#TheRollingStones
One of the most underrated Stones songs ever.
Always have a comment saying It.
Never underrated in my book . Love it💚
Not at my house.
Its actually a Jimmy Page song.
@@toddbarnett5260 He plays on it but written by Jagger/Richards.
Whos happy that wood join them
Charlie passed away today and there will never be anybody like Charlie he's the gentle quiet gentleman and father to the crazy rolling Stones love you Charlie r.i.p
And sadly...this is the end of the Rolling Stones as a band...but one way or another the surviving members will roll on in one way or another...Mick & Keith still have a lot of music to share w/all of us.
@@beckiebuist803 yes I certainly agree with you Mick,Keith and Ronnie will keep rocking on but there will never be another Charlie Watts
@@georgemathie8123 I know...so lucky i got to see them 4 Xs, still life tour 82' twice, voodoo lounge/urban jungle tour 94' and the bridges 2 Babylon tour 97'...
@@beckiebuist803 I never saw them, but my mom did a couple years ago & was ENCHANTED, so that was fabulous :)
Was a shock to hear he has passed away.I was a fan since my 14 year of life and I am 45 years old today. The Stones have always been with me and I started to fear the day they would have to go.8 years long I was fearing it.
And now the day has arrived - Stones are closed.
I was so sad I couldnt write one word to comfort the Stones and their families.
Now I can and I send the warmest wishes to Charlies Watts Family and to the Rolling Stones and their families.
Must be a huge loss - but must have been a long wonderful and rich time you had with him to remember on and bath in warm memories of all of those...Thank you for all the good summer events we had because of you,Stones.
Stay strong dear Stones and families ! RIP Charlie Watts !
The Stones at their best.
Great song great band Patti Scialfa on backing vocals.
Keith just comes up with riffs like it's nothing. This is one of his best and most underrated!
@@nbvw3 It's Jimmy Page on lead guitar 🎸
@@MarieLuvsNatesolo part
@@ferm8103 I still think Ronnie Wood is a better lead than Keith Richards
Keith wrote in his auto-biography that he and Mick almost got into fight in this video and it's pretty clear to see in this video XD
I love "Life"
Surprised Mick and Keith were still alive after this was shot! To say they were PISSED AS HELL at each other around this time would be an understatement.
I was wearing a Rolling Stones T shirt in Walmart last Sunday when they started playing this song over the speaker system.
That’s good luck!!!
Gonna see them in June 2024 in Philly…can’t wait. Seen every tour since the 70’s.
I hear ya rob. All the way back to the great JFK stadium. See ya there
@@SeanDonahue-f6s It’s only rock n roll but I like it!
the guitars on this track are out of this world
It's Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin on lead
Happy 80th birthday, Keith Richards!
Keith Richards rocks.
He is a true Rock N Roll legend.
Yes he is!
It would be nice if they add this song to their current setlist.
What do you mean by that?
Mick’s vocals are so good on this song
Inspired
Mick Jagger is a force of nature.
I saw the Stones live this summer, and Mick’s vocals were fantastic
Love Micks hair in this video
This song kicks ass!
You can tell thats Jimmy's Solo
This Song Is Good
My favorite Rolling Stones song.
И моя! Объективно крутая ударная песня!

My favorite Rolling Stones video....and a rockin' album....f' the naysayers!

Jimmy Page on guitar. My favorite Stones song.
I can't imagine the world with no Rolling Stone's. They are in a league of their own.
I rather can imagine the Rolling stones without the world
You're totally right, honey ❤
We live in The Rolling Stone Age
@@rainerschmees8698 Good one :)
I'm not looking forward to that. Bad enough with no Charlie.
I remember summer 1986 , I was sixteen watching this on MTV , featuring Jimmy Page on guitar solo , Awesome 👌!!!
This is a bad ass dangerous track. You get Stones and Zeppelin in same track. You can't get any better than this.
Way underrated
Mick's hair ALWAYS looks great.
Mick with that lion’s mane !
During the shoot, Mick and Keith were actually on the fight
Classic
There the Goats of Rock & Roll..😊
Love ya, Keith
I was a new RIP/Ranger in the A Co. 75th Ranger Regiment in 1992. I was a huge Stones fan, but scared as all get out getting to the new unit. When one of the barracks windows was open and someone with a stereo system that could be heard a half a mile a way was jamming this song. Made my first day a lost nicer!
Wow never heard before good one
EPIC STONES JULY 2024
The drama, the hair. You have to love it.
I love it
Wow , just wow ,
THE greatest Rock Band in history so far.
That isn't true or correct.
There are much better Bands.
@@alanstrom2221nah you wrong.
