Btw for anyone planning on going on this, it looks bumpy but the camera must be somewhere weird because it is the smoothest roller coaster I’ve ever been on.

RideExpedition I was there a couple months ago, the line was so big. And you can buy backwards passes for $13, which means you can ride it backwards, AND skip the line. We bought 8. We went backwards 8 times and I miss it so much.

I went on it like 5 times and after the 5th time it started to feel really choppy I don’t know if it was just we were dizzy or something because the first few times were really smooth
Honestly the drop at start makes you feel like your falling down into the carpark. It's awesome
hate that part but once thats over and the climb it's good

I went to Queensland for the first time this year In January, and we bought a week pass to Movie World, Sea World, and Wet n Wild. When we went to Movie World, I had never been on an actually roller coaster, so I decided to go on the Hyper Coaster as my first! Let’s just say I loved it! And we did it another two times. The whole day was amazing, and we convinced my mum to go on the Superman ride, which was hilarious! Lucky enough, our second last day at Queensland, we had nothing to do, so I asked if we could go to Movie World AGAIN, And we did! So ya, that was my experience 🙃
its scary but insanely fun, had such on this ride! anyone else out there, if you can go on this ride then do not miss the opportunity, you only live once!

Paid to ride this backwards for the 1st time. Was amazing, lined straight back up to go forwards. Defiantly now my favourite roller coaster!

For anyone who is planning to go on this but is scared of roller coasters, listen here.
I was petrified of this, but I felt pressured to do it cause it would be my only chance for a couple years. I ended up going on it and closing my eyes the whole way up. I opened my eyes on the drop and HOLY, it was amazing. It honestly felt like I was flying. And the rest of the ride is so smooth and fun, it’s so good! I really recommended this for anyone, even if u don’t like rides like this. It’s a really great experience ❤

Lmao I went on it today and ended up throwing up 20 mins later😂😂 shit was crazy I was lifting up in my seat and just when id hold on for dear life as I’d lift in the seat, it would spin upside down and I’d lose my grip😂😂😂😂 I was out for the rest of the day, besides the road runner😂😂😂

I just did this too, I have never been on any type of roller coaster. This was the most intense thing I have ever done. Truly unbelievable!! It is now two days later and I'm still getting vertigo.

This is hands down the best rollercoaster you will ever go on! Makes superman feel like a baby coaster. It is exhilarating, and the ride goes on for a lengthy amount of time. It's smooth AF and doesn't give you a break the whole way through. The constant thrill is so awesome!

@@boltgaming248 I was thinking more of the traditional out and back steel hypers - the likes of Hyperion and the numerous B&Ms.
The best RMC hybrids are in a class of their own, but also hard to compare to anything else because they are so different in so many ways. Not had the pleasure of Gwazi yet but it’s in my top 10 bucket list around the world along with Zadra, Velocicoaster, Fury 325, Ride To Happiness to name a few. Eejanaika is in my current number 1 spot and will take a lot to beat. I cannot wait for my US trip probably next year now 🤩
Went on it Christmas Eve 2017, that G-force when it drops is nothing I have ever experienced before! I’m glad I went on it first, the other rides have nothing on that “Drop”!! 2nd craziest was Superman so fast!

I went today, it had technical difficulties on the 2nd time and didn't know if I could go again. Then it opened and I went two more times! Sooooo amazing. If you go to movie world, you must go here! It's not nearly as bad as it looks so don't hesitate!

story time- I went to fright night with my best friend (as we do every year) and we got there super early just for this ride, we waited and waited and when they finally let us start 'walking to the ride' everyone started pushing in shoving but we still got in quick. We got the second ride and let me tell you its FUCKING AMAZING! I've been on it twice, and it is even better at night time!

I wanted to do one of the rollercoaster technician apprenticeships Movie World offer but figure you'd be pretty limited in your scope of work.
Just home from riding it today - huge queues on Good Friday. One of the most insane + awesome rides ever. The first drop is crazy - so steep and fast - and the ride goes for a looong time - awesome !

