Wait I have a question so when I get into the start of the safe mode and I have the usb plugged into the controller into the PlayStation and so when I press the ps button to get into the options nothing happens other than the controller blinking once really fast

@@Ftnitesweatz at 7. it means you reset your ps4 but not your software/operating system, but at 8. It resets your ps4 entirely, including the software/operating system, it's like you time travelled back to the day you got a brand new ps4, also for advanced explanation, you have to reinstall the ps4 from scratch
Ok so I got a new controller and now everytime I watch a movie and plug in my headphones my controller turns off and I don't have my power save on or the rest mode on. Are you saying all I need to do is leave my controller hockey up to the wire it came with , turn the gaming system on and off a few times and everything will go back to normal? Desperately need help mate. Updated to 8.50 and my game drive stopped working altogether. I watched another video and became aware that 8.50 updates the external storage format so that it doesn’t work with any other OS. I really am freaking out and not really sure what to do as I have a ton of games that I do not want to lose. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻.
@@Persuadees my brother just took it to a shop and they fixed it. If the power button is like pressed down and stuck then it’s gonna be stuck in safe mode and you’re gonna need to try to get it unstuck. You get me?

@@chrisj9638 Hey I used initialize (the first initialize option) and it worked out. It really depends what games you have. If you play fifa, NBA, NHL and have ultimate teams all your players remain untouched cuz its saved in the cloud. If you play story mode games I'm not too sure but all your trophies you earned dont get deleted.
@@chrisj9638 should be fine tbh. I dont know too much about that game but another option you could try is to unplug your ps4 from the back outlet then wait 20min and try to see if it works, but initialize is your only option if the other options didnt work for u

When your also inside of Safe mode, the controller light in my case never turned on but you can still use the Dpad and analog sticks to navigate it.
I can’t even do that cause my power button is Brocken like the cover
