Ladies & gentlemen...THE ROLLING STONES!!!
Love this song 🎵 ❤️ 💕, this is what got Mick and Keith back together. They were at odds and then came this song. It was about their feelings about their fued. This was about ending the fued and moving and realizing that their friendship was stronger than any disagreement. 62yrs says it all. Ty,for this song cause it brought back the best band in the world 🌎 back together. Keep rockin and rolling always.
Sad to hear about Charlie's passing. One of coolest drummers of all time.
Yea, that really sucks!
I got a tribute: ruclips.net/video/KS2Gkc5pR4A/видео.html&ab_channel=FernandoE.Nitto
Charles was very Stoic.
Yea man irremplazAble 😢
Charlie = The Coolest Stone
What an absolute banger, I swear this gets better every time I hear it!
1989 was a great year for rock and roll.
Lots of people talk about Charlie and he deserves it. They don’t talk much about Bill Wyman but I think his bass was just as fundamental to the classic Stones sound.
Absolutely. Bill and Charlie provided the greatest rhythm section in the history of rock and roll. Bill is so underrated. Check out the isolated bass track for Gimme Shelter for all the proof you need.
Hands, chef!
The Heart Beat of The Rolling Stones Charlie Watts has Gone beyond The Sunset. Let us listen, enjoy and remember, a Real Music man, who brought Joy to Millions. Peace
Yeah, Together for ever 🔥 Mixes émotions 🎶🎤🎸🎹
2:43 all the way best bit of the video for me
JAMMING UP IN THE NIGHT SKY WITH BRIAN, AND IAN. THANKS CHARLIE FOR BOTH SHOWS YOU PERFORMED IN MY HOMETOWN!!!.
Amen.

These guys are a living examples of a life well lived.
They were pups when they started out, and they have stayed relevant through all the years and all the miles.
And wait for this post covid tour.
@@joendrsn 1989 and you can't blame Wyman in leaving afterwards. Chawley is 80
Wyman was my least favorite Stone. Pervert. Guy should’ve been in prison.
@@ericv7531 mandys mum should be in prison...
1989. A great year for me. Got to see them twice. Seen them 18 times now and 19 in May.
Who on this planet could absolutely not love the Stones especially Keith
Keith Richards Needs to Stop Climbing Coconut 🥥 Palms .
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
The band looks happy and healthy in this video, and they sound like they're really enjoying playing this song!
This song is not known as a Stones classic but it's one of their best songs ever, along with all the other songs.
I agree. They should play it live more often. It's fantastic!
Agree pure stones style
Very good sentimental
💯👍
Love you man... Great comment!
You will be sorely missed Charlie Watts. One of the true greats and the backbone of this amazing super group!

Charlie Watts was already the top jazz drummer in the UK when they hooked up. And spent a lifetime playing 4/4 time. Better than anyone, ever.
@@martyconroy3786 Thank you. It's been said that Charlie was a jazz drummer, and he agreed to play drums with a fledgling London club R&B cover band. The rest is history. Charlie had also noted that he didn't relish being a "rock drummer" with any other band other than The Stones, although he did support other rock acts here and there including the 1983 Concert for A.R.M.S. Charity Tour in honor of Ronnie Lane. (Bill also supported that tour.)
Keith just lights up the room and makes everyone else shine. Always laughing and enjoying the moment. How could anyone not love him? ❤❤❤❤
IDK brother stupid I guess
If he ever dies I will be the one crying like a little bitch.
@@stapleremover bite your toungue
Keith will never die. He will outlive us all.
We all love that Jumpin Jack Flash we all love our stones
My absolute favorite Stones song!
Charlie’s drums sound amazing on this. That snare is just like wow...
Absolutely KILLS MR WATTS!!
Not bad for a 80 year old who digs jazz
like the winos
Yea Charlie tighter than ya sis on prom night..
Shut the fuck up
Charlie was the only one. Stones will never be able to replace him. RIP …
Charlie Watts
The song that introduced the Stones to a new generation of fans, myself included. It was a well-deserved rebirth.
Absolutely. Great to see , Bill & Charlie in this , all five of them having great fun in making this video. Brilliant stuff 👍
If Keith was my neighbour, i would knock on his door every single day just to hug him.
LOL and sure his wife would kill U LOL
One of their best songs!
Rest in peace, Charlie. You can't be replaced, only remembered as the drummer who made the Rolling Stones a rock and roll icon.
I got a tribute: ruclips.net/video/KS2Gkc5pR4A/видео.html&ab_channel=FernandoE.Nitto
It's hard to believe that Mick, Keith and Charlie have kept the Stones rolling for 57 years now. Keep rolling, fellas! 60 for 22! R. I. P. Charlie, We miss you!
Joshua Brooks Yes!!!!
Ikr, they're legends ✨
I saw them in Chicago back before the Zombie Apocalypse.
They were great! Tickets were more than I like to spend, but I have zero regrets. Some of these acts we may not have many more opportunities to see live.

