This is the music my generation grew up listening to. I think it's a wonderful thing that young people are discovering these classic tunes be it from car or perfume commercials. Be blessed and rock on.
Great song but the animation cracked me up! Was waiting for a big foot to come down and squash everything, then John Cleese to come in and say "and now for something completely different"!!😂
This song "She comes in colors" brings back sad memories from the Vietnam war. We were doorgunners for an army aviation assault helicopter company. Whenever one of our "choopers" went down and we lost our comrades some guys would play this particular song by the Rolling Stones. I listen to it often to remember what the whole Vietnam experience was back then.
My dad raised me on all types of classic rock and he said this song he dedicated it to me when I was a baby because he would dance with me to it and now whenever I listen to this song it reminds me of him. He's still around but not in good shape but I wish I can go back to the days where we danced ❤️❤️

Amazingly beautiful song. One of the most underrated melodic masterpieces. In my opinion the Stones' greatest song. Next is Ruby Tuesday. Big Beatles fan here, but have to give Mick and company credit; this song is musical heaven.
The way this video just perfectly represents the beauty in every existing women, no matter the skin colour, religion or ethnicity. It appreciates every women on this world and not leaving out any one. It sending out the message that all women are beautiful in the purest, most beautiful way. I’ve never heard a song that appreciates women without somehow sexualising them
Cin, what century are you living in? Like women don’t sexualise themselves, sexualising comes from the person who misinterprets what women wear or do, just to objectify them. Generally your opinions are very misogynistic as you should probably start educating yourself. And beauty is subjective, whether it is defined by physical traits, by actions or personality. I just thing that this song honours women of all race and colour, and it doesn’t only have to do with their looks but only by the fact that they’re women, who have great personalities and minds. It’s showing the beauty of a lady, which means that there is in every women beauty. Don’t be so close-minded, it doesn’t work these days.
Nicholas Rangel, exactly. In so many countries, sexualising of women has become almost a part of it’s society. And what’s worst is that, when often women are seen wearing wearing clothes that show a little more skin than the public likes, and are commented on so sexually, the women are the one to blame for enticing the shameless men. And so often you see in the large screen or tv shows, women being used as comic relief, female characters that contribute nothing into the plot, just there to show how the male lead is an absolute perv. What’s sad is that even after all this change happened and people are starting to be openminded, these faults still exist, and frankly I don’t think they will disappear anytime soon. Anyways, I just thought it was very refreshing to see a song that morally appreciates the beauty of a women without mentioning her ass, her face, her lips or any physical trait, and the fact that this is a song from the 60s.
The piano is so cool. Two chorus before the verses; wild song, so simple but mysterious playfull. The Rolling Stones had so many underrated classics. And it holds up.
I heard this song on a tv ad today and had to Shazam it. What a joy to discover it's The Rolling Stones. This sounds so fresh and cool. Easily my new favourite of there's. My dad would be so impressed. I grew up with dad playing the Stones all the time.
1966 Paint it Black: "No colors anymore I want them to turn black" 1967 She's a Rainbow: "Coming colors in the air, oh everywhere, She comes in colors"
I first heard this song in 1985, at 19 years old. I was a Stones fan for several years at that point, had all their well-known albums and Exile was my favorite. But my new friend Mark in the Air Force invited me and my girlfriend to dinner with him and his wife. He knew I was a musician, and a Stones fan, and he said "Hey I bet you never heard this before." And played it, and was right. This song has ascended in popular view, but that is an internet phenomenon. When it was just records, played on a turntable, this song was ALMOST forgotten.
The piano in this is transcendental. The music and lyrics go together into a calming flow. I can put it on repeat for hours while doing menial tasks and not think, just work and stay focused. And I am A.D.D.
I think most of you all who replied to my comment misunderstood me. You shouldn't make yourself pretty or go to extremes for anyone or try to impress anyone but yourself. Do something that'll make you feel good, not anyone else - man or woman. The only reason I replied with "No woman should need validation from a man" is because the OP said we ALL do it for MEN, therefore speaking for all of us as if we are all insecure people who require validation to sustain and survive.
My 4 month old babe LOVES this video! It stops her crying, it entertains her, it allows me to do something like go to the loo for its duration! Thank you!! Never take it down!! It’s also BEAUTIFUL ❤️👌🏽
If you can get a copy of it, I recommend watching the BBC's "Psychedelic Britannia" from a few years ago. There was a definite link between childlike or naive imagery and psychedelia, certainly in the 1966-67 years.
IDK why whenever I hear this song I instantly get the image of someone finding the love of his/her life and falling immediately hard that they start seeing colors, that's a trip bruh hopefully when I meet my forever love I see her coming at me in colors like a queen, such a damm happy song btw

They do come in colors.
So so beautiful, never heard it before but brought a tear to may eye and I am a 70 year old bloke.. Bravo
This is the music my generation grew up listening to. I think it's a wonderful thing that young people are discovering these classic tunes be it from car or perfume commercials. Be blessed and rock on.
Couldn't agree more Dean. They have no idea of the buried treasure that awaits their ears.
13 and i listen to this, David bowie, mcr, and green day. :)))))
Proper hippy music!
Great song but the animation cracked me up! Was waiting for a big foot to come down and squash everything, then John Cleese to come in and say "and now for something completely different"!!😂

