TrinaDuhra I bought it. Have to say 10000% worth the money esp if u have back, or even shoulder pain or Sth & ive bought 3 different blow dryers after a recent injury & have to say this is the lightest from all the luxurious brands saying they offer lightweight which it's lie : Harry josh was one I ordered online & was still heavyweight..it also does dry ur hair faster & also without breaking ur hair .. luxurious at its best. I also was hoping the sound Would be less but I don't care

TrinaDuhra I have this hairdryer. I love it except the cool switch. I feel that it should have been located higher up, possibly above the on/off switch. That’s just my opinion. Otherwise I love it. Just to let you you know, if you turn the nozzle around to vertical position it cuts through the hair and dries right underneath as well as the top. I love that about The Dyson Hairdryer as well as everything else. Thanks for the review.

I got it for ab $300 instead of $500 buying on Black Friday and they included a holding stand. For me, the shorter drying time is beyond worth it - curly hair, usually takes me up to 30 minutes to finish drying, with this bad boy it takes 4-6 minutes. As someone who is literally always late bc I spend too long getting ready, this is a game changer

I just bought this after thinking about it for a very long time. If you have long, thick, unmanageable and damaged hair, it is soooooo worth it! I find myself planning things around my hair routine because it takes so very long to blow dry or air dry and letting it be is NOT an option unfortunately ): this is like buying yourself TIME.

My husband knocked on the bathroom door right after I washed my hair and I was getting geared up to exert the energy to blow dry my long hair. I opened the door and he handed my this in the box! Perfect. He knows how I hate to blow dry my hair. It’s hot, sweaty and loud even with the quietest dryer I could find. Thank you for your tutorial. (I liked the way you sectioned your hair also). It is a dream come true to not have that noise blaring in my ears ( little bathroom) , less time and silky hair! I love it. At first I thought it doesn’t get as hot but with the power it’s a pleasure not to have to sweat to dry my hair. Wonderful gift of time and comfort. I won’t dread blowing my hair. I could hear the volume on my iPad.

I love, love, love this hair dryer! I purchased mine in February and it has really blown my mind at how good this thing is! It cut my hair drying time down too and like you said I can just dry it and leave out the door if I wanted too. It's by far one of the best investments I have made! Before it took me like 45 mins-1 hr to dry my hair including sectioning, but with the dyson it's dried in 6-8 mins with only parting in 2 sections (I have super thick hair). It's just awesome!

I typically find these sorts of female-targeted beauty videos to be appalling--but, in this case, I really think you do an _excellent_ job of producing content that is informative, semi-entertaining (I'm a man, mind you), and I found you to be a very likable person. In other words, you've compelled a 30-year-old man to comment on a hair dryer video. Well done!

This blowdryer is awesome. If you can get away with not having to do the finishing with a flat iron, you are avoiding damaging your hair. It almost seemed as if this blowdryer nourished your hair instead of damaging it. Amazing! All I need to do is save $400 to get one. If I don't go eat sushi dinners eight times, I will have enough!

So here the thing, I’m gonna get a little off topic. The phrase “So ghetto” is really offensive and doesn’t sit well with me... I’ll explain. A ghetto is a low income area where minorities live, this has then become a phrase people use to describe things that are substandard and disappointing or displeasing. People still live in the ‘ghetto’ and to do this is offensive to them, so maybe let’s not.

Do not buy it. Don't fall for it. The price is not justified. There are similar products on the market for 100...200 $. This price is just a tax on stupid people. Put that money into perspective, you could buy a refrigerator for this money. This thing is just a fan with heating elements.

There’s a reason this hair dryer is expensive. It’s a beautiful device and my hair is gorgeous after I blow it out. Hands down the best hair dryer. If you have long thick hair and you blow out your hair often, invest in this. This is so much gentler on my hair, takes less time and most importantly no flat iron needed!

I just purchased this item and what you described for your first experience is exactly what I experienced. I LOVE it!!! And it's funny you mentioned the hand dryer because I felt a little bit of mist in my face and then realized "it's coming from my hair!!! LOL". Again, I love it and if you can show different ways of styling with it, THAT would be so cool!!

Ive purchased Chi dryer and the Sedu 4000i. The Chi was about $149 and the Sedu was a $200. I purchased the Chi in 2005 and it lasted 7 yrs, and survived a house fire. The Sedu I purchased in 2012 and I am still using it. I've purchased cheap dryers prior to my CHi, in the $50 range and they would only last a year. The dryers with an AC motor last longer. I can hontesly say that the more expensive dryers are worth it. I blowout my hair 1 /day. Once my Sedu starts to go, I will buy either the Dyson or T3.

Great video!! My husband almost bought me this hairdryer because I use one daily but he thought $500.00, what??? He knew I'd be upset that he spent that amount of money on a hairdryer. He would do it though because I use one every single day and seeing this video has me really considering it. Thank you for showing all the details it was very informative. Thanks again! Oh could you do a video using the diffuser attachment? I too have naturally curly hair and I occasionally style this way also.

Looked up a video looking to see if it was worth the price to buy one for my partner. Going into this blind knowing nothing about the product. Magnetic seems a good feature but no big deal. After seeing this now I'm not convinced. It might do everything you ask but so does a far cheaper hair dryer. I think all dyson has done is use a different way to claim the same results which is to dry your hair. Different technology to blow out hot air and probably the same technology they use for their fan heater with less heat and being smaller. Are dyson reinventing the wheel or are they just over complicating tech?

I also was hoping the sound Would be less but I don't care

I am browsing reviews on this product because I am buying one on the 1st of November. Where I work is having an associate discount on it and I have saved up a TON of points on my store rewards card for the last year and a half so it will be a way more reasonable price to buy. Less than $200. I currently have a $125 dryer and it is not the greatest. Takes me quite a while to dry all my hair, and it leaves hot spots and damp spots on my hair. I wash my hair daily because I have a very oily scalp (my face and hair get super oily, I know you shouldn't wash your hair daily blah blah blah) so I am styling my hair on the daily especially if i have to work which is 5 days out of the week. I would love to have a shorter dry time and have my hair dry in a way where it is less frizzy so I have been totally sold on this! My hair is very similar in thickness and texture to yours as well as the length. Even the way you mentioned you get waves and kinks in your hair when you dry it is exactly what happens to mine! Really thorough review!

Hi! Can I ask what shampoo + conditioner you use? we have very similar hair and I've been debating whether to try this blow dryer or not. I always end up with frizz too and have to take another 15-20 minutes to use the flat iron. I am also looking for a good smoothing shampoo that you like for your hair type.

It makes no sense to compare a 30$ to a 500$ one. The more expensive one should be better!
The question is: are the same results achievable by a cheaper hairdryer, say 100$ one?

    • @avgonyma1

@@nickkrikorian5909 i can't comment on Dyson at all, as i never used it.
But i have a similar experience: after thinking and analyzing for a long time i bought a "Braun Satin Hair 7' professional, with a nozzle and a diffusor. It's too heavy (and i can lift and carry heavy things), but similar reason as your gf named.
I only used it 2-3 times. Now it seats in the drawer for years and i'm using the " Braun Satin hair 3", which is a foldable travel drier, but still strong, much ligher in weight and it does the job....
