People if you get confused on the prologue that I called the player Ryan Cooper, note this:
I only mentioned him for the sake of giving a name while going on the illusion of playing as someone else before we start driving in the 240 as the Undercover officer. Not because I think that we are playing as RC while I go with logical theory on who we play as in nfs games. Which is RC in Pro Street, 2 different player protaginists for Underground and Most Wanted/Carbon respectively, and here in Undercover.
But Pro Street uses a real world Ryan Cooper wasn’t there in Undercover
N4s do you know why he’s wearing a helmet. Because he’s to scared of cops and that’s why he is wearing a helmet
In 5:20 does Ryan knows how to whistle
Did you know N4s videos Easter Egg in Run when you driving or run if you see a car form opening intro of Pro Street you will see Ryan Cooper in the run its true
you are the undercover officer in the 350z. hell the intro mission with it is called "The audition" massive facepalm from me to you
NFS Undercover is like if James Bond had a racing game but instead of James Bond it's Jonathan Bend.
PICAZHUU there was a 007 racing game, well hidden racing minigame. In 007 Nightfire there’s a cheat code allowing you to drive the Shelby Cobra and race one of the SUV’s driven by the villains’ henchmen instead of doin the mission as it was intended.
James bond has a racing game its on ps1 EPIC FAIL @

Who is Jonathan Bend ?

2019: I SAID RIGHT NOW
Is it weird that I voiced it exactly like the characters 😂
2003: Ouch! That is seriously weak dude!
2007: yeah I get The guy one but he did not look pretty behind the wheel
@@datcat3390 2003: TOO THE WINDOW TO THE WALL.
2017: Money, bro!
The guy in the 370Z is the player from Undercover, where he is taking the test from Chase Linh, That's why in the cutscene she said "You had a quiet impressive run"
Well makes sense in a way. Also weird test to send officers in a coffin dance. I just had the illusion in sorta going to the RC Easter Egg. I just thought of what Chase said mean for a previous operation.
@@N4SVideos Well it does but I think those officers were safe during the test, no casulties whatsoever and I doubt it's RC easter egg
@@N4SVideos and btw there were probably cut missions for the other 2 cars, ironically enough the numbers are funny since in GTA 5, Devin only wants 5 major cars but one was in the cargo out of nowhere so that makes it 6
@@NismoRacer00 pretty sure Lamar stole the last one.

I loved Prostreet but I think EA should’ve took that year off making a game to develop Undercover more. It could’ve been a great game if it was developed more
Agreed.
Nfs undercover is truly underrated
GLITCHZZ Y4HYA Maybe the PS2/Wii version was, the PS3/360 version wasn’t that good
@@nikobellic3830 the thing is I played the ps2 version growing up and loved it but when I moved to the Xbox 360 I fucking despised it
GLITCHZZ Y4HYA I went from the Wii version to the PS3 version and the only thing I liked better about the PS3 version was online play
"I dont know which is worse, Payback or this."
Payback obviously.
At least in Undercover the cops aren't scripted outside the story and you don't have to make a sacrifice to the gods of RNG just to upgrade your car.
Another comparison between the SD and HD: for the final segment, in SD version, Chase drives the 911 GT2 (the red/black one, which belong to Rose and as the game's cover). In the HD version, she drives the M6.
The story of Undercover: only take a couple of weeks to came up with such a ridiculous, almost confusing story that tried to exist... Ever since the prologue and first cutscene, the story started off with no clear sense and most of us just like "what's going on? I don't get it." Nothing makes sense, and nothing set in stone.
The pros of the game:
music
garage
busted scenes
Plus map for me. The map is wide and not bland.
Govin Lock I like driving along the coast highway
@@govinlock8568 yeah the map is pretty good, the bad thing is that it feels dead
@@govinlock8568 and the "VeRy DaNgErOus" line
tbh in my opinion NFSUC had a veerry large map
Man undercover, even though the physics were all over the place, the graphics were kinda bad, and the story was somewhat confusing, I still love this game to bits, and it was my childhood. The soundtrack was one of if not the best in any NFS franchise (aside from NFS the run) I'm not sure why, but there is something to this game that makes me love it. If only black box wasn't making 3 games at the time and only focused on undercover, we could've gotten something MUCH more better.
