Man thanks again I look at this from time to time to remember everything I learned from you :) thank u mate
Glad to hear it! ☺️
I've never been this early on a vid omg I clicked so fast !!! I was so keen on this since I saw your Instagram short
Haha thank you for checking it out! It's a really fun scheme, hopefully you find it useful!
You, Sir, are an artist.
That's very kind of you to say! Thank you!
Super amazing paint job and tutorial!!!!
thank you very much for sharing! :)
Thank you very much! And not a problem at all, always happy to share my techniques :)
Woot! Inspiring bro! 💙🎨🎨🎨
Cheers boss gonna use this for a 40k plague ogryn kitbash, you're a champion
That sounds sick! Could you send me a photo when you’ve done it please? Would love to see your results!
@@SpensPainting absolutely will do, still cobbling the biggun together but I'll send you when he's done!
Great vid mate ❤
Thanks very much!
I was unfamiliar with Otto, so did some digging. I'll say he's part of a larger model! haha. Great work! :D
Haha he certainly is! When it's done The Glottkin will easily be the biggest model I've worked on! Might take me a while though! Thanks very much
@@SpensPainting You're welcome. I'm looking forward to the completed model, whenever you get it wrapped up. :)
A really clear and easy to follow tutorial, thank you. Subscribed )O(
Thank you so much for watching and the sub!
great tutorial! would love to see plaguebearers next~ (I hope) :D
Thank you! Who know's what we shall see next :D
Looks awesome. Did you ever finish your Glottkin? I looked through your insta and didn't see it.
Thanks! And I didn't in the end, it's still knocking around in storage so I might pick it back up at some point
@@SpensPainting Damn, was hoping to see it. Were you planning on doing the big guy's skin the same way?
Do you varnish before you do the streaking grime ......
Not usually, only when working with transfers
I can use streaking grime without varnishing first?
Yep, just be careful to make sure all the paints are cured and that you don’t rub them too hard
Nice work, do you think these techniques would work well on larger models? Like plagueburst crawlers and the bloat drones?
All techniques can be applied to all models in my opinion. Just change the death guard green to a blue and you got yourself a dirty space marine.
Is it possible to do this without an airbrush?
It is, it just takes longer really. You would use glazing for the skin tones
@SpensPainting Do you know if Hobby Workshop ships to the USA? I want to follow this guide for death guard by I haven't been able to checkout the stuff in the cart
Any chance you could do a pusgoyle blight lord video pls
When putting a Citadel shade thru the airbrush, what PSI do you use ? I have tried doing that in the past and got really bad webbing
I have my PSI around 15 almost all the time. I found with the shades you have to be very delicate with your trigger control and only spray in very small bursts
@@SpensPainting Thank you !!!
I never thorght of useing shades through my airbrush
They're really good! Obviously they're very thin so you have to be a little bit careful not to overspray with them but they can make some really nice effects
where did the music gooooooo lol