It's not going to be with Charlie's passing. ☹️
My favorite song by them.
Charlie's drumming is so steady and propulsive at the same time, and the "splashing" sound of the china cymbal became his signature. RIP to a great musician and gentleman.
This is a terrific song.. under recognized. The extended 12 inch is really good too.
Charlie was the 'glue' that held the band together for all these years...Love you Charles...
@@vernpascal1531 I heard that 12" version only for the very first time on RUclips right after Charlie passed away and WOW! He could do it all. I went to NY Shea Stadium to see the Steel Wheels tour October of 1989. I think Wyman stopped touring after that. Charlie is missed for sure.
I loved this Rolling Stones lineup! Mick, Keith, Ronnie, Bill & Charlie! RIP Charlie! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Don't forget Brian and Taylor
Drums, drums and more drums. Great back beat. RIP Charlie Watts.
I've been hung up on this one lately. Killer groove, and one of Mick's most underrated vocals in my opinion. It's one of my favorite Stones songs.
i agree. when it came out, i thought 'meh'. but now icant get enough !
Same, didn’t think much of it back then but it’s top twenty for me now. 💀🔥👄
Always loved this one, still need my fix.
same here dude 🤘
Love this. Forgotten track now.
THE ROLLING STONES FOREVER!
In this video they all are so warm and friendly towards each other, looking like a real rock gang again. I bet they missed each other a lot. Especially Mick and Keith. No wonder that after they got together again they were on a songwriting binge for weeks.
This is one of the best and most underrated Rolling Stones songs. Even if you don't like Steel Wheels, I don't know how someone can't like this song.
Always liked this song. It was a great comeback song for them. I CANNOT believe it is now thirty years old!!!
Face it-- These guys are Heaven sent. What mere mortals can crank out this kind of stuff year after year. Only don't tell them I said so, And this tune rips...
I came to listen to this song having not heard it for a while. It blows my mind that this was over 30 years ago. I saw this tour at Cincinnati and Indianapolis and they simply rocked ass. I caught the Tattoo You tour in Chicago about 8 years earlier and it was incredible. I've been a Stones fan since the early 70's and it's just amazing to me the talent and energy of these guys still shines even now. Within the past two years, the Stones released a critically acclaimed new Album of blues covers, embarked on yet another successful tour, and released a brand new song in the Covid19 era, Living in a Ghost Town. These cats are true musicians through and through. Nothing but respect to the Rolling Stones.
Can't wait for the post covid show
Amen. 💀🔥
I've had this song in my head since Charlie passed. I think of this as late-period Stones. Hell, it was 32 years ago. Was Living Colour the opener on this tour?
@@dougdrazga4461 Yeah, me too, like Undercover, Emotional rescue. the Cult of personality, yes it was...
@@dougdrazga4461 Living Colour was the opener when they played here in Jacksonville FL. Living Colour had JUST played a free concert with THE CULT down in Gainesville at the Univ of FLA. when they came with the Stones.
love this songgggg
No words to describe of losing a musician that im sure we all grew up with and admired. Rip Charlie Watts.😥
