I agree! The deep dish rubber band look is gawdy! My son has a 2000 super duty crew and even tho he’s 16 he also thinks the rubber band look is silly. He rolls on 35 inch 16’s and his truck looks awesome!
Please let me know where your shop is at l will drive up get my 97F-250HD extended cab done the same way! Nobody else explains the build the way you guys do, Thanks for the video! I will spread the word about you guys!
We're located in Albany Oregon, send us an email if you'd like an estimate on work to be done similar to what we showed in the video. Thanks for the support
Live in NC have 97 250 with straight axle. Would like to change and go to the soft spring. Don’t have a clue what I need or who to do the work. Have 500,000 and it still looks new
In order to change to the softer 1999-04 Superduty front leaf springs you'll need to install a front shackle reversal kit from Sky's Off-Road Design like we did in the video. The newer leaf springs are longer than the originals so the hanger corrects for that. It also flips the shackle from the original front of the spring location to the rear which allows the spring to move freely when encountering bumps in the road. We're not aware of any softer riding front leaf spring that's a direct OEM replacement for these trucks. We can do the work at our shop here in Albany, OR.
Hey Slim, is your 250 a 4 door short bed. White with grey on the bottom? Im from North Carolina also. I have a 1997 F-250 ext cab with Dana 60 swap (its white with grey on the bottom) i would like to do the same thing to my truck.
@@elisabethcansler586 it's comparable in ride quality. However, the newer Superduty axles do offer a better turning radius, larger axle construction and bigger brakes.
Can we get a list with part numbers? That truck came out great!!! I’m on 9-10”s of lift on 38’. I can’t handle the rough ride or getting in and out of the thing. I want to drop the lift and go to 37’s, the videos are great! But it’s not very easy to find the correct parts that I’ll need to do what you guys did. 🤘
Please people, don't ask "how much for all that" "What do I need to do this/that" "Where are you located" etc. There are a ton of different variables on price!!! These guys don't diagnose trucks over the message section of youtube. Also, if you need an address, take the 15 seconds and Google it yourself!
Hey I'm looking at a few different lifts but after seeing how beautiful this build is id like to go this way. But I dont know how much it would run me, but I'd like you guys to help me get a quote for a 10 inch lift build the same way this one is, thanks
OBS Solutions, just curious. I've got an 04 super duty. It's always ridden like a tank. Can the 08-16 leaf springs be installed on my truck? With a minimal amount of altering the back end?
It's a very straight forward modification. Sky's Off-Road Design sells a complete kit to make it happen. You just need to add the rear leaf springs you want and go from there. They offer a couple different lift heights as well.
No way! Littlerally the EXACT wheel and tire setup I want for my 96 F350! Except black.
Nice to see a reference to look at. Definitely set on it now
you guys did an awesome Job!! truck looks nice with all that upgraded hardware.
Thank you for not putting 24” rims wrapped in rubber bands. Great looking truck, good job.
Nah, we aren't about that. We like the clean OG look with a little style thrown in. Thanks for the support!

agree... putting 24x14's on a classic truck is something you just don't do, that's the equivalent of putting mud tires on a Lambo
Oof, that truck is SICK!! It’d look even better with a set of your custom tow mirrors 👍🏽
Awesome truck, great video!
Liked and subscribed.
Awesome work! I’ll be moving to the area this year. I could use some help with the suspension.

That would be great but that’s quite a drive from North Carolina

Obs Solutions, how does the rsk and super duty springs ride compared to doing 2005 and up axle swap with coils?

Wish you guys were in the DFW/TX area. Need a reliable OBS shop.

Can you do this setup on a 1996 F350 single cab long bed truck?
Yes you can!
Awesome truck!!
5:16 what are those bars that hook up to the rear end and the frame that are gold because I’m lifting my OBS f350 I don’t know what those parts are
Extended sway bar end links
@@obssolutions1466 Where do you get them cause I can’t find any for my pickup
@@brydenmittleider5436 sky's off road design sells them
Could you please tell me which kit you used to realign the drag link angle? I have a 96 F350 4x4 super cab 7.3. Thanks
We used the crossover steering kit from Sky's Off-Road Design.
Sick hunting truck !!!!!!!
Do you have a link for the brakes that were used? I need new one’s front and rear
You would think they would wash the break fluid off the frame rail make it look clean
From what year is the front leaf spring?

OK thank you.
If I was to bring my 350 to you guys, what would this work cost ballpark?
Just curious, what was the total cost when all said and done?
Should’ve disk brake swapped, or super 60 swap went with coil overs and comes with disks all around 10.5 in the rear.
So what kind of suspension did you do? Looking to do mine to get rid of the rough ride
where do you get the new steering kit for this truck?
Sky's Off-Road Design
What was the wheel offset?
Can't recall offset, but backspacing was around 4.5" I believe.
Why didn’t y’all 08+ dana 60 swap this beut?
Is there anyone you would recommend in Az for upgrades I own a 97 f250 7.3
Sorry we don't know of any shops down in Arizona personally.
How much did this overhaul cost??? Looking to do the same thing.
Thanks!
thinkbaker if you message us at obssolutionsllc@gmail.com we can get you an estimate.
How much for the same kit?

Doesn’t matter how much money you spend on a truck. There is always an update 🤣
