The Stones are great, a great blues rock band. Influenced generations of bands afterward. Love them. But the Beatles have a wider range of fans and have had a wider range of influence. The music impacts far more many people, starting ealier in their lives. Most people get in rock music early teens maybe a few years before. People start appreciating the Beatles starting as young children. And the lryics are more meaningful starting from an early age all the way into old age. The Beatles are objectively a more important band. Stones are great though.
