    This is one of my all-time favorite Stones songs. I love how they are all having a great time -- no one is taking himself seriously (least of all Charlie and Bill!), and Keith's eye roll at 3:36 is perfection! RIP, Charlie -- you were always my favorite.

    and there it was, Charlie Watts passes at 80 years old.
    I was listening to She's So Cold and remembering my sister and me dancing to it at Club 37.

      Oddly this always reminded me a bit of Lou's NEW SENSATION.

    This is a classic Mick Jagger vocal. This is what makes his voice and vocal style unique. A conventional singer would sound silly. Mick elevates what is a pretty tame guitar riff by Stones standards to new levels by his cool vocals

    I love how in these videos it would appear that the band only exists to let Mick have a good time. He's like a dog they are taking for a walk. Jagger is the only one that really seems invested at all, the drummer in particular always looks like he's a million miles away.
    Seriously, try watching one of these promo videos under that pretext - that Mick is forcing the others to play against their will for his own amusement. The thought is entertaining.

      I love this song primarily because of the bass line and the drums. Watts and Wyman are just so solid. They are essentially playing the same riff on repeat but tweaking each one just enough that it's subtly different each time through. Brilliant.

    I’ve always thought the guitar work on this track was genius...so clean, chimey, delicate...and intricate with the interplay between Ronnie and Keith…but still edgy Rock guitar. And then the counterpoint of Bill’s bass around it, under it, all through it. The Stones are the best. One of my favorite tracks of all time. And Mick - such urgency in the vocal. And, of course, Charlie...coolest Rock drummer ever.
