Great vid. I've been having the abs lights on for the past 6 years and i think i'm finally gonna replace the abs pump module on my 2010 Lancer Ralliart
i think theres a way to [TEMPORARILY] reset the ABS light that i discovered. u will need to disconnect the unit as seen at 1:41 in the video. leave it disconnected for a while (at least 1 hr). then u reconnect the unit. when u start the engine and drive a short distance and the ABS light on your dashboard will turn off. The code will still be stored but it wont be displayed. Then using an OBD tool u can reset the fault code. it will eventually come back but its a bandaid fix if u need to pass car inspection for registration. any fault codes on the dashboard will mean u fail car inspection.
2010 outlander SE with same issue. What part number from a new model will be compatible? I’m trying to get one used but their are so many different part numbers
Great video, friend, did you replace it with a 2012 module with a different number and it worked? I have a 2010 outlander and I have a problem with the module too
Same issue with 2010 outlander SE. light been on for over 100K miles. But I can’t find a part number for a newer model used ABS module. Did you find one ?
@@eternaldienasty7270 In my case it was a problem with the hydraulic pump of the ABS module, I only changed the hydraulic pump and it solved my problem.
My mechanic explained that the module is divided into two: the electronic part and the hydraulic part, if there is a problem with the electronic part it is more complicated as it has to be replaced with the same part number, but there is no need for the hydraulic part. In my case, the scanner reported a problem with the hydraulic pump

@@rafaelalmeida6702 how did you know which to change out ? I thought the module was the pump cause people refer to it as the abs pump module

error code 2116 that appeared on the scanner
Top job.
Thanks!
what's up friend
What scanner did you use to scan?
A leaking abs module can be fixed? Or must be repaired????
so having a weak battery cause it or just swap it is enough to broke the pump?
Did you replace with the same oem part number module or different?
Different one
I gave the year, make, engine size
My parts guy sourced it for me
@@thequickautolook can i ask...its different module with same pin connector or you have modification works to do?..
So turn the ignition on and off I will program the abs module 🤔?
Exactly ! It should get registered.😂
Hi mate what u1417 code mean🙏🏻
It same with error code C1073?
It is possible but check your fuses, wiring first…! If you have a bi-directional scan tool you can try energizing the motor with it.