If you're afraid of kiddy coasters, reconsider going on this ride. I prepared for this ride before I rode it. I watched the povs, a million times. I memorised basically everything this ride did. I believed a lie (that I created) that watching a pov makes it less scary. Let me tell you. A pov shows you what the ride looks like, but not the intensity of it. I rode it twice. The first time I had my eyes closed and I was so scared, and the second time I rode in the front, waited in line for more than an our (and also singing to relieve the pain) and kept my eyes open, omg this is phenomenal. Best coaster I have ridden on. Period.

I used to go movie world pretty often when I live on the Gold Coast but I moved to New Zealand a few years ago. Last time I was at movie world I saw them constructing this ride and it looked fun. I can’t wait to go back and ride it
First time on this ride for me was in the dark and rain. It was movie worlds night time Christmas magic, my friend screamed all the way as we had the back seats.
Went on this today! One of the scariest and most awesome rides I've ever been on! The slow rise up top gets you sweating and thinking you want to get off but it's too damn late! The first drop was terrifying, then after that it's pretty chill

Best coaster ever!! Seats hug you tightly and are so comfortable so when this thing throws you around it feels like your flying but never feels like youre going to fly off or bang your head like in the escape coaster

i went on this ride last month and all ive got to say that its super fun, if you want even more of a thrill going backwards is super fun, going up you hang off your seat but when you fall backwards you literally get pulled all the way down since you are the last cart and all the other carts pull you forward therefore having a faster and longer drop 10/10

Waited around 2 hours in line for this ride once. They closed the ride down due to maintenance but my friends didn’t want to lose their spot in the queue so we waited. Definitely not worth 2 hours of waiting but it was probably the best roller coaster I have ever been on.

I went on this ride today with my friend. To anyone who is planning going on this, I will have to say that this ride is the bomb!! Like seriously. It’s not even scary and it is really fast and super. The only negative thing I’ll have to say about this is that this ride is not the smoothest I have ever been on but it’s still amazing. Remember to try and keep your head back though. Definitely would recommend it, if I had to rate it something out of 10, I would definitely rate it a 9/10 👏🏼👌🏼

I'm living in Germany in the heart of Europe, and even I can say that DC Rivals is one of the best coasters on this planet. You really have a gem down there, believe me. It rivals (see the joke?) Taron in Phantasialand. I like DC Rivals better actually, because it has not only the heavy twists, but at the same time a lot of airtime, altogether with a creative layout that feels like flying freely through the air. DC Rivals has a great package of lateral and negative G's. All the same while being in that body-fitting seat that only fixates your body at a single point: Your waist, allowing the rest of your body to move. That allows for a great feeling of freedom.
Is it like scary?
@@jemforever6275 Scary is relative. What people find scary can be one coaster, but another one not. If you're used to coasters of all kinds, the scare factor sadly goes away. A new kind of movement will always be very scary. So yes, I would say many years ago I would've definitely found it scary. The drop with the 90° turn, the amount of airtime and the pacing that does not pause for a single moment usually defines what people find scary.
But is it thrilling? Yes, to me it's still thrilling. I feel joy and excitement on this coaster. Thrill and enjoyment is the new feeling that you seek after you don't find coasters scary anymore. And DC Rivals has the things that I'm looking for. Flying maneuvers that I would do, if I had the opportunity to fly a banshee in Avatar.
You could theme it like that, or make a VR experience with maybe a train with special seats that convey the feeling of sitting and being strapped to a dragon-like being, closely flying past rocks and trees and the water. That layout would fit. Avatar: Flight of Passage in Epcot Disney World combined with that layout would be fire.

@@jemforever6275 Have fun! I hope you're not overwhelmed, because it's a bold thing to try with 11 and DC Rivals has a lot of elements that the greatest coasters have. But with every single coaster it was worth it every time! I know that feeling of being scared first and letting it out, but usually the second and third time I enjoyed it extremely much. It's a feeling of pure freedom, on DC Rivals I felt like I could fly for a moment.
I had it several times that I wanted to go past the station and to the exit, and my dad or later my brother had to convince me to go on it. Nothing can happen. You are safely strapped. I am a coaster enthusiast also of the technology behind it and I know how it works. Every force is calculated. There are strict regulations for what coasters without shoulder bars are allowed to do, it mathematically can't harm you. Basically you just go in, let it happen, and then (for me lol) it was always worth it and so much fun once I tried it!