What a beautiful kaleidoscope to go with a great song. My favorite Stones song.
So sad to hear a cheerful song brings back such sad times for you. God Bless!
Sad story but thanks. Today I had this song in mind I will remember your comment for Ever! God Bless from Rotterdam nl
I’m sorry that you were subjected to such horror man. Music brings the memories right back though don’t it. Good or bad.
The war is over , stop fighting, order, She brings colours and peace.
my brother Pat was paratrooper then with 3rd Cavalry Airborne
My dad raised me on all types of classic rock and he said this song he dedicated it to me when I was a baby because he would dance with me to it and now whenever I listen to this song it reminds me of him. He's still around but not in good shape but I wish I can go back to the days where we danced ❤️❤️
Awww sweetheart, dance, and never stop dancing. Daddy is with you. Much love.
me too, despite any era👍✌
I am 70. I had or heard them all. Satanic Magesty was the best Stones album of them all and one of the top 5 of he era. Bar none. Let it Bleed was up there with it. Outstanding work.
I played this song in my car while i was taking my sister to her wedding. I couldn't help one tear
well, you shouldn’t help her if she’s going to be a sap, I mean you were driving too! KIDDING! Perfect moment to cry unless she’s an ugly crier like me! i’d have to r/schedule the wedding. 😞😊
Me neither right now

Amazingly beautiful song. One of the most underrated melodic masterpieces. In my opinion the Stones' greatest song. Next is Ruby Tuesday. Big Beatles fan here, but have to give Mick and company credit; this song is musical heaven.
Yes Ruby Tuesday too!i like It even Rodd Stewart version
One of my favorite Stones songs. It's like a celebration of life
The way this video just perfectly represents the beauty in every existing women, no matter the skin colour, religion or ethnicity. It appreciates every women on this world and not leaving out any one. It sending out the message that all women are beautiful in the purest, most beautiful way. I’ve never heard a song that appreciates women without somehow sexualising them
It is very sweet. The video does even more justice. Truth. 🙂🌈

You probably got it from a Apple commercial if you were a 90s kid
Charlie Watts' drum sounds clearer ever since I heard he passed away.
R.I.P. True Gentleman of Rock.
The piano is so cool. Two chorus before the verses; wild song, so simple but mysterious playfull. The Rolling Stones had so many underrated classics. And it holds up.
Idk why but this is making me cry. This is amazing. Thanks RUclips recommended, you may live another day.
I'll tell you why; because compassionate humans weep in the face of recognizing pure beauty in life, and that's what this is.
One word...menopause
It's making me feel emotional too and i don't know why...
The power of music. Real music.

I heard this song on a tv ad today and had to Shazam it. What a joy to discover it's The Rolling Stones. This sounds so fresh and cool. Easily my new favourite of there's. My dad would be so impressed. I grew up with dad playing the Stones all the time.

Its crazy how many people come back to this everyday... this song is masterpiece!!!!!!
Your name is unfortunate, but I agree with what you say
At least weekly...
Absolutely it is and it is one of my favorites from the Stones 🤩
It’s wonderful how the song sounds both dated and timeless simultaneously. Encapsulates the era it’s from but fits any time period.
This song makes me feel like when you open a music box and the tiny dancer pops up and starts twirling its a wonderful dancing feeling of the mind
Awwwwwwwww It is sweet like that.
These English people were taking a lot of L.S.D when writing these songs
EXACT SAME imagery I get when I listen to this! Cheers Lee!
Spot on x
That's exactly what I think also with that opening piano 💯🔥🤘
The 1964-1971 era was the best period for Stones music. So many great tracks.
The piano in this is transcendental. The music and lyrics go together into a calming flow. I can put it on repeat for hours while doing menial tasks and not think, just work and stay focused. And I am A.D.D.
I'm on my 20th replay... I get it
Rest in peace my dear Charlie. You will be severely missed.

A beautiful attempt at putting the beauty of women into words.
@Veronica Urban Nah, some of us just do it for ourselves
I think most of you all who replied to my comment misunderstood me. You shouldn't make yourself pretty or go to extremes for anyone or try to impress anyone but yourself. Do something that'll make you feel good, not anyone else - man or woman. The only reason I replied with "No woman should need validation from a man" is because the OP said we ALL do it for MEN, therefore speaking for all of us as if we are all insecure people who require validation to sustain and survive.
Thankyou David!

If you can get a copy of it, I recommend watching the BBC's "Psychedelic Britannia" from a few years ago. There was a definite link between childlike or naive imagery and psychedelia, certainly in the 1966-67 years.

Not a typical Rolling Stones song, but one of my top 5 by them. Brian Jones plays wonderful Mellotron.
Too bad Jagger went for the power play, in pushing Jones out, though he was getting stoned too much..

I just had the toughest time trying to find this song. I only had the piano part in my head and kept trying to type "70s song with piano in it" and that obviously was too broad. but we're here now and that's great.

Same here. Been looking for this song for quite a while and only remembered the piano part. I was trying to find it by whistling the piano part in a song search engine but failed. I finally heard it on the radio just today and the producer told the name of the song and the artist!
Glad you made it. Nicky Hopkins on piano, you won't regret following the body of work he left behind.
I heard it recently and remembered it from a paint commercial in the 90s. Could only remember "colours" from the lyrics. It took a while to find it again.
