I love the length of the ride but literally adding a few Cowboys here and there would make it much more exciting. Having a more defined storyline but it's great that it lasts as long as it does.
@@jjperceval Is it really? Because if so, that would make the original post HILARIOUS! But in defense of the original post...I could not tell it was ghost town themed at all.
@@MikeWeiner its a bit more evident when all the effects are working. Like the population counter on the sign. Otherwise the only place theres evident story is inside the mountain
2 months late but I think the forwards drop was scarier, because all you could really see was the bottom of the track when you were on the forwards one (I was in front) but the backwards one I just jumped a bit not really a scared though I was on the forwards drop 😅
This was one of my favourite rides when I went to MovieWorld, but it seems like they've removed some of the audio during the ride as well as the video projections at the very end before the big drop
For ages I’ve been looking forward to going on this ride again because I haven’t been on it since I was a kid in the 90s and I remember that being a whole indoor show where there’s a tree that falls down and there’s a Looney Tunes characters but didn’t realise that they changed basically all of the ride
Frankly it's time for a retheme. I think they turn this into a full on Looney Tunes ride and add animatronics. First they're fixing the Scooby-Doo coaster first I guess.
Me and my Mum were one of the first visitors in a group to go onto it! (Before the ride officially opened) I won tickets on the radio ('B105' at the time) and we went with about maybe 30 others who also won, B105 had two people of their staff take us all on the bus all the way from their office at Bowen Hills! it was one of my favourite memories and is a good classic ride! I will always appreciate that gift that B105 gave us! 😊 I must say on a separate note, i do really miss the Gremlins and the Looney Tunes rides! 😢 Ps: Why the F was Beetlejuice out the back with a police officer? 😅😅😅😅
Did they remove some of the various audio music from different parts of the ride? Used to be able to hear the main theme from How the west was Won movie while riding through the Dodge City part of the ride.
This new upgrade is similar to Storm Coaster at Sea World! You pass through some sort of saloon gates, walk to the furthermost seat and pull the lap bar down.
I remember when I was little when I went there my mum and dad forced me to go on the ride and I was freaking out and crying. But now I might actually go ride it next time I go there
@@haroldgimmy2821as a child that part purely didn't scare me because I had experienced Bermuda Triangle at SeaWorld the day before and was still too scared from that to notice what was happening at movie world 😅
This is a clone of Rio Bravo in Parque Warner Madrid (Spain) check it out! Also Parque Warner was calle Warner Movie World when first opened here in Spain.
No you are not correct Warner Bros Movie World was opened in 1991 and the Wild West falls were one of the original rides. The Madrid movie world was opened in 2002, so it was them cloning the Gold Coast park.
last time I was there I learnt they are NOT "safety harness" as they lock in a arbitrary spot no matter if you can still move a little, they do not lock in place when there is resistance against the body preventing movement
whats the point of all the static theming - nothing happens at all - put a lot of money into nothing. Needs to be rethemed into something 'entertaining'
I hate how locked in you get. It's almost claustraphic how you can't even move your feet. So different to other parks like Disney where it's just a simple lap bar.
I went to warner bros movie world when I was 16 years old with the school camp trip to Queensland and I first ever time seen wild wild West ride i said to myself altogether there nah i ain't going on that bloody thing like that towards myself altogether here anyway but in the afternoon sometime my head gave in and said go on the wild wild West ride and I finally did gone on that ride i had one of my foot in the log and I was trying to get my other foot in before itself was about to become crushed because it's was definitely the way that log was floating on top of the water lucky thing like that towards myself altogether there and I finally got on the ride and I didn't even like the drop down at all times towards myself altogether there i nearly pooped my own pants and I said to myself altogether there after that I said I will never ever going back onto that ride ever again at all times towards myself it was way way back in 2001 or 2002 i couldn't even really remember what years they were towards myself altogether here
I've been on this thing so many times. That drop gets me every time.
I'm 9 years old and I've been on this so many times! ❤ I love the backwards part❤
Has to be one of the best themed water rides ever built.
I love the length of the ride but literally adding a few Cowboys here and there would make it much more exciting. Having a more defined storyline but it's great that it lasts as long as it does.
Its ghost town themed

The engineering on this ride is incredible!
I love that ride I waited 2 hours to go on it I was there yesterday probably my favourite ride in movie world
i wait to much to.. but i dont like it...
What about DC Rivals
I like how at first you go backwards that’s so cool!
A lot of European parks have rides that turn directions like that.
the spanish counterpart has a very steep airtime hill with no lap bars

One of the best flume rides I've seen.
Love this ride

They need to fix lot's of theming on this ride
Why
@@mumbo_gamingthe theming is no where near as good as it use to be things are always broken
Frankly it's time for a retheme. I think they turn this into a full on Looney Tunes ride and add animatronics.

What theming? I don't see any worthy of any comment. Just pathetic/lazy lack of such.
@@hipflipped This was built in 1997/98 the theming was amazing for the time.
I loved it just a HOUR wait time

Needs more moments but this was impressive. It becomes almost realistic halfway down the river bend.
3:30 Sounds like Henry’s whistle!
This would be great as a Halloween scare attraction.
I went there this year and the ride was closed for some reason and at the last 3 hours until it closed it opened and I was front row on the log
This new upgrade is similar to Storm Coaster at Sea World! You pass through some sort of saloon gates, walk to the furthermost seat and pull the lap bar down.
Yep I’ve been on both
Could I please use this POV with credit as well for a review of this flume? I will be sure to provide full-credit on-screen and in the description.
Scary for me 😂😢❤

i went on this today and i was soo scared but when it was over i realised how fun it was 😭
MUCHAS GRACIAS
I loved this ride it was my 4th fav after dc spiderman and green lantern
Howdy, partners!
I see they still haven't fixed the video at the end of the ride - just before you go down the big dip.
It's like Rio Bravo in Parque Warner.
It was built at the same time.
That was literally the ride’s clone.
What was the train whistle they used in the ride?
Just your typical Wild West town with a river running down the middle of it.
My new cousins are sure to love this ride.
How are you allowed to film on the ride? When I last went I was told I wasn't allowed
This was recorded under supervision of the marketing team and with permission of the safety officers at the park.
Rip Viking floom (SeaWorld)
1979-2016
Whenever I go there it’s closed ;-;
at the start did the boats every go straight?
this is not ot bad, but i was so scaryy🙀Try Joker!
There’s so much promise in the track of this ride, but I don’t get “Wild West” vibes at all

What park is this
Has sooooo much potential for a better theme. I immediately thought I'd at least see some road runner and wild e coyote figures or something...
Should've been Yosemite Sam's Western adventure.

Some parts of the ride look broken 🤔
I literally had a panic attack when I went on this (it was my 3rd rollercoaster)
We got a fast track
I would like to ride it if a sheriff, Marshall, outlaws or fluzies or bar maids in-between.
I think wat this ride needs is some live actors
Well , they have the " FALLS ADVENTURE title right ..lol
for people wondering what that awfal smell is that the water has it's bromine a chlorine alternative thats why the water is brown
Btw way steeper on ride
I found a completely deadly dull! And I'm still trying to figure out what the hell they were laughing at because there was nothing there to laugh at!
You had to be there.😛
30 mins wait

Is this ride scary ?

That was horrible. A poor knockoff of a different ride.
it use to be great but the company who runs the park are to lazy to fix the effects
Knock off of what? Rio Bravo? They were built at the same time and Rio Bravo's theming is terrible. The rock work is blocky and bland.
