      @@buckbuckboom6241 yeah, I’m not sure that’s exactly how that works. That’s still a not a lot of calories for a normal person his size much less an athlete. If he wants to bulk up he needs to eat for it, humans don’t gain weight by starving themselves, no matter how genetically gifted

      @@AllForOnee Anyone who goes to the gym and has bulked up knows you need to increase your calorie intake significantly, especially if your as active as a professional athlete. Him being naturally skinny and super active (cardio) means he needs to eat a ton to bulk.

      @@TheMCJ2011 protein shakes help, couple scoops in some almond milk and that’s 50-60g of protiein for around 300 calories for most whey proteins

    Definitely not a bulk but he knows what works for his body.. I doubt he’s lifting heavy anyway.. he’s probably doing more resistance training circuits, in addition to his specific football drills

    Throw a couple or a few protein shakes in there to go with the snacks.
    I remember playing college baseball, I had to eat ~5,000 cal/day. A big help with meeting that goal was protein shakes

      @@maipantoon7823 One doesn't throw 91 mph by not focusing on being explosive. Needless to say, if protein shakes have been utilized in numerous athletes' diets to increase size, while also keeping them explosive, adding muscle mass does not automatically equal one losing their explosiveness.

      Do you think playing in the NFL means they have an expertise or even close to that with respect to nutrition? Anyone with a basic sense of nutrition knows a minimum of .7 grams per pound of bodyweight is needed for protein in order to grow muscle. But the nfl player doesn't abide by it so therefore the science is wrong?

    All the guys saying "he should be eating 8000 calories"😂 That's what you do if you're an amateur, who wants to get bigger at all costs, because you think it's going to help you get laid.........he's a pro athlete, and his livelihood depends on him being fast and super explosive. So when pro athletes bulk, they have to do it carefully and methodically. He wants to weigh 230 pounds, and remain super lean - not weigh 230 and be a muscly meathead. Lebron James is 280 and barely has any muscle on him. That's the aim

    Compare NFL diets to premier league football (soccer) diets is night and day. Hash browns, bacon, honey buns, white spaghetti instead of brown, garlic bread all in one day? NFL players still seem to manage to perform tho so maybe football teams need to relax a bit and leave more space for enjoyment