I can improve the game by installing the Reformed mod: nfsmods.xyz/mod/1998
I am with you 100%
17:20 These are the subtitles: "You go watch the front door. You make sure nobody is following her. You go check the car."
19:36 Yep! He was trying to smuggle a fucking T-Mobile Sidekick out of Tri-City. Kacey said this in his video for NFS UC's half-baked PS2 & Wii version: "You can literally just put it in your pocket, get on a plane, and no one's going to question you. I spent this whole game thinking the package was just drugs, and they were just being vague for ESRB reasons... But no, it's a cellphone."
"clutch it in the gulag" that made me laugh so damn hard

11:15 THIS... is probably what you bought Undercover for. LOL
Nah, too small
Although this game has a bad story or a meh story in my opinion, I will always cherish this game, NFS The Run and NFS World because those games brought me into the amazing and at times not amazing universe of Need For Speed
0:54 Well, that's the thing, heat levels on this game doesn't mean anything except it just chances of the cops chasing you when you speeding or idle. WHY?
Police units will only escalates as you level up the wheelman(only when doing freeroam pursuit).
yes I Agree I always Aware Why Porsche 911 Always spawn When I Have 1 level Heat..
First off.....
VeRy DanGeRoUs!
4:58 I've used VltEd to play around with the game files. Carmen's Shelby is this slow (on this mission in particular) because it has the Lotus Elise's (the same car you're driving) as the performance data. On the 'Rematch' mission, however, her car has the normal Shelby GT500 performance data
THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO! I WAITED SO LONG
Hell yea, my boi Kimi Räikkönen was added to the vid!
What did you do?
Black Box: "putting banger-ass songs into Undercover"
And what does it cost you?
Black Box: "errrythang"
ironic: im playing this in ps2 and i see this video now lmao
I'm surprised Ronnie (MW2005Blacklist#3) didn't say how's your car running during the Chau Wu cutscene, because *THE BACKGROUND MUSIC THERE IS STRAIGHT FROM MIST WANTED 2005'S OPENING CUTSCENE WHERE WE RACE #15 CLARENCE CALLAHAN AKA RAZOR. The devs didn't even create original music for this game due to time constraints man....
I love the PS2 version of this game, it is maybe just a rip off of rockport, but that game has many missions and more entertaining. And also the “police job” is a good addition
VERY DANGEROUS!!
It's funny how the how the heat level increases based on the fines and not on how much you piss the cops🥴
I might as well spit this out since I haven't heard anyone else mention it yet:
What doesn't make sense to me is that in the HD version of this game, the cover car (Porsche 911 GT2 Speedhunters custom) is Rose's car. But in the PS2/Wii version, it's the car Cha Wu wants from you (and the car Chase is also after). Honestly, the whole story in the HD version makes zero sense whereas the PS2/Wii version makes a lot more sense because of the GT2's role in the game.
The PS2 is better and my advice is to complete the challenge series 1st as it gives $40,000 cash as a bonus of completing the challenge series
@@saadhasan2518 I agree. The PS2 version is better.
Plus the 911 GT2 on the PS2's cpver actually makes sense I agree on that part
@@saadhasan2518 Yep.
@@saadhasan2518 cover car doesnt need to in final part of story. For example Boxcut Nissan GT-R(Pro Street cover car) dont appear at anytime in Pro Street career mode.
i can say this: if this game wasn't rushed it would be much better
Idk, as much as Undercover pisses me off with its physics, AI, rubberbanding, graphics etc, I still can't bring myself to hate the game, even though it has nothing on gems like the previous BlackBox NFS games or Criterion NFS games that came after UC. Also, the soundtrack is so freaking good, I can't put it into words. Oh and Maggie Q (Chase) and mah senorita Christina Millan (Carmen) are also wins. I guess both UC and Payback are my guilty pleasures...
About the 370z intro, I think it's supposed to be us at the "previous undercover operation posing as a wheelman", like Chase said. Anyways once again I really like the video, you just can't fail to make me laugh. Keep it up, my man!
In the Xbox 360 beta build you drive a 350Z instead, and a traffic car triggers that pursuit breaker. Too bad the mission stops immediately still.
@@TheBreakingBenny Yeah, it's a shame the 350z got cut, as well as cars like the Subaru Impreza or the Buick GNX.
