Wasteland Weaponisitics is a series dedicated to the weapon lore of the Fallout Franchise

The little cylinder under the barrel might not be a laser sight and instead a velocity selector like the prototype H&K smg 2 has. This is a little canister under the barrel that basically absorbs the gas produced by the gunpowder slowing the bullet down. Making it so you can shoot standard 9mm rounds out of a suppressor and have them be sub sonic.
TECHNOLOGY
no it actually is a laser and can be restored in fallout new vegas

Reliable, easy to fix. So essentialy Fallout's AK of pistols.
The Japanese Airsoft desert eagle made me feel weird it just looks so odd but definitely easy to see that they could have based the pistol off of it
The weird thing about that desert eagle is I couldn't find what model it is. The webside I found it on says its a Tokyo marui desert eagle but when I search for that they all look like normal desert eagles without that weird top rail sight. That picture came from some company that makes wood grips.
@@TroopperFoFo could have been some guy’s attempt at making a IPSC gun
My Favorite Weapon in Fallout
So classic, so pretty, the blued steel, the nice wood grips. Everything
The M series weapons I believe were shipped off to the west coast to help quell riots as well as be put in dry air storage. This would include the M16, M4, M9 and so on. My thoughts on the older design of the N99 was that you have the standard military model and the newer looking 4/76 model being a Vault-Tec design. Can't wait for the Hunting Rifle.
The 10mm was a weapon I always thought was a weapon issued to vehicle operators and areas with close qaurters
While the 9mm was issued for front line and naval for its simple and "compact" design. However the gun is still an anomaly in fallout universe.
The "blue" finished that is in the operation anchorage simulator I can only assume in lore was a metal coating to help the gun have increased durability against the elements.
As for gameplay well the gun needed special coding due for the quest line, either hte gun has a durability of "negatives" (in computing programming terms, the negatives are usually a 'backup' coding when the main number exceeds the 'legal' coding) so the gun won't break.
However the T51b armor as a reward of operation anchorage was a developer's fuck up where hte durability is so damn high, but it cannot be repaired by regular power armor and the armor however will break another quest in the game so if you plan on raiding fort independant (or whatever its called, please leave your simulation armor at home.
I always imagined the N99 to just be it's military designation (Since the fo4/76 10mm is also called the N99, and it's actually a Version of the Desert eagle called the Jungle Swan.
A gas pistol could be done in plenty of calibers. The gas system just needs to be more opened up, or overgassed. With a fixed suppressor, the gas level increases, which would rule out much of that need.
Could also be a blowback design with a partial slide and a fixed barrel, using a radial locking lug (as in the RDB system used by CMMG) or some other delay system. Maybe one day I'll work on making a working design IRL
of course one of the sexiest weapons in Fallout wasn't even designed by Bethesda.
I'd love to see some videos on the Plasma Defender(one of the few weapons of European origin, not to mention energy weapons, in Fallout), the 14/12.7mm pistols, Hellstorm missile launcher, and Gauss rifle. Keep up the good work. And much appreciated for you covering my favorite weapon, the endurable Plasma Caster!
Definitely the 14mm Sig pistol
0:22 maybe the pistol we see in fallout 4 and 76 is the n80
I think so, it features a modification that can add the visual features of the N99, possibly the N80 was a modular system with a variety of models with the N99 simplifying that design into a standardised pattern.
That's a great theory! 👍
I realy like this gun i think it is a perfect weapon for fallouts world
Realy good Video too
This is a really good video yet so few views why?
Because for some reason RUclips despises both my channels and rarely if ever recommends them to people.
you csn use the console to get sonora cruz’ 10mm pistol
True and it does 100 damage which is crazy.
