I'm back with the much requested step-by step, blow-dry tutorial using the Dyson Airwrap round brush attachment. I'll show you guys all of the tips and tricks I have picked up using this tool over the passed few months. I'll also be comparing it to tradition round brushing in this detailed comparison video.

Your tutorials on the Dyson Airwrap are some of the most honest and best I have seen! Other very popular vloggers just made really sloppy attempts at it, was so cringy and disheartening to watch cause you know they are better then that!

Nora Hernandez I got lucky! I found it at Dyson’s Canadian website. Last week it was in stock for 2 days. Check multiple websites every day, that’s your best bet!

A less monetary impactful way to buy it is through QVC. They have the otion to buy it on nontly pay. You can purchase it and make $112 payments for 5 months.

I have thick coarse hair and I have never had anyone explain blow drying the way you have in this video. Thank you!! No wonder I always end up with frizz, I rough dry like a maniac haha. I have the airwrap but have always been scared of the round brush other than using it on my bangs. Can't wait to try this!

@@rdhannie hi. Not at all! It stopped working after me using it for about 20 times. Since I have very long hair, it takes almost an hour to curl and the curls don't last (I don't use any products). I would love to have returned it during the trial period.

I'm a hairstylist and I've seen many people blow dry their own hair and you did a great job. I can do a really good job on my hair but the airwrap is legit! I mean I wouldn't use it on a client I can blow dry better. But..... On myself... Its second to being able to take my own head off!
Is it then better to buy Airwrap than Supersonic dryer? I used to think otherwise.
@@AK-kn8xs I have both but I use the airwrap almost exclusively now I have long hair and like the waves.
@@AK-kn8xs I like the supersonic dryer because i have naturally curly hair and love love the drying time and definition it gives. The airwrap is great but only if i blow dry my hair straight with the dryer first.
As I was looking for reviews for reasons to buy this particular Dyson hair dryer, I was wondering where have I seen you before. 🤔 Then it occurred to me that you were the one to talk me in to buying the original Dyson with the 3 attachments. After watching this you talked me into buying this model, too.😩😂 I can’t lie I was looking for negative reviews. I am AA with natural hair, and I see this set will help me style my hair with endless possibilities. And I do love my original one. It has saved my hair from so much breakage!
Loved this video! Can you please do more videos on Dyson Airwrap techniques for frizzy hair. How much pre styling to do? Should one use the straightening brush before going in with the barrels? Etc. Your Dyson videos are literally the best. 🔥 💓

I have 2a/b hair type but very thick and If I do this pre-drying my hair never gets as smooth, loose, shinny and sleek as when drying it right the way with a round brush. Every time I go to hair dressers they let me looking like a poodle and my front always gets lots of different curves and very frizzy because this technique... Hate it so much because when home need to re-do, but never gets as beautiful...
I always let it do dry 30% natural air and then jump to drying and styling right the way... Takes me around 15 minutes but it totally worth it!

I want to purchase a Dyson because Best Buy has a 20%off sale for members 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Only in the store or maybe you can call customer service (no sure). This will be an investment for me and especially my hair. My hubby was like buy it if it would be healthy for your hair and you know dyson is a great product. But I am torn between with blow dryer or the air wrap. I’ve watched manyyyy tutorials but I have to admit the your tutorial is the best thus far. Thank you.

I love love love my Airwrap. The firm brush is everything. There is literally no hair pull and no hair in the brush or on the floor.😉 My hair gets so straight and so soft. With Revlon One Step, there was always hair in the brush from the hair pulling, which sucked. But with the Airwrap, I am saving my hair. Hallelujah!
What's more, I just bought a silicone diffuser attachment for when I wear my hair curly and OMG! 20 mins and done. Now, my Airwrap really is complete. 😁

Melissa Gutierrez I love them both!!! The airwrap is 100% worth the investment, it’s so many tools in one. The corrale is amazing too, but at the end of the day, it was $700 (Canada) sooo do it if you want to splurge, but it isn’t a MUST have, because it is just a flat iron. The cordless option is awesome!! I have it down to do my hair in less than 15 min now (thick hair, longer than my shoulders)

What kind of dryer have you had before? I want to buy an airwrap too, but I don't know if the drying tip is strong enough. The Supesonic dryer is super strong but there are no tips.
stefka_stefka I have a regular cheap dryer that I got from Walmart. What this air wrap does is it makes you look like you’ve had a blowout from the salon. My hair has a nicer texture to it. Completly different from my regular dryer. Also, this is a few brushes in with this and the hairs at the top of my head don’t become frizzy when using this type of dryer. I will admit that the air wrap had a small learning curve but nothing major. I did whatcha a ton of videos while using it so I could get the most out of my dryer. I seriously don’t know how I’ve lived without it

Do you have any tips for those of us with super long hair? (Mine is to my hips.) I don't have an Air Wrap, and round brushing (as well as velcro rollers) always ends in tears and tangles.