The 350z only appeared in the PS2 version including the Wii and PSP, even the DS.
@@caraandmalik2108 It exists in the 7th generation console version too, but is unused.
ngl, undercover is one of my favorite stories, one of the more realistic stories in the NFS series
Well, the characters are recorded with a camera unlike the most NFS games are computer-generated. The only NFS that had recorded the characters with a camera are in NFS Undercover and NFS 2015.
true also there is a reason behind the difference in cars in-game and the cutscenes because it wasnt possible to get the same cars used into the scene they were doing
And nfsmw 2005?
Nikolay Dqnkov I’m talking about the story, not the cutscenes
Decoy-Alan I’m not talking about good stories, i’m talking about realistic ones
Funny thing is on the SD version u can beat the hole game on hard with the Evo that only goes 180mph
I Love Nfs Undercover And The Soundtracks Are Good Too (In My Opinion) The Pendulum Songs Like Granite, The Tempest, And 9,000 Miles Are Amazing And Yeah Overall The Game Is Really Kind Of That Weird But I Love It!
This Is My Opinion In My Nfs Undercover
Another 3 possitive things about the game the busted scenes, police conversation (suprisingly), car damage.
8:57 "I got a sixth sense, that tells me you ain't worth *six cents* " Xzibit - Multiply
You're not playing Ryan Cooper. Cooper is caught by an officer in cop radio dialogue in this game.
*I NEEDED THIS, THANK YOU*
Undercover Story:Great
Undercover Graphic And Physic:Worse
Soundtrack, busted scenes, police conversation (suprisingly) and the car damage were the best part in this game.
350Z/Impreza WRX STi/DBS Get Cut,That's Suck
@@user-yi5vl8gl1n Not only that: Saleen S7, Buick GNX, Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 and some Acuras/Hondas from NFS Pro Street were cut and more.
And Lamborghini Reventon
Am I the only one that thinks the PS2 version is better than the PC version ? I had played both but I liked PS2's more .
Great video and before the vacation I like this too much
1.cinematic storyline
2.great cars
But one problem there is no drift.
There is "drift" glitch with AWD cars that can act like these NFS with brake to drift handling. Seems this was the first NFS to feature this early "Burnout" handling. To do this you have to tap the handbrake and slide with a very small angle with some AWD car and you'll see you'll lose some speed then you magically you regain it.
14:45 me driving in GTA online
*An EA logo pops out
*+40 sin*
*HD version*
To add a sin if I didn't hear I hear correctly, the police: Feds and SWAT showing up in a low heat level or in a tier 4 car and the fact when you reach wheelman lvl 2 State Patrol shows up in freeroam. When you reach lvl 6, the FBI shows up(Correct me if I'm wrong); overall the pursuit levels are bad.
Add one more: they made the feds look like a joke as they drive tier 2 police cars (Porsche 911 Turbos) while TCBPD's Tactical Response Team drives GTRs which are tier 1 and are far more useful to catch supercars.
*Other*
For the PS2 version, have no saying in that but if it does have tiers similar to the HD version, then it is ok as the Gallardo and the GT2 are both tier 2.
Removing the Gallardo Superllegera, Chysler 300C (Correct me if I'm wrong), a Subaru Impreza and an unmarked version of the civil cruiser(the police unit that is only found in the PS2 or Wii version). The vehicles mentioned are related to the HD version.
also if you look at the NFS undercover's files, the data for those cars actually exist
Nfs heat: took storyline from nfs undercover and made heat 10 times shorter G.S.C:101
One of my favorite nfs games
Why is he so underrated?
20:43 Rockstar are kinda busy milking GTA V until we stop buying it.....
I personally enjoyed the game and I think it's one of my favourite games in the franchise. And... call me crazy if you want to but, I enjoyed it more than NFS Most Wanted from 2005.
Because of the physics?