This song is hugely underrated.
@Mick Jagger ah Mick ha s so much spare time he now looks for a good chat with random fans.. best times to live these days
One of their best.
I agree . I think it’s really really good
yes sir
I agree totally
Must confess I learned of this song four months ago but it rapidly became my Stones' favourite. After all, it's not every day you can get Jimmy Page invited for your Gig
My post 70's favorite Stones song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Post 70's? They had tons of 80's and 90's tunes!!
86!
Love this
This is an awesome song. The riff is amazing. High energy! Mick delivers as they all do as usual! ❤️❤️❤️
Jimmy page of Zeppelin played guitar on this song on the studio album you do realize this
Jimmy Page plays the guitar solo on this one.
el sonido de la primera guitarra es de estudio donde jugo jimy page
One of my most favorite songs from the Rolling Stones!
My fave!
This song!!💯
They played this song first when i saw them at the old Gator Bowl with Living Colour. Perfect song to kick it off with.

You spelled Led Zeppelin wrong. Led Zeppelin, Greatest of All Time!
Jimmy Page on Guitar solo! Amazing song! Rest in Drum Heaven Charlie Watts...one of the all time greats on the skins and truly under rated. You are missed, especially from your drummer fans!
Sorry Jim,I didn't see Jimmy Page in this song at all.
@@paulb.2125 It's the studio version, music video, Jimmy Page did the guitar solo in the studio, that's why he's not in the video!. Google it
Wow...they should have put him in the video.
As if he couldn’t contribute to the song without being in the video 🙄
You realize this isn’t live right ? 🤣
Where was the guitar solo? I never heard less than two guitars playing at any point
80s Industrial Video👍🤘💪👌
That's pure rock!
Mick Jagger - lead vocals
Keith Richards - electric guitar, backing vocals
Ronnie Wood - acoustic & electric guitars
Bill Wyman - bass guitar
Charlie Watts - drums
Jimmy Page - lead guitar
Bobby Womack - backing vocals
Don Covay - backing vocals
Kirsty MacColl - backing vocals
Patti Scialfa (Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band) - backing vocals
I have been to many concerts but the 81 Stones Tour was the best damn show ever.
Dallas. Cotton Bowl. Halloween '81. Pouring rain. Water almost up to the knees on the floor. Mick and Keith never flinched.
I like the tension between Mick and Keith, gives the video an edge
Tension...de quelle nature ?
Like patti & jerry too.
At it was real too. Even Keith's swing at Mick!
they look at each other like they're gonna throw down. it's like they're pissed at each other but are too into jammin' to actually drop their instruments and Go.
They were really at odds when this was filmed.
🇦🇷 ❤ 🤜
Remember spirit
One of the best Jagger vocals
agree with you bill
Lol he can’t sing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@user-wk2qp8cp8x You sound moronic lol
This song is marvelous!
A Rolling Stones highlight!
The essence of their swag
Love this song! What an amazing single!
The interaction between Mick and Kieth in this video is very appropriate, considering the state of the band at the time.
I was going to say the same. This was around the time Mick decided he was going solo, and there was bad blood between he and Keith over it.
Wow that was an acting I'm telling you that was real angst they were at each other's throats back then
@@paulhession4807 Got that right, mate!
They try to hide it as much as possible, but Mick and Keith aren't friends anymore, they have a deal that when the cameras are rolling, they are friends, after that, they go live their lifes without that whole friend stuff
(They don't hate eachother, but they just don't want to talk to eachother)
In Keith's biography he in fact admits he really wanted to hit Mick during the making of this video. There was also an incident around this same time where Charlie Watts actually punched Mick after Mick woke him up in the middle of the night. Mick must have been pretty obnoxious then to make Charlie that mad. 😂
My favorite song Love Stones R.I P.Charlie 💔🙏
This and Almost hear you sigh,so underrated
Супер!!!❤❤❤
Great song from the best band in the world.
One of the best Stones tracks ever, that's for sure. A song like this would be the biggest hit for other bands - in the Stones' history it's treated like a footnote. Don't know why it's so underrated. The Stones made some really bad videos over the years, but this one's a highlight, too.
Probably because it was real. They all wanted to beat the crap out of Jagger around this time.
This did well at the time iirc. Like top 10 on all charts and on every FM station. New classics just always get lost in the shuffle years later.
Uhhh..no. This is awful.
@@curly_wyn go away troll.
Yeah there are bands that seemed to have done better with a song like this. It's odd that it happens.
One of the best Stones songs. Perfect guitars and Charlie Watts playing as a God. And what to say about these furious backing vocals, with Bobby Womack??? So help me God...