My number one from this time period is Mixed Emotions. I really appreciated Bill Wyman, he never played each part of a song the same way, which was so cool. In this song the Stones do so much with so few chords. Love the separation of the guitars into left and right channels and I remember listening repeatedly to the song just to hear the bass doing so many different things.
Bill is like John mc vie from Fleetwood Mac.
You are absolutely right. He never just mashed the riff - always very subtle and varied. He and Charlie make you want to move.
Still love Darryl Jones on bass, Charlie picked him, hard to replace Bill but I think Darryl has done a great job
God bless the surviving Rolling Stone's, and RIP Charlie. Their body of work is truly amazing and timeless !
They should’ve broke up after Exile.
I so love this!! I love the song!! Great music!! This song just makes me happy!! I love how The Stones are relaxed and having fun with this song. It looks like they are having fun!! 😊💖🎸🎶
1:35 Loved the Charlie shot when the cymbals hit during chorus ❤
Fly high Charlie Watts💜 We thank you for the many years of drumming and being part of the greatest rock and roll band in the world! You will be missed and forever loved!
Charlie Watts had a truly unique drumming style! One of the greatest rock drummers! He will be missed by all! 😓♥️🙏
Watts on the 75 tour was Watts at his peak. Insane talent. There is no drummer alive that can drop back on the groove like he could. That is what made Charlie Watts probably one the greatest drummers in the history of Rock and Roll. RIP Mr Watts.
We get it 🤦♂️
Band is having a ball in this video. Mick and Keith getting along, even Bill Wyman seems to be enjoying himself
Jeff Stell Charlie too
why did Bill Leave (again?) sorry i don't know that much about the band tbh but know hes been off and on again over the years
Charlie Watts looks like a corpse as usual but he keeps a hell of a beat
@@simonhunter3430 He left only one and for good in 1993.too much touring and he is older than the others.
And I think Ronnie is high off cocaine rn
My favorite by the Rolling Stones 👏👏👏👏👏
When Bill left a couple years after this lp, they were never the same. Charlie & Bill were one of the most solid rhythm sections ever! Thanx 4 sharing!
There's no way The Beatles could ever be considered better than The Stones. 💯
The Beatles were Good but
The Stones were Great
music isnt a contest . If it is then i vote beatles
You`re right
Let`s not make our music the "X Factor"@@swettyspaghtti
I think most everyone would disagree with you there pal but like assholes everyone has one and is entitled to their opinion
@@dianejohnson5765 You've already been proven wrong because 12 people have agreed with me so far. And I know there are plenty of people who would choose the Stones over the Beatles.
Charlie was really laying down the backbeat, really pushes that song along. Great song
Charlie is the bomb! I'd take a drummer like him over just about anyone. He knows how to do exactly what a song needs and no more.
And I can’t believe that he just passed away,. I’m devastated.
One of my favourite Stones songs ever. Get well soon Mick.
Today is the day shy, sweet Charlie gets center stage. Rest in peace with love 😇✌🏼
The Rolling Stones never left but this is a great comeback song and album.
Probably the best track on the Steel Wheels LP, IMHO. It also marked a comeback of sorts for the Stones, after Mick and Keith grew apart during most of the 1980s. This video and song is such a joyous reunion moment for the Stones, with their return to the mainstream!
My song 4 ever Man ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Masterpiece.