I want to blow-dry my hair quickly. Is there a big difference in just drying your hair between the dryer Supersonic and Airwrap?Airwrap can dry your hair too, right?

@@juliamax I think I can help you. I ordered an airwrap first and unfortunately I returned it. You really need to learn how to use it, and your hair was still straightening out so fast. I ordered a supersonic and I'm more satisfied. Hair dries faster and is nicer to the touch.

Loved this comparison video! Very helpful :) I'm planning on purchasing a Dyson further on, and I've not been sure which one to choose (hmm, I wonder how the hair would turn out using their vacuum cleaners? wow I'm so funny...lol) I've been going back an forth haha. After seeing & reading several reviews and articles I was 99% shure that I'll go for the Supersonic :) But now I'm doubting again haha! It's a pretty penny to pay, so this is not a purchase I want to regret when I start using it and thinking "damn I should've gone for the other..."...it would be awesome if Dyson has a "satisfied customer guarantee", IDK if they do? I hope so since it's so expensive.
I've personally only heard awesome things about the Supersonic dryer, that it really is something else above all other dryers on the market, and that those who owns it "would never be able to go back to any other blow dryer again" haha...But when it comes to the Airwrap the reviews are very mixed, people either "hate" it or love it :) I'm of course very intrigued by it, my current blow drying routine is taking my Björn Axén dryer that I got on sale for under what would be $50 (I'm from Sweden so we have another currency of course) that's heavy as f*ck and rough dry my hair, hahaha!
What I think I'll do is try out a hot air styler/hot air brush from another brand first that's less expensive, maybe the Revlon one! Or I've seen that both Remington and Braun have an airstyler with different attachments! :) So I may get a feel over how I feel using a more extensive tool to dry my hair, if it's worth for me to spend that much money on the Airwrap or if the Supersonic is more for me. I would like to see a comparison using the smoothing brush attachment on the Airwrap vs using a smoothing paddle brush together with the Supersonic dryer with the smoothing nozzle on ^^

If I don’t have either one which one would you recommend to get? The regular supersonic hair dryer is stronger but I love to curl my hair, the pre-styling head that comes with the airwrap can be use as hair blow dry but with less air flow so it takes longer. suggestion anyone? It’s way out of budget to get one not to mention both of them :(
Ariba - really great tutorial, thank you so much! Love the money shot!!! I'll be watching this a few times while I do my own shoulder length hair. I've been playing with Airwrap and love it. Looking forward to more of your Airwrap tutorials for tips. I use Kerastase L'Inroyable and it seems to work nicely with Airwrap. If you have any suggestions for heat protection product, appreciate that info. Keeping good thoughts for you and the new baby, healthy and happy - I think your little girl will make a great BIG SISTER!

Thanks so much for this wonderful comparison on two different blow dry techniques. I have AirWrap and Corrale Straightner. Have been debating if I should get the Dyson supersonic as well. I will only use it for rough drying as I prefer using AirWrap for styling. What would be your advice? Thanks in advance.

I love this video I have the airwrap and have not been able to master the blow-drying I have just purchased the dyson hairdrier waiting for that to arrive and excited to try it out. I have shoulder length hair fine but going curly as I age your low drying techniques would it work on short shoulder length hair could you give some tips and tricks for different types of hair please. You have such gorgeous thick curly and long hair we are not all so blessed to have love it if you could do some videos of tips etc styles, blow-drying with dyson and styler and straightener for different hair lengths and thicknesses. Just tried my round brush volumizer for the first time and my hair ended up sooo frizzy. I didn’t pre dry my hair as much as yours. Could that by? Or any other reason you think why?

Angel Newball yes you have to make sure your hair is held firmly and dries completely for a smooth result.
When you blow dry your hair with the dryer, or use the air wrap, do you turn off the machine in between sections or just set it on the counter? It feels weird to shut it off every time. Thanks for the help.

how do you get your ends to not stick out horizontal from your head (like straight out to the side)? my hair seems to "flip" outwards at the end more than get a little curl/wave when i use the round brush...
