggling. Etc.etc. I don't even know that Need for Speed 2015 was trying to accomplish. Even payback had a somewhat good narrative.
best I can say is trying to get the attention of car/racing icons and impress them with our crew of what we can do.

I agree with the statement at the beginning. The setting is exactly what NFS should have. If there was a sequel/remastered version for 2015 with everything being updated and improved like it was in the following games, it'd be a near perfect NFS game.

3:44 I did notice there is a "daylight cycle" in the game where there is a Sunset, and randomly in the middle of playing it cuts to this Sunset where you can see the sun if you're on a road high enough, and there's a little bit of daylight but not much.
It does imply that it takes place in multiple nights, but in a way that makes even less sense than taking place in one extremely long night. I think it would've been better if they just had it where "Sunset" would be right when you leave the garage, and the rest of your time is just Night until you go back to the garage.
Wish this game had day time.

I'd say it's realistic. Because there is no way in Hell that a Crown Vic should able to keep up with my 1100hp Aventador.
Maybe it was just me or maybe other people feel this way but when ur doing a mission and the other characters constantly spam ur phone telling u that they r still waiting for u, for me it was always Robin, every few minutes or even an hour would go by and she would call and it was really annoying, spike I see as someone who is trying to get his crew hyped to impress the icons in the city but idk about anyone else but if this were to happen in real life it would make feel slightly uncomfortable, Travis is a cool character I liked how he told to build what ur feeling on the inside, manuals missions were fun for me, they provided challenge and new ways to approach drifts
I liked the game ngl. Had a nice grip build NSX, but what killed it for me is the fucking gymkhana event with the cops. The cops are indestructible, the timer is really strict, and the car handles like butter on a hot pan

I'm pretty sure that this game would be next on the chopping board in the near future after The Crew 1 shutdown. Let's just hope we can possibly get an offline patch for this game officially from EA, otherwise that'd be extremely outrageous for most people who paid the game on consoles and owned it on Steam/Origin at full price.

Stupidest thing ever was making games online only I bought this game few years back for ps4 and I got home found out I had to pay for Psn to play the frickin game like online only is cool for free games or if you didn’t have to pay for psn or Xbox live to play them it’s like paying for a streaming service then still having to watch commercials why the hell am I paying then video games have just become a money grab and devs are putting less and less effort in and making increasingly shitty games I think rdr2 was the last game I was actually excited about and it’s sad we need to make games about having some fun again and not just a desperate money grab attempt