Huge 'Stones fan here, 40+ years now! For me this is one of their 2 or 3 best singles since "Brown Sugar". In fact, to date it stands as their most recent top 5 single. YMMV and go ahead and fire away.
The song that got me into the stones when I was 14. Miss you already Charlie.
My favorite group! Love their smiles, expressions And their emotions❤️

My favourite Rolling Stones's song, even if it isn't one of their most famous songs.
One of my most memorable experiences in life was seeing these guys live
So "The Bear" latest season brought me here. It reminded me about this gem of a song. On repeat ❤❤❤ Legendary
The greatest in the entire world.
This is a great song!! Its so overlooked by many stones fans!!

Jacob McCarthy it is very overlooked... Very underrated... It's a great song!!!!
Not me! This is the first Stones song I ever heard and made me a fan
It was always one of my favorites.
This is the Stones at their best. Miss you Charlie thanks for being the best and inspiring so many
Great vocals from everyone on this!!!♥️ just always love the Stones…
Being a child of the 60's and 70's...I've loved the stones from the beginning....One great hit after another..Still going strong..Im sure Charlie is watching from Rock and Roll heaven❤😊...
This was the first real concert I saw as a kid (Steel Wheels) man what band, The stones will always be my favorite!
This album is one of the most underrated albums of all time!!!!!!
Long live the Rolling Stones!!!
Mick, Keith, Ronnie, Charlie keep on rocking.Best band ever.👍
Omgosh look how effortless the late great Charlie Watts lays it down so powerfully on this (the last great Stones song IMO) and makes this song "swing" as they say. RIP
Bill Wyman, excelente su bajo, un maestro!!!!
How good are the guitar rhythms... Keith and Ronnie have always been in total musical symbiosis 👍
I’m 72 and have been listening and shaking to the stones all my life.
Greatest rock and roll band in the world-and they’re older that me.
They could fill up any stadium or arena in the world anytime they wanted to.
Cannot picture them not being around.
Charlie turns 79, while Mick and Keith turn 77 this year.
My respects, my friend. You are a living witness of magic of The Rolling Stones.
i.m 70 john, and have loved these guy's since 1962....rock on
No eres la única
Con emociones mixtas
y no eres el único barco
a la deriva en este océano..😍
I remember the hype about this album coming out. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards had finally put their differences behind them after almost 10 years of feuding, and this was the first album in nearly the same amount of time by the Stones to be released. You can tell by this video that they were happy to be making music again, and truth to be told, this was the album that got me into them.
Saw Aerosmith(my hometown hereos) Pump and Steel Wheels tours the summer of 89. So many similar parallels. Both albums not on par with their classics but Damn good for late 80's.
Both reunited after issues. Both have overcame addiction and still going strong. Both Jagger & Tyler can still work the stage like James Brown in his prime.
Crappy album to be honest.
@@nexusi6867 BS! Hearts for Sale, Mixed Emotions, Can Almost Hear You Sigh are terrific and there's some pretty good other stuff on there too.
I believe this was Bill Wyman's last album with the stones right before he decided to retire from the band.
this song was one of the first Rolling Stones songs I heard also.
The Greatest Rock & Roll Band in the History of Music. Happy 73rd Birthday, Mick !
This is what you call mix emotions …they are having fun 🤩 over 30 years
not only are the Stones great but they surround themselves with GREAT band members, piano players, backup singers!
Mixed Emotions Is Great Straight Up Killer Kick-Ass Song By The Rolling Stones And Is A Fantastic Wonderful Masterpiece That Needs To Be Fully Cranked Up All The Way To Full Maximum Volume And Is A Great Music Video By The Rolling Stones.
This is what real rock and roll music truly is-The Rolling Stones
Play on, gentlemen!!
The Stone will say they are an R&B band
That Charlie Watts cymbal crash is one of my favorite things in all of music!!! Miss you..😇
It is so distinctive… I like it too. 2:44
It's a china. That's why it sounds so distinctive and so powerful. Charlie srarted to use a china as a crash cymbal in late 70/early 80. On all Stones album since Emotional Rescue. Listen to She's so cold, She was hot, had it with you, hearts for sale, sparks will fly, low down... And many others. And of course all live stuffs from 80's to 2019.

Let's bury the hatchet
And wipe out the past
And make love together
Stay on the path

You're not the only ship
Adrift on this ocean
This coming and going
Is driving me nuts
This to-ing and fro-ing
Is hurting my guts

You're creasing your butt
Life is a party
Let's get out and strut, yes
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
You're not the only ship
Adrift on this ocean
You're not the only one
That's feeling lonesome
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions

Let's grab the world
By the scruff of the neck
And drink it down deeply
And love it to death

I like the way Charlie always look cool and calm on.🥁

Este es una de los temas q mas me fascina de los Rolling Stones..
For anybody who's saying the Stones should retire - Go sit in your rocking chairs, bored as hell and the Stones will keep performing to sell-out crowds. May they keep rockin' forever !!
+Rustina Ginger (Rustina61) Hell, Keith called it back in 2002: it's pure physical envy because the older ones saying this can no longer do the same. "How dare they defy logic?" is the way he put it.
+Azatarot75 Thank you for your reply....I saw the Rolling Stones in concert, on their Zip Code Tour in Columbus, Ohio this past May. They haven't lost any of their ability and Mick is still dancing and jumping around the stage like he is 21 years old. I hope they keep performing for years to come......:)
Rustina Ginger It's amazing to watch, though, isn't it? I saw the playback of the Sandy Relief Concert and with a simple two song set (You Got Me Rockin', Jumpin' Jack Flash), they ruled the stage. Nothing but love for these men!
+Rustina Ginger (Rustina61) The Stones are one of the best success stories in the history of Rock and Roll bands. All the bands would break up ( Beatles..etc) but they kept it rocking! Never retire!
+dontworrydon Ummm, this is 27 years old. Bill Wyman is still playing in the band.
Steel Wheels was about their last good stuff. EVERYBODY has an expiration date.
