@@dilipdarai1081 thr only data you will lose is your gallery data and saved data....saved data is basically offline progress like a campaign. You cant really reinstall without losing data but you can try updating the ps4 again, if that dosent work then try restoring to default settings, if that dosent work than try initializing your ps4 but make sure to pick number six not number 7, if you initialized your ps4 (#6) then it will say your account is gone but just sign back in your account, it will say that your library will have nothing in it but just give it a cool minute or two and all the games will come back. Give me more information if this doesent work for you
If this does not work and shows cannot start ps4 then try this, I struggled 3 days to get this to work, Get your internal hard disk(main hard disk inside ps4) out of your ps4. You need pc or laptop and sata connector that you will use to connect your hard disk to your pc or laptop. Once connected download AOMEI partition assistant software, use that software to wipe your hard drive(ps4 connected hard disk) it took 4 hours for me,then right click your ps4 hard disk on that software, choose create partition, select FAT32 and start the process. After that insert that hard disk back to your ps4, install system software from your pendrive on your ps4 and now it will work without a problem. REMEMBER FAT32 FAT32 This worked for me after trying everything, if this does not work then most probably your ps4 has hardware problem and remember there is also possible that your harddisk is broken but it connects to your pc then that's not the case i think.
Correct, as most support specialists know this is almost a garunteed fix for any kind of HDD situation. But the problem is how do you recover the lost data during this procedure when the PS4 drive is not recognizable to windows. That is the big 1 million dollar question that needs to be answered and I been searching and searching for hrs trying to find a damn resolution to this problem.

I just got he ps4 last week and i turned the ps4 off without it shutting down.I was so freaked out and this vid helped me.Bro thank u so much even if it meant to restart my progress.
I unfortunately unplugged my ps4 from the power cable and it got stuck to this and had to do this and lost everything that i didn’t save to psn cloud :( but i can play now so!!!
Also a tip of how to prevent the ps4 from doing this again is to make sure that all sides except for top has space to breath, you need about 12 inches of space for all sides especially the back because it blows out the most heat and also clean your ps4 but dont use a dam vaccum to clean your ps4....use a air compressor can or a Q tip...you can use anything but a vaccum or a wet towel. These are important because the heat can burn out the HDMI Chip processor in the ps4 which can cause this problem, the dust can make it even hotter and louder, and also the heat can damage the main ps4 chip overall so make sure that you have 12 inches of space for your ps4...and also make sure that you dont have your ps4 on rest mode to download games then you get on it and then you repeat what you did again since the ps4 is still on and it dosent have enough time to cool down itself.
If you are still having problem, kindly download the ps4 update, you ll find it on google. Put in your usb as per instrutions and load the update using usb or flash drive
EVERYONE! Mine did the same thing, I followed his steps but just brought back to where it said you have to use a usb flash drive! What you have to do is turn off your PS4 all day way! Then manually turn on your PS4 with out the controller! Hold it till you hear the second *beep* a list of reboot will pop out and click #2 Update system. It'll then ask you to download via USB, A Cable and through the internet! Choose the internet! Let it load and bam! It installs it with out the need of a USB flash drive. Youre welcome!!!

I found a way to fix it! This worked for me. I hit my PS4 a LOT until ut fixed. Im nit joking. But dont hit it t hard. Just keep on doing it until it works. Edit: This is the 1st time it worked for me. I flipped my ps4 over and started hitting it and then I unplugged it and plugged back in. As it was loading, I kept hitting it then it showed the ps4 symbol and loaded in with all m data! Y'all should try it too!

How to reinstall it without losing data

@@helpemma7609 Did you reinstall the newest version of the ps4 system software? If not you can download the newest version from here & try the install again.

Make sure you follow the download instructions on the site Exactly as it's written so the ps4 can find it on the usb drive.
The download instructions will also tell you how to start the installation.