Page on lead
Patti Scialfa, too.
Plus they got Steve Lillywhite to produce, which gave them that extra "punch"
@@MrRugbyloosehead lillywhite is a genius - in 1983 alone he produced Field day by marshall Crenshaw - U2 War and the crossing by Big Country - possibly my three favorite albums that year
Jimmy Page was lead guitar on this song.
Solid
Considering what the band was going through at the time, Keith looks like he's really giving his all in pushing Jagger.
You fell out of the clear blue sky
To the darkness below
The smell of your flesh excites me
My blood starts to flow
So help me God
You burst in in a blaze of light
You unzippered the dark
One kiss took my breath away
One look lights up the stars
And it's it's one hit to the body
It comes straight from the heart
One hit to the body
Sure went straight to the mark
So help me God
It's one shot when you love me
One shot when you leave me
I don't need no security
I just need some peace
And it's one hit to the body
It comes straight from the heart
One voice calls out my name
It sure went straight to the mark
One punch and you knocked me down
Tore my defenses apart
One round took me out of the game
You did me some permanent harm
It took just one hit
It took just one hit
It ain't enough for me
It ain't enough for me
It ain't enough for me
It's hurting me baby
Oh your love is a sweet addiction
I can't clean you out of my veins
It's a life long addiction
That has damaged my brain
It took just one hit to the body
To tear my defenses apart
One hit to the body
Sure went straight to the mark
One hit to the body
And it comes straight from the heart
One hit to the body
To the body, to the body
Come straight from the heart
One hit to the body
And it comes straight from the heart
One hit to the body
And it comes straight from the heart
That's all it took, that's all it took
So help me so help me so help me God
So help me so help me so help me God
One hit to the body
And it comes straight from the heart
One hit to the body
And it comes straight from the heart

In the last 35 years, I’ve gotta say this is one of their best! I used to play it on my radio show, once per shift. Everyday! The program director wasn’t real happy with me......
good for you man! Program directors lack of vision are why Sirius/XM came along. FM has been dead for 20 yrs. Same old same old. Even doing Block Parties and request hours became too repetitive.
Lol
Absolutely one of their BEST! GET IT!!!!!!! 7
Keith looks like he's coming straight from the Mad Max set
BenRangel He and Mick were feuding at the time, and there are definitely some scenes, where he looks like he's gonna kill him!😣
itiswhatitaint anditaintwhatitis Yeah...it looks very realistic
Keith is from the Mad Max set.
Sure does
ROFL - if Keith was about to kill Mick then why are they laughing at the end of this skit? Pathetic how people believe everything they read as 100% fact. These two have never had a real punch-up feud. Christ, think about it, other bands have broken up for less than Mick & Keith's continual supposed snipping at one another.
One of their best tracks!
The Glimmer Twins were playing out their feud in this classic video. Goo thing they did not break up during this time.
I just got the rolling stones cd box set. A very good box set of 14 cds.
This is such an underrated album. Not that anyone cares but it's my favorite one from the Rolling Stones.
It’s one of mine too ,just watched a stream of the concert in Tampa 2021 & it’s got me listening to this , and Angie.. another fav of mine
@@1927su same here
Hold back is another jam from it
Most of the songs on it are ripped off riffs ( like this one )
@@privatejets9992 care to name the rip-offs’ original riffs?
From the looks of things Keith & Mick pushing & shoving each other looked real. Not scripted. Lots of tension between them while recording this album. Ron had 2 separate them.
It was. There’s a reason “Dirty Work” almost became the Stones’ last album. Mick and Keith weren’t faking this. I suspect there were a couple outtakes where they might have slipped and made contact.
@@cubdukatseems to me Keith wanted to hit him with his guitar 🎸 at times in this video.
Rest in peace Charlie keep rocking in the great concert in the sky.
Charlie Watts lives on to make future generations happy.
Kick ass song. 😎
Jagger totally lit up...Keep Rocking ☝🏻🎤✌🏻
They gave Mick a great song and set to do his thing. Lots of room for he and Keith to show the immense physicality that's in so much of their music. There's always an athletic current running through the Stones on stage; this is great here.
show me JUST ONE EXAMPLE WHERE THE BEATLES ROCKED THIS PURE!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody moves like Mick.
one of a kind.
The Best.
Jimmy's such a classy player, on his own music he can indulge (in a great way) on songs like Heartbreaker and Stairway, but as session man he knows how to sit back and just play for the song, not making it about himself at all.
Exactly right. Jimmy has always served the music....and respected the artists he guested with.
Yes that's his genius he has no ego it's about the quality of music
Love their songs
Now that's real rock music