@@HeroManNick132 because for me personally NFS Most Wanted is way too long and the rubber band mechanic feels stronger in NFS Most Wanted... and I liked the physics of Undercover. And for graphics, I like the sunset feel of NFS Undercover and for a game from 2008, it looks amazing! NFS Most Wanted looked okay but kinda depressing
@@st0dy The filter of NFS Undercover makes me more sick than NFS Most Wanted 2005 Black Box added way too much bloom effect that literatelly overdone it. I always make sure the world detail is at least at low because at off the cars have barely any reflection. The handling for me was one of the worst for NFS games that ever experienced so frustrating that even with 0 traffic I couldn't make clean run without hitting a wall or something. Plus let's don't talk how Black Box experimented with the early brake to drift handling if you slide with AWD cars only with very low angle you'll see the mechanics are similar to these NFS with brake to drift handling. And for 2008 game even Burnout Paradise and NFS Pro Street had better graphics. Plus this game felt like half-unfinished NFS that has 0 polish and it has ridiculous bugs and glitches. Sadly EA focused more on NFS Pro Street and this game had more DLCs and it was more polished unlike NFS Undercover that was left half-unfinished. The only good things about this game is the soundtrack, car damage, busted scenes and police conversation (surprisingly it is better than NFS MW 2005 and way better than NFS Heat's). Car list and customization was decent but in NFS Pro Street these things were better. The A.I. sometimes was too easy and sometimes it was too hard it had some ruberbanding but not too extreme. Overall if Black Box had more time to finish this game and add more DLCs it could have been way better but for me is eh very mediocre game that is bellow average.
@@HeroManNick132 I can agree with you... if they focused on NFS Undercover and if they didn't work on ProStreet at the same time, they could have made it better but I still enjoy it... in fact it's one of my favourite NFS games... I know people would call me crazy but that's my opinion... I don't hate NFS Most Wanted, but I simply enjoyed it less... and NFS Undercover and NFS The Run are so underrated and I think they deserve some praise... and in fact those 2 games are some of my favourite NFS games to date
I would see that Calvin VS Nickel Boxing Match. Can't wait to see Calvin kick Nickel's ass faster than him on the Run at Extreme
I literally got into a petty argument about Undercover. I honestly don't understand people. If it had more time. It could've been better then Prostreet. But nooo. EA pressured Black Box and we got this
As much as I think this game is flawed and isn’t worth playing, I’ve gotta admit that the engine/transmission/general vehicle sound design is really good, especially for the slower cars
NGL I like this game
(The PS3/360/PC version)
BUT WHY DID EA RUIN BB?!?!?!
Agreed, though I wish it was more polished
@@NFSBeast2365 true. BUT F*KING EA HAD TO KILL BB
Because their latest games (ProStreet, Undercover, The Run) didn't sold very much
@@Otherface agreed
@@Otherface Maybe it would've been better if Black Box did not start on ProStreet at all...?
I liked this game,it was short but the missions were really fun.
You know the fact the second last pink slips cars suppose to be cars that we stolen with custom parts, not the stock cars from another tier
But at least they make Shelby GT500KR available in pink slips
You can find a mod or two that fixes this...
Yo! I was playing this recently!!
VERY DANGEROUS... for your time
@@konstantinosmichos5749 the whole game is *Very dangerous* tbh
Same, I still play this game to this date
Just played this in my 11 year old PS2 Slim, which is kinda simple looking
In my opinion, I like the idea of NFS Undercover, but the physics of this game is beyond stupid. It's not the worst Need for speed game, the worst, in my opinion, is need for speed Rivals. This one has a story, not too good, to be honest, the PSP Undercover is way better than the PC one, but the PC one is ok too, I guess. I like this game, it's ok, but not good, it's just there when you're bored or nostalgic.
I enjoyed the verdict, and the other verdicts, I really like how you're exposing some common sense problems, without being an expert in games. Keep it up!
2 sins here: 1. When I played this on PS3 for the first time, during the introduction narration, I thought that the person talking was the player only to find out that it was Lt Keller
2. That Nissan 370z we drove in the intro, that's the FiRST & LAST time we'll see that since we won't see it again in the game
It make sense, as player went to some parking lot, ditched 370z and get his hands on 240sx.
can't wait for your EWW NFSUC remake video day after tomorrow
See? Not everything in Black Box was perfect.
Most of the fans were looking at NFS Underground 2 and NFS Most Wanted 2005 for the most "perfect" and best NFS but sadly NFS Undercover is considered one of the worst NFS games. If this game was more polished and Black Box had like 1 year more time for development it could have been better than NFS Pro Street.
