      I agree! The deep dish rubber band look is gawdy! My son has a 2000 super duty crew and even tho he’s 16 he also thinks the rubber band look is silly. He rolls on 35 inch 16’s and his truck looks awesome!

      agree... putting 24x14's on a classic truck is something you just don't do, that's the equivalent of putting mud tires on a Lambo

    Live in NC have 97 250 with straight axle. Would like to change and go to the soft spring. Don’t have a clue what I need or who to do the work. Have 500,000 and it still looks new

    • @obssolutions1466
      @obssolutions1466  4 года назад +2

      In order to change to the softer 1999-04 Superduty front leaf springs you'll need to install a front shackle reversal kit from Sky's Off-Road Design like we did in the video. The newer leaf springs are longer than the originals so the hanger corrects for that. It also flips the shackle from the original front of the spring location to the rear which allows the spring to move freely when encountering bumps in the road.
      We're not aware of any softer riding front leaf spring that's a direct OEM replacement for these trucks.
      We can do the work at our shop here in Albany, OR.

      Obs Solutions, how does the rsk and super duty springs ride compared to doing 2005 and up axle swap with coils?

    • @obssolutions1466
      @obssolutions1466  4 года назад +2

      @@elisabethcansler586 it's comparable in ride quality. However, the newer Superduty axles do offer a better turning radius, larger axle construction and bigger brakes.

    Can we get a list with part numbers?
    That truck came out great!!!
    I’m on 9-10”s of lift on 38’. I can’t handle the rough ride or getting in and out of the thing.
    I want to drop the lift and go to 37’s, the videos are great! But it’s not very easy to find the correct parts that I’ll need to do what you guys did. 🤘

    Please people, don't ask "how much for all that" "What do I need to do this/that" "Where are you located" etc. There are a ton of different variables on price!!! These guys don't diagnose trucks over the message section of youtube. Also, if you need an address, take the 15 seconds and Google it yourself!

    OBS Solutions, just curious. I've got an 04 super duty. It's always ridden like a tank. Can the 08-16 leaf springs be installed on my truck? With a minimal amount of altering the back end?

    • @obssolutions1466
      @obssolutions1466  4 года назад +1

      It's a very straight forward modification. Sky's Off-Road Design sells a complete kit to make it happen. You just need to add the rear leaf springs you want and go from there. They offer a couple different lift heights as well.
