How much did it take to build the truck
I’m in process of finishing up getting a replacement engine ready for my truck like to be in to 500+ range. Engine has arp headstuds beehive valve springs and pushrods. Have cnc fab stage 2 pump along with regulated return hpop rail inserts. Riffraff intake plenums and a river city diesel stage 1 billet cam. Also have a melling lpop and fluid damper. My problem is I’ve finally got to point where I half to decide what turbo/injectors to order considering 250/100 with a s369 or 250/200 with s369. Or would I be better to step up to a s467.7 .
Also truck is 96 F-250 on 05 up axles with 3.73 gears and 305/50/20 I still tow on occasion but mainly a daily driver.
A s369 will spool faster and actually dyno more power than a s467. The s467 is a lot stronger and will hold up to alot of power. How often would you be pushing the turbo hard?
Not every but I’d definitely like to go to the track on occasion but I’m hoping for very little lag on spool up.
Couple things. Assuming your new motor has factory forged rods? An 80% nozzle will be better than 100%. That's just in the way they make them. That's all you need for 500 also. 200% is going to be tough to tow heavy with. Good tuning will be fine as a daily. 500 is easy with a KC drop in also. A KC300X stage 3 66/73 will do that. Otherwise if you are set on T4, 366SXE, 369SXE or a 467.7 are all enough. I think a 364.5 is too. Bigger you go, more you trade low rpm for a big hit at higher rpm. Pretty sure he runs a 472SXE on this channel. Good tunes needed... Hope you have a trans too, and supporting mods...
It’s a 96 crate motor with 44,000 miles on it truck engine came out of had been sitting for few years in a barn. Do to the fact the frame was completely deteriorated from rust and rear shackles where gone. I verified compression which was great and pulled motor and resealed and installed all parts above. Honestly the truck will be my dd for a while but I’ll probably finish fixing my sd 7.3 6speed and start driving it on a daily basis. So 250/200 may be way I go just can’t decide definitely wanna go t4 as well
What year is his super duty axles and what yr is the bronco fuel tank?
It’s a coil spring axle so 05+ for axles (I have 06 on my truck) but you can use 05-07, 08-16 or 2017+.
The bronco tank I swapped in my 97 7.3 is the spectra F8D model. You’ll have to extend your fuel float and pick up on the sending unit or do Beans Diesel sumps like I did and just extend the float rod 7”.
I hope that's not actually squatted it looked like it but maybe it's just where it's sitting

@@sav300 I just bought a bigger toy box and towing I'm starting to get hot. So I've checked everything so far and only thing I'm finding is my truck doesn't have the spring in it . My truck is a 96 350 all original with around 250ish miles. But I just found out it didn't have it in there and now I can't find one anywhere in store or online for this thing.
@@doesntmatteranyways interesting. I got mine from Ford as everyone in town was out of the correct hose as well at the time. Are you able to see EGT, boost, and coolant temp? Checked thermostat?
@@sav300 ya ford by me told me not to worry about it cause the new hoses are stronger hahaha. Iv replaced everything in the cooling system now minus the radiator which I'm replacing this weekend even though it's in good shape and flows fine. I can see the temp on the stock gauge and that's it. The truck is bone stock never been touched. ordering gauges this week though.
I put a desert core 6.0l rad in my 02. I think it was a 7 row core. I had to make a leather blanket for it with fold out flaps for up here in Michigan. Called a guy who makes saddles for horses and it was like 400$ and made from 3 deer pelts I provided . He used brass or copper wire to stitch it and same for the snaps but they were like a t bar oval style snap. I've got pics somewhere. It was sick

I don’t want to hurt no feelings or afend anyone so this 100 percent my opinion it looks goofy man just not my cup of tea idk what it is but something just looks odd to me . The body sweet though
I think it looks that way because the wheels are small those are like 35s and it has like an 8 inch lift, maybe if it had bigger tires it would look better. I still think the truck looks cools, but it definitely needs bigger wheels.