There is also another mistake about the drivers of the police cars like the Federal unit (Porsche 911) and the Super State unit (GTR) because if you go in photo mode while being chased by those police cars, you will see that the driver of those cars are not a police and the avatar/character of those police cars are similar to the racers' avatar or character
Because these cars are using same model as racer versions. It's called pre-set/pre-tuned.
@@michazmuda1477 And not having optional cop-based driver meshes.

Payback is MUCH worse, because Tyler Morgan and the other characters noone remembers.
Aki Kumura : Am I joke to you? (I know technically is from NFS Pro Street but at least he is the most memorable character there).
Oddly enough the cover car isn't obtainable its suppose to be ours but why was it given to Rosie though?
What’s good about the game: the busted scenes
Would be excellent if we could export the models and animations used in them.
Also to add 3 more good things:
- Soundtrack
- Car Damage
- And suprisingly the cop conversation.
My Sentence :
VERY DANGEROUS
I remember I played first the PS2 version, to me it was better than PC, the only confusing thing was that the final car was a Porsche 911 GT2 instead of the M6, which made things confusing on the cutscene where Chase runs away with Chau Wu´s car.
On a side note, I remember the Ford GT in that game would mostly do a forward flip on most jumps, kinda regret buying it since you would end up always being upside down on most scenarios. And the Clio V6 for some reason was slower than what it used to be in MW and Carbon.
15:05 Or have a totem of undying, or have extra rings like Sonic the Hedgehog, or have extra lives also like Sonic the Hedgehog, etc?
Or have a hostage or two on holdout like in Payday 2.
*Fuck custody, all my homies using 60 Dodge.*
Can you make the everything on the crew or forza Horizon thank you..

Here's my top 5 NFS games imo :-
1) NFS MW'05
2) NFS HP2 (PS2)
3) NFS HP'2010
4) NFS Rivals
5) NFS 2
The original creators were EA Seattle if I am correct which made all the games from '94-'02 and don't get mad if I like Rivals it's a really good game with a better handling model than all three of Ghost's Games as I consider Rivals to be a Criterion game as it has Criterion staff working the car sounds are awesome in Rivals the car list is great including my favourite cars such as Ferrari Enzo Ferrari Jaguar C-X75 Koenigsegg One:1 Lamborghini Veneno Mclaren P1 and the fact that it was made in 6 months but the map is still fun to play with is better than Payback and Heat's map my only problem is the bugs and the final event Grand Tour is one of my favourite events in NFS games I achieved 8:12:35 using an Enzo and the vame's free roam plaus a huge role especially the risk reward system build it up by winning races and escaping the police and reaching your hideout safely get busted and u lose it all and it was really well inplemented and I completed the racer career with getting wrecked ony 5 times
not gonna lie, undercover is basically a good prospect of a game but just executed badly
You could say that this is the first and only fast and the furious 1 movie in video game form. I mean think about it, a cop goes undercover in the racing scene and lands a girl that is either from the family or crew and when his cover is blown he has to take down the target. And you are also "sneaking around" and stealing stuff. Aside from the fact that Brian let Dom go in the first fast and furious movie this feels exactly like that movie in video game form.
one thing I hate about NFS undercover is that...
You tried to redline a stock tier 1 car with heat level 2 and then the police be going after you.
Like seriously, I just did a redline and i didn't even hit a car or somethin to make me accused of something lol
Still a good game. I liked it.
It is mediocre game but ok I respect your opinion.
Thank you for doing it finally.
In psp version you drive a heavily modified Ford GT as your first car and its FAST AS FUCK!
In psp you start in an Ford Gt. And you start in sunset hills

undercover is underrated
Just to reply briefly, there is a random police dialogue from a cop transporting Ryan after arresting him so how would you say that in minutes 0:55 that the character is actually Ryan?
It makes no sense unless it is his twin brother?
How about how every single cutscene they talk in the most shaded areas
Or that every single antagonist talks to you as if it was a WWE event 😂
Don't forget that Nickle had a blue Viper in the cutscene before the tournament started and somehow he switched to a charge r/t when the race started.
Nfs undercover could have been great, but the new engine held it back. Even if the ps2/wii version was a buggy and choppy mess, at least I could have fun with it since it ran off the old engine. The next gen game was just a massive disappointment.
This game could have been more good if they didn't rushed it.
