    TL;DW (mainly for myself)
    - Do the campaign fully
    - While doing this, do enough side-content per region to get the first renown reward
    - After campaign is done (around 45-50), do the capstone dungeon
    - Go do Nightmare difficulty (In general do Nightmare / Torment as soon as you can handle it)
    - While at Nightmare, work on full renown rewards every region. This is priority #1. Best strat for this is get Renown rank 1 every region, then get rank 2 every region, etc..
    - Helltide is very useful, use it as a break from renown farming
    - Start Nightmare Dungeons when in Torment difficulty, farm them for Sigils. If you want to farm them effectively, make sure monsters aren't over 3 levels higher than you.
Nightmare dungeons are the main way to get to 100 from that point.
    EDIT
Obviously for any details, watch the video yourself

    ------------------------------------------------------
Beat the Campaign on your 1st character going Act by Act. Do side content to get the first renown objective
in each region in between doing storyline quests. So your not under leveled. Finish campaign around 40-50
    Start WT3
Do Strongholds & Side Quests - Combine this with finding Waypoints and Altars to also unlock more renown.
(10-15 side quests is enough)Focus on Renown because its free character power.
Since Renown is shared, Create your alt characters before you finish off regions. That way your alts dont
have to do the renown stuff all over.
Do world boss' when they pop up, can help with loot.
Helltide farming can be used to get materials for upgrading endgame loot. Use this as a break from the renown grind.
You can still do side quests that popup within helltides if you want to continue the renown grind and get helltide
    materials at the same time.
Tree of Whispers objectives - These unlock Sigils for Nightmare dungeons
Nightmare Dungeons - Start Nightmare dungeons when you get to Lvl 66. Run Dungeon Tiers that are 50 below your
character. That way Monsters in dungeons will be 1-3 levels above you. Grind WT3 tier16-20 Nightmare dungeons
    to level your glyphs.
Capstone Dungeon - Around Level 70 complete the Capstone Dungeon to reach WT4.
Continue Grinding Nightmare Dungeons in WT4 to 100.
Most importantly, Have fun. Even if this seems like the most efficient strategy, mix it up if things get repetitive.
Min/Max gear, run side quests, try pvp, World bosses, Strongholds, Helltides, help friends, make friends, etc. There
is a Lot to do with even more to come! Thanks again Wudijo and Blizzard!

I found the game the most fun just going off and doing whatever happened naturally. Like I'm 52 and still haven't finished the story, ok I might of taken things a little too slow but ideally I'd say aim to beat the story by 50. That way you have most if not all the world unlocked, a good amount of dungeons, side quests and alters done and you have a good amount of region challenges complete for free xp, gold, skill points and paragon. Then you can just go right from finishing the story at 50 into grinding to 100.
1-50 should be about enjoying the first time playing a new game unless you wanted to be in the top 1000 for hardcore or if you really just don't care for the story in these types of games.
Found myself using a non meta build and it felt really nice all the way through. It was considered an A tier build on Wudijo's ranking even still I had no issues and no deaths yet on World Tier 2.

I made a rogue yesterday and after barely half a day of on-off play I'm level 26. Even stuff that's 3 or 4 levels too high for me you just annihalate stuff, but I'm using barrage still maxed out and it's really consistent with the same build here (except using barrage instead of piercing). Once I get to T3 I'll start putting the piercing aspect on and switch to it, because you need those stronger drops but you switch gear less often vs pre lvl 50.

Couple tips. Do the main story. Once you beat it, you'll have your mount, get all the statues of Lilith and do all the strongholds. You'll be renown 3. Now with your mount your can do side quests super easy. If you want to grind out dungeons you can but it's boring without a party. There is/was (depending on when you're reading this) a bug that lets you get credit for a dungeon you aren't in when a party member completes it. Meaning you can all run 4 separate dungeons and grind out regions and renown fast, but blizz is working to fix it so you won't have it for long. If you don't want to grind dungeons just mount up and hit the side quests. You're welcome

@9:05 when you make a new character you get all the important stuff from renown (skill points, potion, obols) right away at level 1 in softcore. The only reason to do renown again would be the top rewards, XP and gold which is not worth it. You want those paragon points so just do waypoints, altars, strongholds. That will set you up to about level 4. Then sides or group up for split dungeons so you get 120 renown about every 10-20 mins.

I still had one confusion on the renown system. I am planning for multiple characters. So if I am on my necro currently at 50, should I complete all regions in nightmare difficult once I enter nightmare so that other characters don't have to bother for renown rewards across the account? Again, phenomenal job. congratulations.

I'm in no particular rush to reach level 100 or beat the campaign. This said, I have noticed that after reaching level 50 the leveling rate has decreased significantly. I'm playing on Veteran, and it took a LONG time to advance from level 50 to level 53, where I am currently. Previous levels came at a very consistend rate, and I didn't feel there's any significant stretch of time I didn't make any progress, leveling wise.
I have played "completionist style", and I'm in Act VI right now, so soon I'll get to see if Nightmare boosts leveling again, because right now, as I said, it slowed down by a lot.
As a "pro tip" for people who play like me, and enjoy exploring, doing side quests, etc: I would prioritize reaching the first 2, 3 quests of Act IV once you're close to that point, because that's when you get your mount, which is so so useful to get around.

Just a heads up on the, "Once you increase your world tier, you won't be finding items that are higher than your level anymore."
That's not entirely accurate. The level requirement for new items (sacred for Nightmare and ancestral for Torment) seems to be, at minimum, 10 levels lower than the suggested level.
For example, I cleared the capstone dungeon to unlock Torment at level 57 on my Necromancer, and every Ancestral item that dropped had a required level of 60.
