Just ordered the supersonic as I’ve frizzy, wavy dry fine hair which I have a lot so I need a stronger hairdryer to keep my hair smooth! I will also be able to use the diffuser, the newer long teeth and flyaway attachments so for me with my hair and moisture in the air here the supersonic makes more sense!
I purchased the longer barrels too Jennifer. They are 100 per cent better for me. I can get more hair on the length of these new barrels, even though my hair is only shoulder length. I don’t use the shorter barrels at all now. Teddy U.K. xx
Hi! Thanks for reviewing. What is the difference in drying speed if you are using supersonic vs air wrap pre-style and brush? I can’t use any supersonic attachments except the gentle one but I wash and dry daily so speed is a big deal….my hair is just like yours (except more damaged)
Hi Sabrina! I would say supersonic dries my hair in about 3-4 minutes and the airwrap takes about 5 minutes to get 80-90% dry and another minute to use the brush if you want to smooth it out. Supersonic is definitely the winner for speed but the airwrap you will get more benefits out of it for styling purposes :)
